911 Appliance Repair

I was told they would be here within 45 minutes. Two hours later, I contacted them and they said they couldn't make it until the next day. Chris and his son showed up at 8:30. He said it was the compressor. They went and picked up the compressor and installed. I was told the water bottle he placed in the freezer should be frozen solid by 5 pm. It was still water at 5 and he said perhaps it would take a little longer. The freezer did go from 30 degrees to 20 degrees the next morning. He said he'd be here by 3 pm. He never showed and stopped answering my texts and calls. Eventually, the items in the freezer did freeze, but it still does not go below 15 degrees. Therefore, the ice maker isn't working and things like ice cream don't keep. He did not email me the warranty as promised.

Very timely and listened to my concerns. Listened and went above and beyond.

About 15 minutes after looking for qualified appliance repair companies on Angie's List, I got a call from 911 Appliance Repair. (Almost like a miracle!) Alex asked me some questions, told me what a service call would cost (not parts or labor) & said he could have a technician out in about an hour. Indeed, Carlos arrived in that time frame. Although the washer was only 5 years old, the hubs & I weighed the option of having it repaired or the time/cost of purchasing a new one. We chose to have it repaired. Carlos was very nice, even putting covers on his shoes before coming in. I would definitely recommend 911 Appliance Repair & IF there's a next time, I'll ask for Carlos! Thank you, gentleman!
