From the first contact, I found NBW extremely friendly, professional and helpful. The owner of NBW came out and cleaned my windows. He did an excellent job, was professional, pointed out a problem with a couple of my windows he found while cleaning them. I will definitely use them again, and have already recommended them to others.

My experience went very, very well. I have just been busy with selling my home and have not had the chance to do much on line. The provider was personable and knowledgeable and efficient and did everything, I was very pleased. The date I did it, it did have rain, I remember because I was trying to get my house lifted. The approximate cost of the service was as advertised, except I had to pay $20 more for some solar screens which was fully disclosed at the beginning so it was all good. First they went all around and counted the windows to make sure there wasn't any extra and did everything they advertised. They spent hours and it was hot work, so it was worth, it was a good value.

Oscar was very punctual-- arrived right at 8AM as scheduled. He was very professional, polite, friendly and immediately started working after surveying our home and taking a count of all the windows. We had responded to a "Big Deal" offer and exceeded the amount of windows on the original offer. Oscar confirmed the additional cost with me which was quite reasonable and proceeded to clean the outside windows first. He estimated the amount of time he would spend with all the cleaning and also explained the order in how he would proceed--wash ground floor, second floor, --- exterior then interior. He managed his time well. He was very careful with our landscaping and our furnishings.

Let me put this right up front - these guys are great. I would hire them again in a heart beat. I scheduled them pretty far out and told them ahead of time that my Big Deal Angie's List deal would not cover all the windows in the house. Cat offered to come out and provide an estimate, just in case I wanted the rest of the windows done. They showed up exactly on time and went to work. When the pitch of my roof was too steep for safely doing the windows, he showed me, and immediately took off the cost of those windows - even said he was still going to do the inside. Great service. I have recommended them a lot and look forward to using them again.

The service was good. The only problem I had was that I think they showed up an hour early, and I was right in the middle of a meeting to have work on my house. Other than that, it went well. It was just a little inconvenient showing up an hour early. Normally, you show up late, so, I guess early is better than late, but I just was not ready for them. Overall, it was a good experience.

They did a great job cleaning all of the windows. They were very professional and courteous. There was a mix-up on the cleaning date and they had some staffing issues that caused a delay. Other than that, I was very satisfied.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and it was good. It took five times to schedule the service.

The provider was very punctual, very professional. When they finished, all of my windows sparkled like diamonds! I had used other window washing services and had even washed the windows myself. There was no comparison, Nothing But Windows won hands down. The next week, we had several days of rain, and my windows were still sparkling when the weather event ended. I think they use a special solution that keeps them sparkling after rain events. I give Nothing but Windows 5 stars, and will definitely use them again.

Wow - I don't even know where to start. I bought a coupon from Nothing But Excuses...er...Windows on April 5th. I.e., I fully pre-paid for their services. I contacted them shortly thereafter (within a couple of days) to schedule an appointment. Nobody answered, so I left a message. On April 30th (approx. 3 weeks after I called), I got an email saying they got my message and were sorry about the late reply. Unfortunately, there was a death in the family so I understood their delay in getting back to me. But by this point, they allegedly had a huge backlog so couldn't schedule my service for nearly another month - May 22nd. My appointment start time was between 8-9am - I spoke with the owner, Cat Barber, during scheduling. Then on May 21st - the day before the appointment - at nearly 6pm they sent me a "confirmation" email confirming the appointment start time for 11am-12pm. I sent them an reply late that evening explaining that I could not be home during that time, as I already made prior arrangements based on the correct appointment time. I did, however, say that if they could start later - at 1pm or thereafter - then I could be home. No response. "Okay," I thought, "it's a mom & pop shop and they messed up a little, no big deal." Right? Well, the couldn't reschedule for another two weeks!! Then, when the next appointment came around, on June 6th, they contacted me on the day of the appointment to cancel due to "widespread rain i [my] area." Gah!!! Okay, fine. I mean, at this point it has been more than two months since I paid for their services IN FULL. But, okay. Let's try this again. So they couldn't reschedule for ANOTHER ELEVEN DAYS!! Does that happen every time it rains? Do they not build in "rain days" to catch up when there's rain (assuming rain is even a valid excuse)? Anyway, the next appointment was scheduled for June 17th. A few days prior to that, I unfortunately had to reschedule because of a home repair emergency. The next available appointment was MORE THAN TWO WEEKS LATER?!! I called them days in advance to reschedule and after all their delays and excuses the best they could do was this? So, they FINALLY showed up on July 3rd - more than three months after I paid for their services in full - and the guy says, "Oh, sorry we don't do townhouses." There was NOTHING in their coupon advertisement or their Angie's List listing that indicated that at all. Nothing. Do NOT do business with this company. Their real name should be NOTHING BUT EXCUSES. I can't believe they're still in business. UPDATED TO RESPOND TO PROVIDER RESPONSE: To all readers of this review, the Provider Response below is chock full of inaccuracies and more EXCUSES. This reinforces my advice to not do business with them. To wit: I did not say to the owner that I would "destroy them" on Angie's List if they didn't complete the window job. First, it was NOT the owner who came to my house. Indeed, the man who came to my house said that he would tell the "OWNER" to expedite my refund. I still haven't received my refund (11 days later); and indeed had to fill out a form with Angie's List to BEGIN the process. The man who came to my house said that I would "receive a call from Angie's List" THAT DAY regarding my refund. I never received a call. Second, I said that I would give them a terrible review on Angie's List because of the ridiculous way they handled my job order. I specifically said to him that I was NOT asking them to complete the job due to their EXCUSE that they didn't have insurance for multi-story homes. As all members of Angie's List are aware, you can have multiple addresses for your Angie's List account. I also have a Kentucky address but my PRIMARY ADDRESS IS DALLAS. To say that I should "update [my] information" on Angie's List is misleading at best. The assertion that there was only a "one day" delay in responding to me due to a death in the family is simply untrue. I don't know if it is purposefully misleading or they just don't have their facts straight. But my timeline of events is correct. Theirs is woefully incomplete. Most importantly, to say that they had a "disclaimer" that specified that they did not offer their special for townhomes is just NOT TRUE. I checked and re-checked and re-re-checked their coupon advertisement and there was no such disclaimer. Because of this gross misrepresentation I believe this amounts to bad business practice to such a degree that I will now file a formal complaint with the Dallas Better Business Bureau. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

The company owner, Lee Barber, arrived promptly as planned and gave me an estimate of the cost, over what I pre-paid for, since we had more than the normal number of windows. His price was reasonable and he immediately set about to do his work. He completed his work in about four hours, left nothing to clean up and departed for his next job. The work was professional...exceptional, actually... and I would highly recommend Mr. Barber's company.

Needless to say our windows had not be thoroughly cleaned in years. They needed a good scrubbing. Nothing But Windows did an excellent job. Price quoted was exactly what they charged. Scheduling was easy. Had to reschedule due to rain which is understandable but they rescheduled within the a week. They were very careful inside and out to not damage flooring and plants in the flower beds. Definitely worth the money and I plan on doing annually from now on. We are enjoying our nice clean windows!!

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal special offer for this service and it went pretty well. They left a good impression. Our windows are pretty dirty and they had to do a lot of paint scraping because we are renovating the house. We had to pay a little extra, which I expected. Since I had paid extra to have all of the window tracks detailed, my only complaint was, at one point, I went into my daughter's room and found it was not done. I thought they overlooked it but they said they got it. It was not clean to me. I also know there was still some paint on my bathroom window. The main person did a great job and had a good personality. I would use them again but it was not A-plus perfect.

The work was well done. Very good. I knew there would be additional charges since I had more windows than what was included in the deal. However, I was a surprised by the additional cost to clean the screens. I would use them again, but would get a full price before they started.

Lee Barber arrived on-time, explained the process, got set up, and began the job. He work quickly and efficiently. He paid attention to detail, and gave our windows a thorough professional cleaning. He was courteous, careful, and friendly. Cat Barber, who manages the scheduling was courteous and friendly, answered my questions, and scheduled my appointment. I received a reminder call a few days before the scheduled time. Overall this couple impressed me very much, with both the quality of their work and their focus on customer satisfaction.

No drama... came when promised... did a great job.. will use again

Quality of work was good. An issue of what type windows were included in price caused a considerable delay in the work. The issue was finally resolved to our and contractors satisfaction.

They were wonderful people. We had a little issue with the guy who came to do the windows because he missed a couple of them and within three days the owner came himself to make sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. They just handled it in the most professional way and their customer service was just phenomenal. I told them that I wish everybody was like them because they were just unbelievable. I just can't say enough good things about them. What stood out about them is that they cared and they showed that they cared. Their hearts were in it and they just wanted to make sure that we were happy.

Fantastic. The young man who showed up was professional, polite, and very personable. He explained how the cost was calculated for the extra windows I had over the coupon limit. He did a great job and I will absolutely hire them again in the future.
