Mike came in and went right to work, provided recommendations on finding fixtures when the ones I'd purchased couldn't be used. Very neat, cleaned up after he was done. Have already scheduled him for additional work!

We purchased a 2 hour Angie's List handyman deal. It was well worth the money because Michael and his assistant completed all the tasks we discussed. Communication was excellent. We initially communicated via the Angie's List message center. However, we also spoke by phone and communicated by text to work out the task list and scheduling. Michael was very friendly and helpful and worked quickly to complete the task list within the 2 hour timeframe. His assistant worked on the caulking while he worked on the other items. We would recommend him again for future handyman work. I suggest customers discuss their task list ahead of time and have any necessary materials available so expectations are met.

Showed up early. Worked quickly. Verified work was completed to satisfaction.

Provider showed up on time and brought a helper. They worked the hours as agreed and started to replace tiles. While in the process of chiseling out the old, they chipped multiple times the neighboring tiles, thus making more damages to the tiles that previously had no damages. When asked why they were chipped and will it be replaced, we were told "NO" and that chipping the nearby tiles was "inevitable". For them to replace what They chipped would be Extra Money! Which doesn't make sense... We hired a fixer to fix the old issues, only to have new issues that needs fixing......overall not happy.

They seemed to work very efficiently and everything looked great when they finished.

Overall good, did several thing in the house including redo the door seal and finishing the base board. Wasn't able to fixing the dishwasher as I wanted, but figured out a way and instructed me to do it on my own.

Good job done, Honest and Very professional. I am happy with the work and definitely will use him again in the future. The only down side is that his responding time is kindof long. Need to be very patient to wait for his replies. I actually used his service twice. First time was in April 2015 when I bought a deal of two hour handyman for $80. Mike did a good job for me both times. Would be happy to recommend him to anyone.

It went great...better than great! Arrived on time..we had bought wrong boards and he had to go purchase new ones and cut down. He did all this in tow hours! Definitely would use again!

The handyman was careful not to allow over spray from the Kilz touch-up spray can. Very meticulous. He made sure his time was fully utilized for the two-hour job.

My only suggestion for customers, is plan your task ahead and keep things ready for him (make a TO DO list). I am very happy with his service and I hight recommend him.

Initially we got off to a rough start. I tried to schedule the visit, but was told that the Handyman for a Day service is not available on weekends, which makes it tough since many of us also work during the week. I highly suggest that this be included in the description. Once we had everything lined up, though, things went well. Mike and his assistant were prompt, courteous, and unfazed by what we asked of them. Mike did most of the higher quality work like drilling the holes in the cabinets. His assistant (sorry, I can't remember his name....Brian maybe?) was clearly still learning and made some mistakes that Mike had to help him correct. Not a big deal and having two people for five hours or so made the deal better than I had originally expected. Mike did make a single mistake with one of the handles, installing it off center. To his credit, he immediately ran down to the store to get a putty and dye to fill in the mis-drilled holes at his on expense. The downside, of course, was that he wasn't on site doing other work and since this was a time-boxed deal, some of that time was spent on repairing the mistake. I'm not saying that I expected perfection, but even still. The repair looks awesome and blends with the cabinetry, so ultimately I am satisfied. Thanks, Mike!

This Big Deal purchase ended up being a contractor in Texas and I'm in Michigan!! We had a big laugh but no work was performed, obviously.

Michael was in communication with me prior to purchasing the Angie's List deal for a handyman for 6.5 hours. He confirmed he was able to complete my projects and advised of his availability prior to me purchasing the deal. He responded to questions about some of the parts I wanted to purchase. He arrived on time for our 9:00 start time. We did a walkthrough of the house and each repair. I prepared a printed list ahead of time and provided him with it. He set up each room with the parts before he began. Master bathroom: 1. Replaced a fixed shower head with a dual fixed and handheld head using a diverter. My fixed head was an 8" inch round and the handheld was a Delta unit. 2. Replaced 2 center set builder's faucets (including stoppers) with 2 wide arc, taller units. 3. Repaired continuously running toilet. Master bedroom: 4. Mounted a 32" tv on the wall. He removed the wall mount from another room's wall and installed it on a wall in the master bedroom. He provided me with 2 options for how to hide the cords. I will review and purchase parts to take care of later. This was a lower priority for me so I did not purchase all the parts ahead of time. Guest bathroom: 5. Replaced a fixed shower head with a handheld head. After installing, the unit leaked from the handle due a manufacturing defect. In lieu of returning to the store today, I had him to put my fixed shower head back up. I ordered the handheld online and the local Home Depot did not have in stock today. 6. Replaced 1 center set builder's faucet (including stopper) also with a wide arc unit. Laundry room: 7. Installed 48? upright track. I previously had 2 upright tracks installed a few years ago by a friend to hold Rubbermaid shelves over the washer and dryer in my laundry/utility room. After a shelf cracked from bowing, I found that I did not read the instructions accurately and mixed the note that these tracks should be no further than 16" apart. I needed 3 tracks instead of 2. Michael installed the extra track for me to prevent further bowing issues. Kitchen: 8. Replaced my GE 1/2 hp garbage disposal with an InSinkErator 3/4 HP Evolution Essential. The garbage disposal jammed a few times and I already wasted a home warranty service call on it. When it jammed again and prevented water from draining, I decided to replace it with a better, quieter model with more horsepower. I know you can manually unjam a garbage disposal but I for one did not want to do it all the time and the motor smelled like it was burning. Michael was able to reuse my power cord and dishwasher connection with the install. The evolution essential was almost twice as big but it fit in the space. 9. Installed 4 Ikea Grundtal steel wall shelves for dish storage. I have a small home and do not have many cabinets. I purchased a used hutch back in December for additional dish storage. It took up too much space. I decided to replace the hutch unit with open shelving. I provided Michael with a picture from Pinterest of the look I wanted and he made it happen. Michael cleaned each area upon completion of the projects for that area. I will definitely use him again. At the end of his visit, we discussed a few additional projects, estimated time to complete, and estimated cost. it was refreshing to have someone deliver on their promises, work efficiently without trying to delay for additional labor hours, have a pleasant demeanor, and clean up when done. This was my first Angie's List deal and it was a good experience for me.

The service was scheduled. The provider called that morning and reconfirmed when he would be there which was within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. He was very helpful in terms of how to get the projects completed and worked quickly. He even had to go to the home improvement store to get some items to work with which took very little time. All the work was professionally done very well and I'm extremely pleased. He was pleasant, worked quickly and he finished within the window of time. I am definitely going to call him again for more work when I have it.
