This was a reclamation project. We received a bid from David to texture and paint the ceilings of the house we just bought, we went with another bid that was cheaper and got totally screwed. The contractor we hired completely botched the job to the point we fired him before he was finished. We called David back, explained what happened, and he had a new bid to me by the end of the day...this time to fix the ceilings and repaint the entire interior of the house. David had his crew out working on our house the next day on a Saturday...mind you we accepted the bid on a Friday evening. David's crew finished the whole job in 4.5 days and we were able to move in the following weekend. They are amazing and we couldn't be happier with the result. Everything they did was done properly and professionally and they had great suggestions on small details throughout the house that really make a difference. We highly recommend these guys and will continue to use them for their fabulous work. These guys care about you and your home.
Description of Work: Texture ceilings and repaint entire interior.
David and his crew were fabulous. ?They worked in a very tight timeline to meet our move-in date deadline. ?Everything was done to our liking, and if we had any additional requests they were met immediately and at no additional charge. ?He subbed out to a painter he uses, who literally brought in 10 men to complete our huge interior paint job. ?The price included paint as well. ?They even changed our smoke detectors and light bulbs with their tall ladders. ?I will definitely hire him back to do additional work in my home.
Description of Work: Cosmetic renovation of 4,000 sq. ft. home. Pulled up tile on 1st floor (~2200 sq. ft) and replaced with custom hardwood - white oak, grade A and stained to my preference. Replaced carpet on second floor (~1800 sq. ft). Painted all walls, ceilings, trim work, including doors and railings. Replaced door hardware.

These guys did a great job. I gave them 2 days in a new house and they painted the entire house along with did a lot of child proofing. Very happy I used them, and would use them again in a heartbeat. The owner, David, came by multiple times to make sure that I was happy and was always asking if there was anything else that he could do.

I received bids from 5 companies and ended up selected Epic Renovations. All bids were within fairly close range of each other. Epic was not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive. They were in the middle - but I had a really good rapport with David Strain, the owner. I felt a very positive vibe from him and felt I could trust him – which ended up being true. David was able to take my plans for the bathroom and run with them – bringing in new ideas that were exciting, yet didn’t add very much cost. During construction, David and his company was flexible with any changes that came up – always asking for our input and offering his suggestions as well. The total cost at the end of the day was right in line with his estimate. There were no hidden or unexpected charges. Of the amount paid, $4000 was spent on materials that we picked out (vanity, mirror, light fixtures, faucets, paint, toilet, and 5 different types of tile). All told, everything in the bathroom was replaced except for the existing bathtub, which did get a new upgraded faucet and a newly tiled skirt to match the all the new tiles. The entire bathroom was painted, a new vanity was installed with a new mirror and light fixtures, a new toilet was installed, and a beautiful new shower was installed with 4 types of different sized tiles, a newly added seat, and a stunning frameless wall/door. David and his team were very professional and worked diligently until the job was complete. I never had to wait on them or wonder when they would finish the job. They always kept me up to date on the entire process. We couldn’t be happier. The remodeled bathroom looks and works amazing. We plan to use David and Epic Renovations on projects we have planned in the coming years.
Description of Work: Our existing shower failed and caused damage behind the wall. We needed to replace the shower and fix the damaged areas. We quickly found out that this was going to end up costing more than we had hoped. Since we were going to have to spend some money to fix it, we decided we might as well spend a little bit more to not just replace the shower as it was, but to update it and make it more modern. Then, we realized that by having an up-to-date shower, it wouldn't match the rest of the out-dated bathroom. So we had a decision to make. Do we spend money to simply fix/replace what was broken and still have an out-dated bathroom? Or do we spend a bit more and update everything to what we want? Updating the entire bathroom definitely increased the cost (although not as much as you would think), but it just didn't make much sense to us to spend money to fix/replace something back to something that we didn't like or to have ½ the bathroom updated and the other ½ outdated. So we elected to buckle down and remodel the entire master bathroom.

They were very professional and prompt. They showed up each day on time and the owner, David, was here as well. They came up with a good idea of a design for the arbor to fit into a specific area and a creative way for the lighting. They cleaned up very well and have a reasonable price.
Description of Work: David Sprain and his crew built an outdoor kitchen and arbor in my backyard.
