Description of Work: Excellent service. Larry is personable and professional.

Description of Work: I spoke to Larry Monday morning and he was at me home that afternoon. I had two refrigerators for him to look at. He fixed my first one right away and did a trial test on my second one. He called the next day to see if test worked, which it had not. He came the next day and located problem immediately. Problem fixed. Larry was prompt, professional and quick; even my husband was impressed!!!

Description of Work: Replaced the computer in our refrigerator. Even though it is an older refrigerator (9- 10 years), it is working wonderfully. We do not have all of the bells and whistles (water & ice in door), so we rarely have problems and have no problem with the compressor.

Description of Work: Lower coil in oven shorted out. Gave Abel's the serial number. Their employee (very nice young man who was just out of the military about three mos or so) showed up with the item with a couple of days of having given them the serial number. Removed a couple of screws, put in the new one, and voila, my oven was working again! I was asking him about what type of other appliances his company works on. Mentioned that my refrigerator ice maker had not worked in a couple of years. I had called my home warranty company when it first shut down. Was told icemaker was not covered. Replied that they had replaced once before? Then was told that was a "mistake". (That's one of the reasons I cancelled my policy with them.)Well anyway. Abel's guy went over to fridge and took a look at it. He told me that he would take a photo of it with his cel fon before he left in order to be able to look up the part in order to give me a quote. He happen to noticed that the icemaker was turned off! He turned back on and it has worked beautifully since. I know that makes me look pretty dumb, but I had also had a guy from Sears come out to look at it. He told me could not be repaired and that a new icemarker would cost between $200-$300! He was nice enough to not charge me for the service since he was only here for about five to ten minutes. Also, I rec'd a thank you note from this company. When's the last time someone was nice enough to take the time to thank you for your business?

Description of Work: Called Abel and talked with the owner, Larry. He's a great guy, very knowledgable, respectable, and punctual. He came right out that day to take a look at our fridge. Rather than charging us for the full trip charge, he cut us a deal b/c he told us our frideg actually was still under its 5yr sealed system warranty and i Should call Samsung directly. Not only did he not screw us when he could have, he provided valuable info that enabled us to eventually get a FULL refund from Samsung! I'll be calling Larry for every appliance repair in the future!

Description of Work: The repairman worked me in although I called on the weekend, when the schedule for the day was already set. He was prompt, very professional, well groomed, He was very knowledgable and I feel advised me in a fair manner giving good advice. He was recommended by my daughter and I was completely pleased with his advice - (my washing machine could be repaired however, would cost more to repair than what it is worth). I am well pleased with Abel Appliance and would highly recommend them. Also, pricing was very fair.

Description of Work: My ice maker quit working. I had tried fixing it my self and it still just was broken. I called this company and Larry changed out my Ice maker for a new one. He was great! He also fixed a water delivery problem that was also causing problems.

Description of Work: We awoke one very hot Saturday morning to find our refrigerator off and pudlles everywhere. After doing a search of Angie's List I called Larry at Abel Appliance Repair . even though it was a Saturday morning he arrived in short order and had the frig runing in no time. He explained all of the possiblilties carefully , gave us an honest assessment . a guarantee and a great feeling after it was finished. LArry even sent US a thank you card for calling him for the job . I will not call anyone else you can be sure. Thanks Larry and thank you Angie's List for helping us find him !

Description of Work: He came out to repair washer- it was making a loud noise and stopped working. I've used this company before for an icemaker- both jobs were done quickly, within a reasonable amount of time from the original phone call and both items are still working( months later)

Description of Work: Larry Garner came and repaired the fan on the refrigerator in my garage. He did a great job (it cooled right down!) and in very difficult conditions -- it was at least 110 degrees in my garage! I have used Larry before and trust him to tell me whether something is worth repairing or should be replaced. Finding a repair person who can be relied on for that is like finding a gold mine! I won't use anyone else.
