+ 0 moreIt took a little longer to install everything as we had to have an electrician come and install an external outlet. The end result was superb. The lighting was a bit expensive from what we originally thought it would be, but the final result really transformed the look of the house. And it made the walkway much more safe and accessible. I would spend the same money again to have the result. They really did a great job.
Description of Work: Lighting installed along the walk way to the house and around ornamental and major yard trees. They installed approximately 15-18 lights in various locations around the yard.

We decided to do path lights (deal was for flood lights on the house) and laid out a plan. The owner got back to us quickly with an estimate and the work was done within two weeks.

Installation was quick and professional. Couldnt tell the flower beds were even touched. Couldnt ask for better experience. Highly recommend.
Description of Work: Installation of landscape lightning in front of house. We knew we would be upgrading and adding additional lights so the expense was no suprise. Price is very fair in my opinion. The work was done on time and very professional. He made recommendations on type of lights and locations, he definately knows what he is doing. He was very friendly, from his first email, through consultation, to the follow up email to make certain we were satisfied. Day of installation I found him very courteous, listening to our questions and making wonderful recommendations. Installation was quick and professional. The end result is amazing landscape lighting that makes our beautiful home even more so. I would highly recommend Metroplex Landscape Lighting......great experience.

+ -1 moreWe are THRILLED with how the lighting project came out! Not only does it add a beautiful glow of light out back but highlights the areas of safety around the pool steps. Wayne contacted us from the very beginning of purchasing the BIG Deal and worked with us on a service date. We set a few but weather messed with our plans. We were finally able to have a clear day this past Sunday and it was COLD, but the guys were out there getting this all done. They had alot of cable to connect and bury, which did not mess up our yard or beds. We truly appreciate that kind of customer service! :o) We have been working to make our backyard into our little paradise escape and Metroplex Lighting just made it shine. I would highly recommend using Metroplex Lighting for adding beauty to your home.
Description of Work: We purchased the Big Deal to get 6 landscaping lights with the understanding that we would probably need to do more to really light our backyard/pool area. Wayne came out and did his design plan with using the 6 lights on our trees and then add in 11 more lantern lights (I think that's what they're called) to highlight the edge of our pool and the stairs for safety. He also offered the suggestion and a separate bid of doing lights on the columns of our back fence. We decided not to do those now but wait and see how we liked the look of the other lights. Wayne said we can go in and add more lights at any time, so glad we had the flexibility. Final project was 6 landscaping lights, 11 lanterns, 2 control boxes (lights come on automatically at night and we can adjust how long they stay on) and a BUNCH of cable to connect this all together.

+ -1 moreAgain, although we did not move forward with the work, I was very impressed with the professionalism, overall knowledge of lighting systems and level of honestly to ensure we had more information before moving forward with the modification of our system. If we were installing a new system, I would definitely use Metroplex and would recommend. ,
Description of Work: We purchased a Big Deal with the intention of adding on front spot lights to our existing and somewhat complex lighting system. Metroplex Landscape Lighting was punctual, professional and most importantly was very honest with their recommendation for new lighting. Apparently, it would not have been optimal to add their brand of lighting to our existing system. Based on the change in plans, they promply refunded our money.

+ -1 moreWayne came out that same afternoon and created a design for the lighting. He emailed us an estimate that same afternoon. We were happy with the cost and scheduled the project to be completed the same day that we were having a new patio and walkway installed. Wayne coordinated with the Paving company and came out during the demo of the old walkway and patio. He was able to lay his electrical cable during the demo and was able to complete the project in just a couple of hours. We love the look that the lighting gives our house. We were extremely happy with the professionalism, work, outcome and cost of the project. I would highly recommend Wayne and his company if you are looking for a nice landscape lighting package.
Description of Work: We were looking to have landscape lighting installed in our front yard and along our new patio. Based on excellent Angie’s List reviews we decided to call Metroplex Landscape Lighting.

At my request, he also promptly mailed me the instruction manuel for the transformer he installed. We would certainly use him again if we need more lighting done.

Description of Work: Wayne installed landscape lighing throughout my landscape beds in the front yard. His proposal and installation were accurate and the job was completed in the time he promised. He and his business partner were professional, left the yard in excellent condition. I requested a natural look and he achieved what I wanted. I also appreciated that he was willing to wait for me upon the completion of the job so I could take a final look before they left. I had been delayed at my car dealership. I would recommend Wayne to others for similiar work.

+ -1 moreWayne and his company was very pleasant, knowledgeable and professional to work with. He was prompt on communicating with us, and explained the charges and extra charges well. The end result is awesome and just what we asked for! Our lights are lovely!! The only bummer, is that we didn't anticipate having to spend so much on 10 backyard lights. The main reason that we have a large yard, and that meant way more cable than the Angie's offer included. This is obviously the nature of the business, and we don't see it as a negative reflection on Metroplex Landscape Lighting. We would recommend them for sure!
Description of Work: We took advantage of 2 Angie's deals and got a total of 10 LED lights shining up on the trees in our backyard.

Wayne was prompt, responsive, professional and just plain wonderful to work with. He provided design ideas and kept my budget in mind. With Wayne's help, I was able to re-light my entire front and back yards. I couldn't be happier! I would definately work with him again and highly recommend him to friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Re-lit entire front and back yard. Removed all old transformers and fixtures and installed new ones and many addtional lights.

I knew I wanted a lot of lighting to really highlight the house at night, but didn't know much about spacing, where to put them for maximum effect, etc. Wayne did a great job of answering my many questions, and outlined a plan to really do a great job of providing landscape lighting for my home. He provided me a quote (which was very reasonable for the amount of lights being installed), and was on his way. I scheduled Wayne to come back to complete the job shortly thereafter. Wayne showed up right on time, and did an excellent job of installing the system. I'm very pleased with the results, and would highly recommend Metroplex Landscape Lighting to anyone who is looking for quality work and a reasonable price!

Description of Work: We had landscaping lighting installed in both the front and back yards. After 3 bids, Wayne with Metroplex Landscaping proved to be the most reasonable and practical of the installers. Transformers were put in the garage for the front and outside wall in the back. We had low voltage flood lights as well as low voltage lanterns placed around greenery. The end result enhances the look of our house at night and provides security lighting when absent. Metroplex was punctual and professional and quick to answer phone calls with questions. I would definitely recommend them to others. The only small disappointment was that they did not take credit cards. We love getting those mileage points.
