It went very well. He came out the same day that I called and did great work.

It was great. He came when he said he would come. It didn?t take a lot of time and he was professional.

It was great. They fixed a problem where I thought I would have to spend $8000 on a new refrigerator and they fixed it for $70.

He was very nice and very accommodating but careless. I had to call him back because some of the work was left undone. I maybe would use him in the future.

I spoke with Mr. Garner on the phone this morning because the freezer section of my refrigerator wasn't working. He spent a lot of time on the phone with me diagnosing my problem and told that it sounded like a big repair since the brand I bought was not a very reliable brand and had a typical lifespan of only a few years. He did offer to come to the house if I wanted him to but I decided not to spend the money. He wanted to save me all that he could and gave me some recommendations of the brands of refrigerators to look at for replacement. He was very helpful, very professional and patiently answered all my questions. I give him the highest marks available when he said "he had to live with himself and didn't want to take advantage of anyone". Kudos, Mr. Garner

The tech's prognosis: it's not worth repairing. He could try to repair it, but it would take time and materials, and while it would likely work, it probably wasn't worth it. I asked for recommendations for a replacement -- he suggested a type and brand, which we went and bought the next day. Rather than try to sell us services or parts we don't need, he was honest, straightforward, and really wanted to help. I will absolutely use them again!

Called on Wednesday and schedule appt. for Friday. Arrived within time window I was given. Told me motor on dryer went out. Suggested getting a new dryer it is over 15 years old. He said could get a motor for it and repair it which I went with. He also noticed that gasket on drum was going out and also need to be replaced. He took the drum with him because he said the new gasket had to be glued on and took 24 hours to dry. He said would come back out on Saturday. They were not able to come out on Saturday because the glue on the gasket was not dry. They asked what time they could out out tomorrow which was Sunday! They came out on Sunday, installed drum and new motor. He also noticed a problem with the washer, which he also repaired. To be fair there were a couple of very minor issues. On Sunday he got the time mixed up on when he was coming out and also lost the invoice with my address. They called and both were handled over the phone. Since he was coming out on Sunday was not a big deal to me. I usually call Sears since our appliances are Kenmore but they could not come out for several days. Sear's service charge is also double what I paid. I highly recommend using Abel Appliance Repair.

Refrigerator's freezer was not staying frozen, so I called this service company for help. Not an emergency, so we scheduled for them to check on my refrigerator the next day. Arrived on schedule and immediately identified the problem - he knew exactly what had happened and how to repair it. Unfortunately, our refrigerator model is not a common one and he did not have a replacement computer control card for our dual compressor model. He ordered one, got it within 3 work days, came back and put the new one in. Evidently that fixed the problem, as our freezer section has worked fine for 3 weeks now.

could not have been more pleased. I called Mr Garner and explained the situation with my side by side refrigrator and related that I had a home child care and fixing the crankie fridge was really important. He said he understood and would come in short order which, he did. He was so pleasant, quick, efficient and explained to us what the problem was. He fixed the situation with the refrigerator and explained what we should do to prevent it from happening again. I would tell everyone about him and recommend him to everyonw.

I called him at 7 PM to descrbe my problem and to ask what availablity he had He talked to me and estimated what the problem was He provided options and estimates on the options He was willing to come that night and did come He fixed the problem in about 7-10 minutes, he chagred what he stated that he would charge, no surprises. He left.

I was having trouble with my washing machine and called this company to arrange a service call. When I told him the maker of the washing machine, he advised that it would be better to purchase a new washer than try to get this one fixed. I was on the wire of even calling to see if it could be fixed and so appreciated his honesty to tell me it wasn't worth it than to come to my house, charge me a service call and then tell me the same thing he did over the phone. This is an honest company and I can trust from now on out to fix all my appliances and I recommend him to others. No lying, no cheating, just honest reliable is what I personally feel about this company.

My ice maker was not making ice and not cooling properly, so I called Abel Appliance spoke to an actual person and not through a call center. Larry booked my appt. and was here at designated time. I would recommend Larry or Abel Appliance Repair for any major appliance repair for your home. Very pleased with service.
