Working with Christal and Clay Davis on this project was an outstanding experience. The design process with Christal was collaborative and she really listened to what we were looking for in a front yard design. Her willingness to design something a bit out of the ordinary and to guide us on the process was one of the best experiences I’ve encountered. She worked closely with us throughout the design process and often suggested options that kept our plans well within our max budget. Our front yard is beautiful, restful, and expertly crafted thanks to the work Christal, Clay, and their crew did to make Christal’s design a reality. They truly transformed our yard into a modern oasis that we love to spend time in because it reflects us. I never could have imagined how much more we use our front yard now and how lovely it is. We highly recommend their expertise and services. We have been clients of their lawn service for years and are glad we went with them for this landscaping project!

Christal was excellent in that she listened to our thoughts and then made suggestions on plants that would be colorful and thrive in TX with minimal upkeep. There was constant communication throughout the design phase and Clay and crew began the job on time. Both Clay and Christal truly treated our home as it was their own, and we highly recommend Clay's Clippers for your landscaping needs!!

It went extremely well. We had had 2 other companies come out before we had heard of Clay's Clippers, and neither listened to our needs, just proposed massive projects that didn't meet our style and goals. We were referred to Clay's Clippers through a friend, and Christal couldn't have made us feel more important, regardless of our budget and size of the project. She and Clay were always punctual and proactive in reaching out to us whether it was the proposed project, scheduling the work, and updating us before, during and after the landscaping was done. If they weren't happy with a tree they sent it back immediately and had another one out that day or the next, and were there before the delivery to meet the crew and oversee all of the work, down to spending time with my wife and I on the best recommendations to care for the new plants. Love Clay's Clippers, they did great work and well within our budget!

WOW! This team is fabulous. I can't say enough great things. We are so thrilled with our backyard. In the Spring, we'll be redoing our front yard. Good bye to the icky builder stuff, hello fabulous! This team ROCKS! They also installed a large french drain to make sure the no issues due to our yard. I would give them an A+++++ but that rating is not on the chart!!

Stupendous, Fantastic, Awesome, I am so impressed with the work and the look of my new landscaping. I cannot say enough positive things about the process from start to finish. They took my ideas, made suggestions and translated them into exactly what I was looking for. Communication was excellent, I knew what they were going to do, when they were going to do it and how much it was going to cost. Without a doubt Clay's Clippers will be my go to landscapers in the future. Did I mention how happy I am with their work?

Clay, Christal and their crew did a wonderful job of helping us select a design and implementing it. They arrive on the scheduled days and times in a timely manner. They communicated with us everything that was happening. They dropped by when we had a question and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Five Pencil Cedars in the back yard that were blocking sun and just were ugly. Contacted Clay's Clippers. Had a quote within the hour. Scheduled the date and time. His team arrived on the date/time as promised. The trees were gone quicker than expected. Cleaned up after the project...even cleaned off my front walk...they didn't have to do this. They went above and beyond. All in All a great experience. I have Live Oaks that need annual attention. Clay's Clippers will be the first to be called. Excellent!

Christal was very informative and forthcoming during the planning phase. She never tried to push expensive upgrades on us, and gave us the options and the liberty to choose. She not only offered better design ideas regarding the work we had in mind, but also had suggestions about some plants that weren't in good health in our existing garden beds. Clay oversaw the installation, which was flawless, and towards the end, they even fixed our sprinklers and set the system schedule after checking there were no more leaks. Overall, they were professional, reasonable priced, reliable and competent. We'd hire them again in a jiffy if we ever have landscaping needs again.

Christal and Clay were both excellent. I highly recommend them. We have received so many compliments from our neighbors, and it is a delight to arrive home to so many beautiful beds. We had some challenging shade issues in the front as well as intense sun issues in the back. We are thrilled with the final design.

Our experience with Christal and Clay was fantastic! Such great people and easy to work with! We've lived in our house for about 15 years and maintained the original landscaping. Unfortunately over time, even with proper trimming the two Live Oak trees in our rather small front yard shaded our lawn and scrubs so much that we were left with almost no grass and thick tree roots. We were at a point where we needed to call in the professionals to help bring new life to our front and side yard. Christal and Clay were very responsive and with us every step of the way from our initial meeting through the design phase, stone/boulder selection, plant selection and new install. What we appreciated most was their willingness to collaborate as a team, they really had our best interest in mind and helped guide us to the best solution for our project. As a very visual person, it was extremely helpful to see the computer rendering of the landscape design with plants in place prior to install, it made all the difference in the world! For us, this project was along time coming and we couldn't be happier with the results!

They did an excellent job. They walked us through the entire process and listened to what we wanted and ensured we were happy with the designs before moving forward. They were extremely flexible and very professional. Our yard looks amazing and we picked the right company. What a great group of people to work with and they really took the time to give us what we wanted.

Clay was absolutely awesome! Our backyard looks amazing now with all our trees trimmed. We would definitely hire him again!

We had Clay's Clippers remove all of the landscaping at the front of our house. The deep-rooted holly bushes were a bear to remove, but they got the job done. Christal presented a new design and we loved it. The team ripped out the landscaping, cut stone to perfectly fit, planted all the new greenery and even installed a new sprinkler head for us in a day. Wow! Clay, the owner even worked with the team all day in the heat. I really respect that- when owners help the crew out too. That's saying a lot. We love the design and new landscaping! Christal and Clay were great to work with. They listened to our wants and made some suggestions. They truly want their customers to be happy with the work.

Excellent! Christal has such a gift for design and planning and is VERY knowledgeable about plants that do well in our area. My yard has literally been transformed. She truly listened to what I had in mind and designed it perfectly!
