Metroplex Landscape Lighting

Wayne was great. He responded immediately when I called. We made an appointment for him to come to my house to see my situation. At that appointment I decided that I wanted to start with a 4-light package. Wayne said we could either put the control box on my front porch plugged into the eletrical outlet there or we could hook into an outlet inside the house and create a new outlet on the outside of the house in the shrubbery. I decided to put the control box on the porch. We made another appointment to do the installation. Wayne came when he said he would and did the installation. Wayne answered all my questions. The resulting lighting installation was exactly what I wanted and I am very pleased with the lights and the service. I would use Metroplex again and I would recommend Wayne to my friends.

Wayne installed our front landscape lighting and it looks beautiful. We took his advice on placement and it is everything we have always wanted. Wayne was extremely professional and punctual. We talked about moonlighting from some trees and we will definitely do that in the future. I can't recommend Wayne enough. He was terrific.

Mr. Fisher was on tiime for both our pre-installation meeting, where we discussed his installation plan and settled on cost, as well as the day of installation. The project went well without problems.

Installment was done in a timely manner. Phone calls were answered promptly and questions answered professionally. Excellent vendor.

UPDATE: Much to Wayne's credit and professionalism, he contacted me within days of my posting the review below and offered to replace ALL of my lights with his newer, waterproof model.... completely FREE of charge. I agreed, and this weekend he came over and installed the new lights. They are a lot brighter and do seem to be waterproof. I am 100% pleased--and will likely have Wayne add 2 or 3 more lights to the group around my house. I highly recommend Wayne's company for landscape lighting. It's a pleasure to do business with a person who stands behind his product and his service. __________________________________________________________________________________________ [Summer 2013] The installation went great. Wayne was responsive, on-time, and very professional. The lights looked wonderful--although not as bright as I was hoping, but they were bright enough (and that was my fault for not knowing exactly what I was buying). I also signed up for the "annual maintenance" program, which involved Wayne coming out every month to check the bulbs/change any that needed changing, clear away any blockages, etc. The problems with the lights started after the installation. For some reason, they kept burning out. Like, quickly--within a few weeks of being replaced. Wayne probably replaced at least 6 to 8 bulbs within the first 6 or 7 months. I asked him if there was some reason they kept burning out--electrical fluctuations, or water from the sprinklers? He thought it might be water from the sprinklers seeping into the lights, and tried to seal them up better. My maintenance contract is now over, I have probably 2 or 3 burned out bulbs, and I'm not sure what to do next. Wayne didn't contact me to renew the annual contract--frankly I can't blame him. He probably lost money on that with all the replacement bulbs. Wayne seems to be a good guy, and the price was VERY reasonable....but now it looks like I'll need to spend more money anyway to get some kind of stable lighting in the front of the house.

Very professional and excellent service by Wayne and his team. Even after the initial installation he's always responsive and comes by to resolve any issues that come up.

They came out to do an estimate for me for some landscaping lighting. Their estimate was really high, so I did not end up working with them.

Wayne did an excellent job installing path lighting around our pool deck and accent lighting in several trees in our back yard. We exchanged a few emails discussing what we wanted. Wayne arrived on the agreed day and we finalized what we wanted. Wayne had great suggestions and helped us optimize what we wanted within a reasonable budget. And then on top of that, he completed the work all that day. It was a long, hot day for him but the finished product looked great, was professionally installed and created just the look we wanted. The materials used are high quality as well. This is the kind of service provider you want to work with. Would highly recommend.

We bought a 1976 house that utilized two floodlight assemblies for outdoor lighting, they continually filled with dead bugs and burned out bulbs. Wayne removed all the extraneous and ugly wiring, and installed an entirely new system on a dusk/dawn timer. Now we don't have to flip any switches, the lighting is amazingly bright since it is LED, and uses hardly any power. It looks so much more attractive and professional, and the uplight in our magnolia tree really showcases its form. Will be calling Wayne again to add some moonlights and some additional house lights, love the fact that this system is easily expandable. I highly recommend this company, Wayne is also very communicative and a consummate professional.

Wayne Fischer is so professional, knowledgeable and efficient. He was punctual and expedient. Our house is beautifully lit. My neighbor has already inquired about the lighting. I would not hesitate to employ him again. He made some suggestions that we quickly accepted. Thank you so very much. We love it.

Incredibly responsive from the first call. Came out on Saturday and was very professional and efficient - understood what we wanted and gave us an estimate that day. Installation was scheduled a week out only because of availability of the electrician who needed to install an outdoor electrical outlet. Installation went perfectly, all done in a few hours, we didn't even have to be home. That evening at dusk our front and back yards were transformed when the lights came on. Amazing, beautiful, we love it. He had to return to run a wire through our stone patio and he did that 2 days later, beautifully done. We couldn't be more pleased with the service, design, professionalism, and the result. Incredibly customer focused and top quality work.

I’m happy with their work. He was great. He did a good job and the lights work. I paid additional to get one additional light installed. I think it was great. Everything was great. He was there on a timely manner and he did the stuff. There weren’t any problems. I wanted to think about it whether I wanted to pay for the additional and he came back once I called him and it was fine.

Wayne iooked at the area we wanted lit. He suggested a plan and we decided to do a smaller area than he suggested. Wish I had gone with his plan and will most likely add on at a later day. He is very professional, responsive and punctual. He is a *5* all the way around. We highly recommend him.

Wonderful job. Answered all my questions up front and was very prompt. Showed up on time and finished job as quoted to me. I had 4 landscape lights put across the front of my house and 3 pathway lights on front entrance. Looks great and very pleased.

Everything went fine--did not take long at all.

Big change in yard-- whole new look. We're very happy with results. So far verything works well and have needed no return visits for adjustments or fixes. Very responsive, quick, efficient, fair. Very happy with overall experience. Would recommend, and would use again.

Wayne was very knowledgeable and professional. He scheduled time with me to look over my front yard and discuss what work I wanted done. He was able to install the landscape lights on the same day. I was very pleased with his work and will be calling him again to do my back yard.

We called Wayne after we had received another estimate. He came the next day and provided suggestion on how we might improve our original thoughts on the job. Wayne said he would email his estimate the next morning and it arrived promptly as promised. The work was completed on time and as proposed. After three nights we decided we wanted to make some changes. Wayne came out and made the changes we requested. We are very happy with our lighting and would recommend Metroplex and Wayne for consideration for any landscape lighting job.

It went great and I love the lights! My backyard was very dark and this helped immensely. Wayne was very nice, responsive and professional. He came out a few days later and adjusted the lights at no additional charge. I would use him again and have already recommended him to a friend.

He had to reschedule once because of the rain but otherwise he did the work on the second scheduled date. He is prompt in communication. He recommended two additional light in addition to the package i got on angies list, they were a little expensive, like $125 per light. The final outcome of the light was not quite as I was expecting, because he mentioned that I have two large cypress(or something) threes in the front and they would not allow to put a couple of lights there. He recommended that I get them trimmed and call him to move the lights around. So, overall its not his work that's in question, but the look was not quite what I was expecting.

I purchased a big deal from Wayne, knowing that I would want more than what the deal covered. I'd been wanting to purchase landscape lighting for a while as my back yard is an abyss without it, and there are no street lights in the neighborhood. Wayne was always responsive and on-time. He made two trips: the first to walk the yard, and make recommendations about the design; and the 2nd to install the lights. I had read the reviews on Angie's List, and one of the things that sold me on Wayne was his knowledge and the value-add he would bring to the job. Aside from knowing I would like the lighting, I didn't really have a vision. Wayne, on the other hand, immediately sees the potential and made a number of suggestions that turned out to be inspired (like installing lights along the bushes that line my deck? truly beautiful, and I can't wait until the weather warms up to enjoy entertaining out there). He was super prompt about calling me after I purchased the deal, about coming out to see me for the first visit, about getting a proposal to me that very night, and about getting the job done. He worked very hard and with great professionalism on the installation, and all went very well. I had dinner guests that evening, and the wife has now asked for Wayne's contact info. So that about says it all, right? I'll be calling on Wayne again as the landscape evolves. There's a beautiful young maple that is fast-growing and will merit a light in its near-future, I hope? and I have a vision for another bit of the yard. I'm grateful to have found a great partner with this specialty. Thanks again, Wayne.

Had them come back and add an additional light at an additional fee.

We thought we would receive professional lighting installed. The vendor who was very polite informed me it would cost additional money to run electrical power to each of the lights in order for them to serve the intended purpose of providing power to the lights sold by your vendor. We were led to believe by the advertisement that the price included "professional installation." We have no need at this time for landscape lighting that does not work without payment of additional funds to have wiring run to each light. The person who came out was quick to point out that the additional wiring had to be done by an electrician but that he was not an electrician and therefore could not install the wiring without running extension cords from an existing electrical outlet. Therefore, the package did not include "professional installation" as we were led to believe by the representation "professional installation" in the offer appearing on your web-site. To summarize, we did not contemplate at the outset having to call upon a licensed electrician in order to provide power to the lighting being sold by your vendor.

Wayne was great. He came out promptly and estimated the job and was very thorough. He was able to schedule our job fairly quickly and was punctual and on budget and on schedule. He gave me a demo of the system once he was done. He also offered to come back out to service the lights if needed. I would definitely recommend Metroplex Landscape Lighting.
