Wayne, the owner, is very professional and responsive. He had good suggestions, and did quality work. We would use him again.

As a member of our HOA board of directors, I contacted Wayne Fisher (owner) to bid on a residential townhome community lighting project. He met with me and other members of the HOA board and lighting committee to recommend a plan with estimated costs to illuminate darker common areas of the property. After a lengthy RFP process, the HOA board awarded the job to Metroplex Landscape Lighting. The professionalism, attentiveness and dedication exhibited by Wayne and his crew was outstanding, allowing us to accomplish goals within a specified budget and efficient timeframe. Wayne’s effective design and placement of LoVo LED up lights and moon lights not only promotes additional security and safety to our common areas, but also accents the beauty and drama of mature trees and landscape within our community. Enthusiasm among residents, as well as the value, benefit and quality associated with this project, has resulted in planning of future lighting in the community. In addition to myself, others will also be using Metroplex on an individual basis to illuminate the fronts of their homes. We look forward to our continued work with Wayne.

We could not be more impressed with Wayne and his company Metroplex Landscape Lighting. We received several bids from other companies prior to contacting Metroplex and were just not comfortable with any of them, and therefore kept putting off making a decision. I came across Metroplex on Angie's List and they had so many exceptional reviews that we decided to give them a call. From the first phone call with Wayne to the final follow-up we have been extremely impressed with the service. We scheduled an appointment for Wayne to come out and discuss the project and give us a quote. He was on-time, professional, and knowledgeable. He had the quote back to us a few hours later and the cost was very reasonable and included everything from start to finish (others bids we received did not). He and his crew installed 8 lights in the trees and 6 more that illuminate the front of the house. We have a very large yard which required them to run long stretches of electrical wire. The trenches for the wiring were done so precisely that they were almost invisible. They used very heavy-duty professional LED brass lights and knew exactly how to position them to get the best effect from the lighting. They were done in the same day and the crew left the yard spotless. Wayne checked with us later that night after dark to make sure that we were happy with the results and also came out a week later to follow up with us again. We bought our older home about 1-1/2 years ago and have had it totally renovated inside and out. In doing that we have worked with more contractors then I can count anymore, and we were really getting soured on how little pride and work ethic most of them have. Working with Wayne and Metroplex Landscape Lighting has restored our faith that there are still companies out there who pride themselves on their workmanship and their word.

This was one of the best business transactions I've had in a long time. I travel a lot, therefore, I called Wayne on a weekend with the intention of leaving him a message. To my pleasant surprise he replied within a few hours. We discussed my needs for this project and scheduled an appointment very quickly. Wayne showed up on time to take a look at the landscape then we discussed various options. He went to his office and by the next day he emailed me the estimate we discussed with all details included, I then scheduled the work to be done the following day. Again, Wayne and his crew arrived at the scheduled time and went to work ASAP. Within a couple of hours he was showing me his completed work, explained its functionality, and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. Not only that, but later on that evening he texted me to ensure the work had been done to my satisfaction. I went outside and this was my reply: "Just saw them, they look awesome!! I knew you would do a nice job, but this went far beyond my expectations". The curb appeal of my house has improved significantly due to a small investment. Finally, I want to commend Wayne. Throughout, this entire process he exhibited a skill extremely hard to find this days. 100% focus on customer service, combined with a well balanced personality of friendliness and exceptional/professional performance. Landscape lighting was "that project" we were going to do ourselves, but could just never get to. So, I decided to look into professional installation as a gift to my husband for his birthday and Valentine's day. Honestly, I thought it would be too expensive and that I'd revert back to needing to DIY. So,based on the extraordinary reviews on Angie's list, I called Metroplex. The owner, Wayne Fisher, arrived exactly on time for our initial meeting. We walked the house, talking about our goals and priorities for the lighting (i.e., safety here, security there, decorative over there, etc...). He listened and provided excellent suggestions and options we had never even thought about. Within 2 hours of leaving the house, Wayne sent a quote for the job. It was clearly broken out by areas of the house and components so if I needed to consider bringing the cost down, I'd have an informed way to do it. The quote was much lower than I though it would be, and I knew immediately I wanted to proceed. Wayne knew I wanted to provide this as a Valentines day gift (which was just a few days away), so he arranged for installation THE VERY NEXT DAY. For installation, Wayne arrived with a colleague at exactly the time they promised. They were quiet, professional and cleaned up after themselves. They even trimmed hedges and trees for us to get the exact effect we wanted. They completed the whole installation in a matter of hours (and it would have taken my husband and I DAYS and DAYS). At nightfall, Wayne followed up with me to find out how we liked it...and it was even more beautiful than I expected. I wish all service providers were as professional, organized, knowledgeable, and just AMAZING as Wayne and the Metroplex team.

They did a nice job with our lights! They hung up, took down and stored lights. Their prices are better then most and they are very professional.

Metroplex Lighting was recommended by the company that did our front yard landscaping. We called Wayne and set up an appointment. He was very responsive and showed up on time as scheduled. We decided to have him bid on both the front and back. He suggested doing two separate bids so we could easily decide if we really wanted to do both. He got our input on what we wanted and carefully went over his recommendations and explained exactly why he wanted to place lights where he did. He also told us that if we didn't like anything, he would remove it and not charge us. After seeing his bids and feeling very comfortable with the process we went forward and asked him to do both the front and the back. He scheduled the installation at our convenience and gave us an estimate on the time it would take to do the job. It all went perfectly, with Wayne taking extra time to be sure that the lights were exactly what wanted. The addition of outdoor lighting made a huge change in our yards. The money we spent was well worth it because it enhanced all the work we'd had done on the landscaping itself. I would recommend Wayne and Metroplex Lighting to anyone who wants to see a dramatic improvement to how their property looks at a reasonable cost with little to no impact on their electric bill.

I called Metroplex Landscape lighting because of the excellent reviews the company had received on Angie's List. The owner, Wayne Fisher came over to our home and discussed with me what I would like a finished product to look like. Wayne listened intently to my thoughts and then walked around my house to get an idea of what type of lighting would be best. Wayne gave me some alternatives and expressed his thoughts on how the lighting should be laid out to garner the best effect. I was pleased with Wayne's ideas and settled on a fixed number of lights and their positions around our house. Wayne advised it would take about half a day to complete the installation of the lights and would be able to do the installation the following week - weather permitting. When Metroplex arrived at our home I was surprised to see Wayne and one other man. Wayne advised he is always part of every installation. That way he can ensure the work is done properly and to the customers satisfaction. Wayne and his partner completed the installation of all the lights and then Wayne advised me on how to operate the power source if I wanted the lights to remain on all night or for just a few hours. The power source is operated a light sensor so the lights come on automatically. My wife and I never have to worry about setting a timer. I mentioned to Wayne I could not tell he had done any work at all. He said that is the way he likes it, no wires show anywhere. If I ever need landscape lighting again I will definitely call Metroplex Landscape Lighting. Their price is more than fair and their work is top notch. They are the benchmark for how landscape lighting should be installed.

Wayne is a true professional. I wish all home contractors were like him. Prompt and courteous response. Very knowledgeable and takes time to answer any questions I had. The lights he installed for us look amazing! My wife and I are very happy. Will definitely call on you again if / when we decide to do landscape lighting for our backyard.

Wanye was great to work with. He was prompt when he said he would be at my house, he delivered on his time frame for when I would receive a quote, and he was overall easy to work with. I gave him a vision of what I wanted and he delivered. He was good to worth with and honest. I even paid him before anything was done because I was going out of town, but I felt comfortable trusting him. I received quotes from others and he was right on par with them.

They are excellent on everything. It was fine experience. They were very knowledgeable, professional and very friendly.

Great experience. Came out and walked the property with me, talked about what I wanted and came up with a plan. We went with uplighting on many trees and shrubs in our yard and path lighting. The fixtures are beautiful, high end. Will definitely use again to add more lighting to our side yard.

This may be the single best upgrade I've done to my house- as far as value and security goes. Fast forward and it is 3 years later and the lighting system still works great. Wayne did a great job with the installation and the house looks fantastic at night. I actually recommended Wayne's service to my parents in McKinney, and they were also very happy with the product and outcome. If you're looking for a good value home lighting system, this is the way to go. On another note- I accidentally clipped one of the lighting cables with my weed whacker and Wayne came out and repaired it free of charge. Top notch service. The only gripe I might have is that the bulbs burn out pretty quick. This isn't really the installer's fault- I feel like the bulbs just aren't made well. I think they run around $9 for a 3-pack or so at Home Depot. If you get this system installed, just buy a couple back up packs of bulbs (super easy to change) for if any burn out.

Wayne was very easy to work with, and when we had a manufacturing issue with the actual lights (not in control of the provider) he replaced the lights at no additional cost to us. We did end up upgrading to a light that was better for our needs. Just a few weeks ago 1/1/2015 we added lighting to a tree in our backyard and again we were very pleased with Wayne and the installation. My husband was not happy with the original position of the lights (1000 different ways you can point the lights) and Wayne came back in the evening when it was dark so he could adjust them while lit. We were very pleased with this Angie's List referral and would absolutely recommend Wayne to our friends and family!

The project looks great. Wayne was professional, responsive, and addressed my concerns. With regards to quality, the lights appear to be commercial grade (I will have to follow up on this comment since the lights were just installed yesterday). The LED lights put out ample lighting to light up the trees and walkway for our house. The work was professional and neat (i.e. no wires showing, placement was accurate, minimal evidence (mess) that he had just finished installing lights, etc.) Initial pricing included installation of an outside GFCI outlet. However, since the company did not have a licensed electrician on staff, I outsourced this task to a 3rd party licensed electrician - which was no problem: Wayne removed pricing related to the installation of the outdoor outlet from the quote, and I needed additional/unrelated electrical work done at the house anyway. Using an apples to apples comparison, pricing was competitive to the other "A" rated vendors on Angie's list (Even with the cost of outsourcing the electrical work, the cost of the total project was more competitive than the other vendors). I would use Metroplex Landscape Lighting again and would recommend them without hesitation.

Wayne showed up on time did all the work himself which was completed in about 2.5 hours. He positioned all of the lights first to make sure I was happy with placement before running wires. I was surprised at how little mess he made burying the power wires along the side of my house and running them to my trees which both have brick retainers around them. When he was finished you could barely tell where he buried the line. I was a little skeptical about the amount of light that we would get from a 5 watt LED, but they are surprisingly bright and I feel great about the fact that I am only using 65 total watts for all of that lighting. The transformer is very easy to either program, or set for to automatic with the light sensor. This is one of those rare occasions where the end result was much better than I expected, and I would recommend Wayne's services.

We were able to set up a date for the installation. I had to call him back and delay the installation until I could get an electrician to place an outlet in the back area where I wanted the plug for the landscape lighting. After a slight delay, he completed the installation. He did a great job on the lighting and hid the cords very well. The backyard looks great.

They did a very good job with all aspects of the process and were substantially less than others I compared pricing for.

Purchased groupon and added a few extra LEDs because they looked so go. Wayne did a good job.
