Original quote given in March was for $38,000, final cost was $60,000. Originally stated job would take 3-4 week., we stopped the work in the 19th week. Started work first part of May. There were some wiring issues which requited correction so things slowed down. We decided to change one window to a smaller size - since everything was torn up anyway. Also, decided to replace two windows - no size change. In June, we were informed the cabinetry would cost $2000. more than originally quoted. In June changed quote to $55,000. Work progressed very slow. The crew was pulled off to work other jobs on a regular basis. Mid-July, I finally had my kitchen back. However, the work still wasn't done. In July, with lots of details left to be done, we wanted the laundry room tiled and painted. They had left the last row of tile undone where it met the laundry room door. The laundry room is a small room and needed to be re-tiled to match the family room and that last row of tile could be finished. The walls also needed to be repainted and we want to replace the window to match the other new windows. In mid-September, we cancelled the job. They were very angry and not very civil. On September 23rd, they emailed the final invoice dated September 20. Grand total $60,000. We decided not to debate it, i just wanted these people out of my life and get the job finished. They started to demand payment within days of sending the invoice, although they know it takes me a week or more to get the funds. We have hired someone else to finish the work. I know they will respond and say this was all our fault, because we added the windows and laundry room. But, those are minor issues. At first we were excited, but as time dragged on, we became discouraged. The final invoice was a shock. I hope they are happy. I would say "Buyer Beware".

They are on time and they help us get the most for our money. I feel like they have integrity and that their word is something you can count on. I like that they offer suggestions and ideas that aren't so expensive.
