He showed up on time, had the part and fixed it in no time. He did try to sell anything or charge more. Simple, quick job for the quoted amount.

Larry, the owner, was responsive, punctual, fair and competent. Fixed my fridge same day at a reasonable price and I am very happy. He will definitely have my repeat business and I have referred him to two others so far as well. Great job!

Whirlpool Washer would stop its cycle just before the drain stage. I called Larry around 7:30 am an told him the problem. He came out by noon and fixed the problem immediately. He is professional and was not out to overcharge us. I was happy with the quick response and what I feel to be a reasonable price.

It went great. Able answered quickly, and came the next day. Work done fast.

I am so pleased with the service I received from Abel Appliance Repair. I called on a Friday and service was scheduled for the next day, Saturday morning. Larry showed me the problems with each unit so I could fully understand the problem with each one. The GE needed a valve and wasn't getting enough water. He pointed out that the valve replacement would also cut out the chugging noise that had actually started AFTER I had this unit repaired a year ago with another company. The KitchenAid required a new motor which he fortunately had in his truck and therefore didn't have to order. He was so professional, efficient and a really nice person. I would definitely use his services again!

These guys are great! When I got home from work my wife informed me that our 10 year old Whirpool dryer was no longer heating. Went to Angie's list and found Abel Appliance Repair. I called them on Friday night figuring I would just leave a message and hopefully someone would call me back over the weekend to schedule an appointment. To my surprise a technician answered the phone and took down the information. He said someone would call me back in the morning. Around 9:30 a.m. Tony called and said he would be out later in the afternoon. They arrived at my house around 5:00 p.m. and immediately found the problem. Apparently, over the years, a lint build up had caused the dyer's heating element to over heat. Fortunately it didn't start a fire. I was at work when they came over and my wife said Tony was very professional and knowledgeable. I thought the price was reasonable and considering we were back washing cloths within 24 hours don't know how I could have asked for any better service.

Very well. Unfortunately for them, it took them a couple of trips as they had to order the wire harness once it was discovered to complete the repair. Would use them again and recommend them to others as an honest service provider.

Couldn't have gone better - again, they were able to assist me over the phone, without having to actually schedule a service call. They had no idea who I was-- it's not like I was a past customer or anything-- but they still steered me in the right direction because it was the right thing to do.

Provide fast service and gave accurate estimate of cost for repair over the phone. He arrived at time he estimated and was very professional.

Their service was very good. They were very responsive and easy to work with. I called Saturday morning and they came right out. They were able to get it in operation again so everything didn’t melt.

Their service was excellent. It was late. He came out at 8:30-9 at night. They knew my refrigerator was out. They did check with me about coming that late. I had lost all the food in my freezer. They were able to fix it. He had it running in 30 minutes. I did need a new compressor. I was real pleased with them. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

He was awesome. He was professional and on time. He presented himself professionally. He takes credit cards and processes them on site. He is very communicative. He had to ask to reschedule the appointment. I was pleased with his service. I would use him again and recommend him to others.

On a Saturday morning, my refrigerator started making a clicking noise and did not seem to cool down. Around 9:30 AM I called and talked with the owner and he agreed to try to come by the house to take a look before I had to leave the house at around 2:00 PM. He called around noon and said that was close by. Once in the house it took him less than 5 minutes to figure out that the computer had to be replaced. He had the part in his van and after 10 minutes the refrigerator was back up running. I appreciated his quick response and chat about different appliance makers. He has being in the business for a long time and next time I might try to pick his brain for a recommendation before purchasing a new appliance. Thank you!

Larry arrived on time, checked to make sure what was wrong, fixed the refrigerator and working like new, cleaned up work area, can't say enough good things about him.

AWESOME!!!! The owner Larry is a hoot. Very honest and down to earth. Will tell you exactly what needs to be done and doesn't try to sell you anything you don't need. He worked me in his very busy schedule the first day and when I called the second day telling him that there was another another problem again he worked me in his schedule, came and fixed the problem at no charge. - who does this in today's economy????

We have used twice in the past year and he solved both problems. The prices are great, he is outstanding in work and his cost. I have recommend him to many people.

I was notified by the tenant that the refrigerator stopped working Monday. I had to scramble to find someone to fix it. I found Larry?s contact on Angie?s list and noticed that people have a lot of good things to say about him. I called Tuesday and scheduled an appointment for Wednesday. When Larry called on Wednesday, I had to take my son to his gymnastics class Wednesday so I told Larry to go meet the tenant himself. Larry called me shortly after and explained to me his diagnosis and cost. I thought it was very reasonable. He replaced the electrical component that failed and frig started working like new. My tenant is very happy. Larry is a professional who?s very good at what does. He explains the problems and possible remedies very well. Larry will only charge $70 trip fee if he can?t fix or his recommendation won?t work. I wish everything was this easy.

He was good at following up. He came out when he said he would. He only charged me for a service fee since the parts were not able to be replaced. He sent me a Thank You card.

Extremely pleasant to work with on appointment scheduling and service call. Was very quick and professional. Explained to me exactly what was wrong and what needed to be done for repair. He even cleaned out the scale buildup inside the machine without charging me. Very nice man. Great job!

Larry was terrific! He was right on time, knew exactly what to look for, found the problem within five minutes and fixed it within an hour. He had the part he needed for my 13 year old unit . Larry is knowledgable, professional, and courteous. If I need another repair, I won't hesitate to call him. Highly recommended.

I called Larry, who came same day to fix our Microwave. Not only is the type of microwave we have difficult to work on, I had a short amount of time available for Larry to complete the fix. Not only did Larry try to help me understand the most cost effective way to go about fixing the appliance, he was very dedicated to fixing within my timeframe. He completed the work successfully and was one of the most professional people I'd ever worked with. I highly recommend his services.

Larry is such a nice professional man. He showed a lot of patience as his phone kept ringing while he was working. He fully checked and serviced the refrigerator. He determined it was the computer board that was bad . Larry had a replacement on his truck. With all the different types, models etc.. I was impressed that he said "I carry quite an assortment of parts for different service calls. I was glad because I had to unplug the unit and had just bought food. Basically Larry knows his stuff and is very good. Inf you read this comment, please call him. Larry is a very fair man.
