There was a little mix up regarding the appointment time, but arrived shortly there after. Technician was actually the new owner of the business. Was very professional and thorough. Was careful in keeping the area clean. Gave helpful information regarding type of wood to use and more importantly what type not to use, schedule for having our chimney cleaned, etc. I was very satisfied with his work and the price charged. I will be using Authentic Chimney in the future.

The technician was very clean about his work and he gave me some requested instruction on type of wood to be used to burn and about the best way to light a fire. The work they did was fine. What they wanted to do was more than what we had planned. They cleaned up the fire place and checked the place. They just had to tight some screw. They wanted to come back and do something else, but I did not want to get it done. The main reason I did not call them again was because of their price. The quality of work they did was very good. They came on time. They were very professional.

Prompt, courteous, professional. Cleaned up after himself. Answered questions. Made helpful suggestions.

I wanted to have my chimney cleaned and preferred to hire someone close so I didn't get changed extra for mileage. I made the appointment over a week in advance (my choice) and the technician showed up within the stated time. He was polite and professional. I was unsure if he used mirrors (to check for chimney cracks), but he was quick and nice. Next time I call him I will ask about that. He was done in about 20 minutes and it was below my quote. I asked him about some dry rot on the outside of the chimney, but he said he didn't do that, but gave me the name of someone who does. So if you want more than just a sweep, you may need to call someone else. I will call them again.

I was so worried that dust and ash was going to get all over the place. They were so clean and efficient that, that never happened. They put the chimney cap on to keep the birds from getting into the chimney and building nests. What a great bunch of hard workers.
