DETAILED HOME CLEANING

Beware ! You’ve been warned. AFTER 13 YEARS was passed off to a company (SCRUBS), by her sister company “Detailed Home Cleaning”. Shortly after finding items missing from my master bath and speaking to the new owner I FIRED SCRUBS Home Cleaning Frisco location.

At first, it went great. But over the last two months, the service has deteriorated and I have found a new cleaning service. The main issue I had is when I had travel plans and needed to change my schedule, they would not return my calls. I called on a Wednesday to say we would need to make some changes in the cleaning dates in December. It is now Monday and they never returned my call. This happened the last time I tried to contact them also. Beyond that, the punctuality of the maids has gotten bad. They did not show up at all in the two hour window last time. The quality of the cleaning has also declined. Some examples are there was a sticky area on my kitchen floor the day before they came, I knew they were coming so I got most of it and figured they would mop and get the rest. The sticky area was still there after they left. They used to always reopen the shutters after they dusted, last time, they were left closed on the front of the house. I have noticed mold on the bottom of the shower which indicates it wasn't getting cleaned. When I came downstairs to pay them last time, one of the maids was texting on her phone. It is really disappointing, because they really did a good job when first hired. I don't know what happened, but something has changed with this business.

They weren't that great. The first time they came, they were pretty good. The second time they came, they didn't seem to be as thorough. I don't think that I would use them again. Their price is good. They were respectful.

These are the worst cleaners I I have hired. They quoted a low price compared to others and i should have known. The ladies showed up an hour late. After an hour and a half they said they are done and left. When I went and saw the gas stove I was shocked. They had used a metal brush or something that the paint had completely peeled off in one section. I knew for sure that the scratches and paint issues were not before as i myself bought this stove about a month ago before moving out. There were cob webs all over the house. Most of the baseboard was not even wiped clean. I had to wipe all the base boards again. Some of the closet shelves still had grease left. I had to use kaboom and scrub it again. It was an utter waste of my time and money hiring these people. I tried to call Virginia and she won't even take my calls any more. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS

The team of four ladies worked quickly and thoroughly and finished the job in an hour and a forty-five minutes. Although they were nearly two hours later than my scheduled time, Virginia was able to give me an ETA when I called and was extremely professional. The crew did a thorough clean on the room that needed the most attention and avoided the room I asked stay closed. Before they left, they asked me to check their work and they confirmed that they weren't supposed to clean my spare room. I am very pleased with the cleaning job and will likely look into a more regular cleaning schedule from DHC.

I have been using this service for the past year. Each time they came to my home they performed the service on time. However, each time, I had the equivalent or more of the cost in damages to woodwork, marble, furniture, and fixtures. I have not charged them for the damage in the past year, however I did request that they re-inburse me this past time of service. They refused and claimed that they were not responsible. They did not respond to the demand for re-inbursement this past time and as a result I let them go.

Great, they did a great job. Everything cleaned.

They are pretty good. I really like the staff that comes to our home. They are extremely friendly and they are always accommodating when it comes to scheduling.

The cleaners were very detailed, resopnsive, professional. They worked consistently and were here for longer than they had planned (the house was very dirty!). I have had many average cleaners over the years, and have rarely seen a crew and company as good as these.

I was very impressed. They arrived a few minutes early and went straight to work. The big thing to remember is that they are coming to CLEAN the house, not pick up after you or rearrange your house. (For example: I left a bottle of wine on the counter and it was still sitting there when they were finished -- but it was spotless, and under and around it was spotless.) I don't have many knick-knacks or small items, but those that are in our cabinets were cleaned carefully and put back in their exact position. Everything is simply clean - bathrooms, kitchen, all tile and hardwood floors, blinds, books in bookshelves -- even the tall silk plants. They were here for nearly 3 hours (4000 square foot house), but that was probably due to the first cleaning as I was told they would be finished in 90 minutes or so. All in all, when you compare speed, price and quality, there is no way I can give them less than an "A". (Note: the price above was the price quoted by the company and does not reflect my tip to the crew).

I was impressed that there wasn't a large initial deep cleaning charge since our house was already in good condition. Many companies want to gouge you for that initial fee without regard to the actual need for a deep cleaning. Our crew comes every two weeks and they are wonderful! They use fresh smelling, not irritating products. No fabuloso smell here! Four ladies come out during the agreed upon time (very prompt) and clean for about an hour. We prefer this because we don't need to be out of the house for several hours. I would highly recommend the company.

I still use them up to twice a month and they do a fantastic job every time.

They provide excellent service. If there is anything they miss you only have to make a call or email Virginia and it does not happen again.

Virginia sent a crew of 4 people out, only one spoke engilish so I told her what I wanted done. They did a very poor job and were done in an hour and half. They did not do a deep clean at all.

The owner is Virginia Lopez. They did a great job and did everything they said they were going to do. We are actually working on setting up something on a monthly basis with them.

It’s going great. I just have them once a month. They listen and very accommodating.

Virginia was a true professional, she was quick to respond and set up service. She came to our home to preview and actually came with the crew on the 1st cleaning day. She even came with copy on insurance & bonding. The crew she brought was great and very nice.... very hard workers. I don't think the house has been this clean in a long time.

The 4 ladies arrived early (15 mins) on the appointed day with Virginia who reviewed the expectations ( I added more areas to dust) and they were done in about 2:15hours.

For the most part I would say that they are pretty good and pretty detailed. They do pretty much the standard housecleaning. They are definitely very service oriented I would tell others that I think it is good quality service for the price. I would use them again in the future.

We had been out of town for a few weeks and our house needed a really deep clean. Virginia was responsive and it was easy to schedule the clean. She initially sent four workers, but then sent two more. For two and a half hours, six workers cleaned our house from top to bottom. It was beautiful when they finished! The only criticisms that I have is that they don't put all the knicknacks back the way they were - but they had a very big job, and I didn't mind rearranging them again; also, it is a little difficult to communicate with the workers if your Spanish is not too good. I did find a couple of places that they missed with the duster, but overall I was very pleased and actually have used them again since, with the same satisfactory results.

Virginia promptly returned my emails. She worked with me when I had to change my schedule. She and her crew were on time. My home really needed the deep clean and they were patient and did a really good job.

Fantastic- Virgina and her crew cleaned my house from top to bottom. It has honestly never looked better.

Virginia came out and walked through my home to view the areas that we wanted cleaned. Very nice and courteous. We scheduled our first cleaning on 9/13/11. Boy I can't describe how wonderful she and her crew are! They arrived and from the time that they stepped into my home they started their cleaning. Her crew of 4 took different parts of my home and was completed with the initial cleaning in 3.5 hours. When I arrived home from work my rather dusty/dirty home was spic and span. It shined like it's never shined before. I highly recommend Virginia and her crew. They do an awesome job and we have continued our services with them on a bi-weekly status. You won't go wrong in selecting this company for your cleaning needs!

We selected this company to do a detailed cleaning followed by bi-weekly cleanings after my wife had surgery. In all they cleaned our house 4-5 times. Virginia was very responsive and professional in our interactions. The crew always showed up close to the scheduled time and the charges were customary.Certainly the cleaning team (3-4 ladies) did not do a bad job. But at the same time my wife was not completely satisfied. The crew seemed more focused on completing quickly than on thoroughness and always missed something - forgot to do a bathroom once, didn't clean the stairs once, didn't clean a mirror another time. They also were a bit rough, in their haste, when dusting the wooden shades on our windows and damaged one. No single issue was a biggie but taken together left us dissatisfied. We will look elsewhere for cleaning services. I debated between an overall score of B or C. If quality is most important to you an overall of C makes sense (which is how I'd rate it). But for those for whom punctuality and responsiveness are critical a B would be fair. In the end I went with B and hopefully the crew we had can improve over time.
