Description of Work: My overall experience with appliance people over the years has not been good. So when Larry showed up I was not expecting much. But to my surprise and pleasure I found him to be just the most honest, very knowledgable, decent down right lovely to deal with. He has been to my house twice in the last year and my experience both times have been absolutely great! For my appliances, I will not consider anyone but him. I have recommended him to my family and friends. He is our go to guy for any appliance repairs!

Description of Work: We started using Abel right after the warranty expired on our new Whirlpool appliance. The ice maker kept freezing up and would jam the cubes in the tray. On the third visit, Larry contacted Whirlpool to see if they recommended he install a new ice maker. They told him if he did, they would not warantee it (great customer service from Whirlpool). On the next visit, Jordan, Larry's son actually showed me how to fix the issue. Super young guy and a credit to his dad. After 3.5 years of service, we were no longer able to use the ice cubes nor drink the water due to strange taste and odor. Contacted Whirlpool who told us the water line probably needed replacement. Called Abel once again and Larry advised us to trash the old one and get new one. We followed his advice. How honest is that! Would recommend this company to anyone without hesitation.

Description of Work: The service was provided by ATEX. Will, the company owner, was on time, courteous, and professional. He replaced a leaky drain pan for the refrigerator. I had warranty service done in 2012 for a leaky drain pan and Will explained that the drain pan was not replaced but the crack had been taped up. Problem solved and I am satisfied with the service.

Description of Work: Abel Appliance Repair came to my parent's home almost immediately as their washing machine was not operating. The company is family-owned and operated and the technician was part of the Abel family, I believe. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional and understood immediately what was wrong with the washer. The best part was the honest feedback I received. He said there was nothing wrong with the machine and that instead of spending a lot of money on a "repair," he could just modify a few features. He performed his work and the machine has worked perfectly since then without any issues. The best part was their honesty and fair price as they only charged for the service call. I would use Abel Appliance again in a heart beat!!! Thanks for the great customer service.
