Metroplex Landscape Lighting

Wayne was very professional and answered all of our questions. He was punctual and took no time at all to complete the installation. We met with him, had a plan to execute, and had our landscape lighting all within a weeks time. We are very please with the quality of workmanship and the end result. If our landscaping could use additional lighting in the future, we'll be sure to contact Wayne again, and would recommend him to friends and family.

Purchased landscape lighting package special through Angies List. Scheduling was reasonably easy and installation was 3-4 weeks out from date of purchase. A reasonable backlog of work for a Contractor who is good at what they do and fairly priced. I did not really need as many lights as I had purchased, but they installed all of them any way in unnecessary areas. Would have been nice for them to be a complete professional and say: Customer, you don't candidly need as many lights as you purchased, here is how many you really need based on the size of your yard and what you are trying to accomplish. Here is a refund of the difference. Quality of Materials and installation were great.

Wayne was super nice to work with, worked alone, and knew exactly what he was doing. He provided me with ideas that were simple, but were so effective and added brilliant looks to the front part of our house! I can't begin to tell you how much we love the look! We get complements after complements! We have a circular drive in the front of our home, with yaupon hollys, shrubs and crepe myrtles next to the sidewalk along the street in our cul-de-sac. Wayne not only lined the flood lights along the front sides of our house, but also up the 3 crepe myrtles. I liked it so much, I had Wayne come back and add more lights going up the 3 yaupons (which line our driveway). It's not overdone, by no means - just the right amount of lights. Fabulous!! I would not hesitate to recommend Wayne to anyone who is interested in considering landscape lighting for their home!!! Thanks so much, Wayne!!!!

Very neat installation of lighting and its wiring. Everything tucked in and out of sight. Well placed and provides a nice enhancement of the front exterior and its trees.

Punctual and professional. Wayne suggested placement of the lighting for best effect, and performed the installation. Everything went flawlessly. I'm very happy with the service and have already scheduled him to install lighting in the back garden next week.

Company was very responsive. I called and was able to schedule an appointment right away. They showed up as scheduled and help lay out the lights exactly as I wanted. He did the install on the same day! Installation was professional and looked great. the Deal I purchased was of good value. I paid a small fee to upgrade my box to have the lights turn on automatically. I am very happy with the lights.The company was great and I would use them again.

All went very well. The technician was able to come out within a few days of calling and install the Angie's List package. He returned within a few days to install the additional lights that were purchased. He reviewed with me how the timers worked and cleaned up.

The outside of my house had seemed too dark to me at night. From the standpoint of safety and appeal, I wanted lighting without making a grand announcement to the whole neighborhood. Wayne listened to what I wanted, made suggestions that offered options and set to work. He suggested placement of some floodlights to coordinate with my landscape, creating attractive shadows and patterns on the walls. He examined the layout for the wiring to allow for tucking it safely in already existing spaces in my sidewalk and porch. He looked over the big picture carefully to allow for the most efficient use of wire and plugs. I loved the artistic, knowledgeable approach he had to his work! He worked quickly, was finished in about an hour! He set the timer - while instructing me in how to change it to coincide with DST and ST. I have absolutely loved the effect of his work in the past year!

While the original light package wasn't quite enough, additional lights were affordable with no hard sell. They really add another level to the overall appearance !

Wayne was very professional and arrived exactly at the time we discusse don the phone. I had purchased a lighting package as part of a daily deal -- Wayne and I discussed adding more lights to obtain the effect I was looking for -- work was completed within an hour and a half -- excellent servcie -- Wayne definitiely understands what customer service is. We had to re-schedule a few times and he was very accommodating. His work was professional and quick. He doesn't try to nickel and dime you. Highly recommended. - richard

Wayne stopped by Saturday afternoon on March 9th. We discussed the layout and decided to add an additional 2 lights. We had to add quite a few feet to the cord as I wanted to run the transformers to my back part of my house so the cord would not cross my sidewalk. I was not prepared to pay an extra $470 (on top of the $379 coupon), however - I am happy with the result. Wayne worked hard to do a complete installation that afternoon, setup the transformer timers and was complete within 2.5 hours. That night, the lights came on as Wayne scheduled, however they were not as bright as I had expected. The quality of the light was dim for exterior house-landscape lighting. As it worked out, we had a heavy rain that night which knocked out 3 of the lights. I notified Wayne of the issue via email and he promptly responded and came back on March 12th to repair. Wayne replaced, at no charge, all of the lights and installed a heavier duty - brighter- landscape light. So far so good. The lights look good and timers work well.

Wayne came out on the day scheduled and installed some additional lights over and above what the "special" called for. All the work was performed right then and worked perfectly!!!

Overall we had a great experience with Wayne Fisher and Metroplex Lighting. Based on reviews in Angie's List, I called Wayne on a Saturday and had an appointment set up with him the following week to review my lighting ideas, look at lighting options and get an estimate. Wayne arrived when he said he would, took care to look carefully at the work to be done, provided written estimates within 24 hours. Wayne broke the estimates out by project so it was very easy for us to pick and choose what we wanted to have done at this time. He promptly returned all my calls and emails and answered all my questions. In each instance he was polite and professional. On installation day, Wayne arrived when he said he would and completed the job when he said he would. It was a complete pleasure working with Wayne on this project. I highly recommend Metroplex Landscape Lighting.

Wayne was fantastic. He was right on time, very polite, and very professional. He did the work quickly and very cleanly. We could barely tell where he buried the wires after he was done. We valued his opinion and trusted his advice on light placement. In order to achieve the look we wanted he recommended what we could do now and later. We decided to do it all at once and get the full effect. We were very happy with the result. The 10 lights look amazing; Wayne's recommendations really paid off. I don't think our placement ideas would have looked nearly as nice. The lights on the trees and big bushes really look the best. We were very happy with that. The ones on the house brick are very nice too. We have 4 pillars that were lit up. This is the only slight negative as the light is not very bright at the top of the pillar, and adjusting the lights only helps so much. However, after I trimmed some of the bushes to give a more open space for the lights and as we have gotten used to the lights it looks better and better. We were worried about the color of the lights, but they have a very nice white light. It is not as yellow as an incandescent light, but we have some neighbors with high voltage lights that are pretty yellow and we much prefer the white light of our LEDs. Before our house was very dark. Now it really shines and looks like a model house. What a huge difference the lighting makes. We were always reluctant to have this work done because of the recurring costs (ex: bulbs and mostly the electricity costs). However, with the LED lights we will not have to replace the bulbs for something like 10 years (they will probably outlast the fixtures) and the electricity cost is essentially free. I think I calculated that it would cost about $25 a year in electricity. Amazing... I would highly recommend Wayne. He was a pleasure to work with and his work really shines (Pun intended)! As always I love Angie's list. I have yet to be disappointed...

Wayne responded to my inquiry right away, got me an estimate which was very reasonably priced, and performed the work within a day or two. After the initial installation, I told Wayne that it just didn't provide enough light. The effect was very pretty, but didn't solve the problem of us having enough light to see. Wayne was great. He apologized that the work didn't offer a solution, and immediately offered to try something else. He ordered new, bigger lights and came out and replaced them all within a few days. Wayne himself said "I don't think this is what you are wanting either". He then offered to give us our money back and he'd remove all the lights. I asked if he'd be willing to try one last time. So, instead of doing lights on every other tree in the backyard, we put lights on every tree and shining on the back of our house. And, it's perfect! Third time's the charm! We are just so impressed with Wayne--his honesty, integrity, strong work ethic, responsiveness, and great customer service. We really appreciate Wayne and the great job he did for us! There are not many people/companies these days that will go above and beyond for their customers, and numerous times!

The landscape lighting enhances the beauty of our backyard! We were impressed by Wayne's punctuality and professionalism. He went above and beyond and helped us save about $200.
