This was our first time to build/own a pool, so we were very nervous and uneducated about the price/process. We tried to do as much due diligence as possible and spoke to 3 different builders for quotes/designs. We settled on Foley because they were the easiest to work with and had built 3 other pools on our street. All of our neighbors gave them positive feedback. Kevin Foley was great to deal with and was very helpful in helping us make decisions. The pre-construction part was very easy, but the communication fell off dramatically after we signed the contract and construction began. We were assigned a project manager who was new to the company and he just was not thorough enough for me. He didn't seem to know when sub-contractors would show up to do things and when I would ask he was unresponsive. The only time he was diligent was when he needed to collect money. I finally got fed up and complained to Kevin who put me in touch w/ his construction manager John Supplee. John was great and cleaned up a number of mistakes that the other project manager had made. He was responsive and helped get the pool completed in a timely manner. In the end, we are very happy with the pool. We have had a few issues since construction was completed, but Foley has been quick to fix them. I would recommend them to others so long as they didn't get our original project manager to oversee the job.

From the start we were looking at 60 days start to finish, considering it started in April that is a safe bet planning on rain related delays. The first week the hole was dug, plumbing and rebar installed and the gunite was shot. We are ahead of schedule. Week 2 was tiling, coping and two water scuppers installed along with the rough electrical and plumbing to the area where the equipment will be located. We went with the Polaris VRS pump, I can tell you it is very quiet and efficient. You pay a little more on the front end for this pump but the energy savings and quiet operation will pay for the extra cost in about 12 months. Our electric bill went up about $25 a month over previous bills without the pool. Pool turned out great, we have received multiple comments from people about how great everything turned out. I would definitely recommend Foley Pools.

They were fairly price. I think they've kept us well informed. They've met their time tables and deliverable and we've been happy with their service. I think they've been doing a pretty good job.

They did a great job. Any issues that we have had they have followed up on.

We shopped around with 4 pool companies and Foley Pools and another company were the final 2 that we choose from. Kevin was very knowledgeable about his business and answered most of our questions. We would have liked more transparency with the costs of the pool and ALL its pieces and a little more patience with such a BIG purchase. This is why we ultimately went with another company. We have referred Foley Pool to others in our neighborhood however since they were in our top 2 and we liked some of their ideas. In fact, one of our neighbors broke ground with them in the beginning of 2012 and seemed satisfied.

They gave us the blue prints. They are just flat out honest and good natured. They said it is going to be a little bit expensive but hears what we are doing and why. If you want to trim the cost you are going to lose some features. They really opened their books to us and we found that really refreshing. The level of trust with was very high. The price came in above what we can afford and we are finding the money to stay with them. We have decided it is worth not shopping around and finding a way to stay with this company.

Kevin Foley and his entire team were great. He was helpful guiding me through the whole process. Additionally, he has answered questions or immediately addressed any concerns I've had since the build. I really appreciated that the Foley build included everything to build and pass inspection for the pool. Other bids came in for less, but when looking close, they didn't have everything included. For example, foley included the fencing to code around the equipment. You can't fill the pool without it, so it was a must have cost. Others that looked lower, said the fencing would have to be contracted seperately by me. I'd rather know all the cost in the beginning vs finding out at the end. Not the way to hit the budget!

Perfect - no complaints

Kevin was very knowledgeable and helped educate us about the pool construction process and our options. They were the highest of the 3 estimates we obtained and we felt they would have done a good job.

We had 4 companies provide an estimate and design. One was a cookie-cutter design so they were out. Another one had a nice design that needed tweeking (wasn't to scale to our yard and did not include our wants), but they never came back. It was down to Foley's and Distinctive Pools. We chose Foley's because our rep (Kevin Foley) was knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He adapted and tweaked the original design until we were happy, even though we had not yet signed a contract. I was impressed that a company that did not have our money yet spent as much time with us as he did, that made me feel they would be responsive when they got the job...which they were. The excavation and construction went great. They were right on with the timeliness and schedule. Kevin was available anytime I had a question. Tim, the project manager was good and was there when I had any concerns. All the contractors (stone, plumbing, gunite) used did a fantastic job.

ALWAYS PERFORMED AS PROMISED. CONSTRUCTION TIMEFRAME AS AGREED WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND WHAT WAS PROMISED.
