Pete's Home Repair and Handyman Service

Not much more than I can say than what I did above. Pete was timely and took his time to do the work. This is the third or fourth time we have used him and have always been pleased with his punctuality and this work.

The job went very well. Pete was on-time and is knowledgeable. He proposed a solution and was available the next morning to perform the work. The work was performed as expected. Pete also recommended a drywaller to patch the drywall that was ruined by the water leak. We are going to use Pete to install a new back door.

I just moved into a new home and needed some hanging of pictures and install of new ceiling fans and tvs. Did an excellant job.

When I first called Pete, he told me it would be at least a week before he could get to us. It was about a week and a half before he got here, but we kept in touch during that time. He called today and wanted to come by. I thought it was just to see what needed to be done, even though I had provided pictures for him. He arrived ready to do the jobs. He was quick and efficient and did the kind of job we expected. This is the second time we have used him. Both have been small jobs for him, but he has managed to work us in between his larger jobs. We appreciate that he does the small chores we have had for him. Not sure I could find another reliable person to do as good a job as he does. We appreciate his work.

Pete responded quickly to my email and showed up soon after and on time to give me my estimate. He was booked up for the next 10 days and then we had some scheduling issues that were beyond his control, but once he showed up to do the work, he worked quickly and efficiently and even reduced the price a bit to compensate for the scheduling difficulty. He saved me some money, even though it reduced his workload (and therefore his compensation) by repairing a fixture rather than replacing it. Also, I was out of town when he finished up, and he contacted me to verify how I wanted a job completed and to let me know that the part I had purchased would not solve the problem in the way I had wanted. He offered to go to the store and return the wrong part for the correct one for no extra cost, so that when I returned from my trip, everything would be finished. It is nice to have these small annoying things finally fixed and I will definitely use Pete in the future.

Even though Pete is booked for three weeks, he said since it was a small job, he would come at the end of the day and do it . He did exactly what he said he was going to do at a very reasonable price. I have many future projects that need to be done and he will be the one I call on!

After his work, they all looked brand new. He was on time to fix everything the inspector had got a problem with.

I found him through Angie's list. We called them to do paintings and windows. The cost was reasonable. What I liked about him is that he was honest and a good communicator. He is always booked.

Pete responded to my inquiry within a day. We set a time for him to come by to see what was needed and to give an estimate. He said it was the smallest job he had ever done. He got the parts and called and arranged to come by to do the installation. It took him about 30 minutes at the most to do it. I felt bad that it was his smallest job ever and that he took time out of his schedule to do it and do it right. I ended up paying him an extra $10 for his trouble.

He did a FANTASTIC job, I would refer anyone I know to him. He was fast, efficient and very reasonable. He did an outstanding job for us. We look forward to using him again.

It went great! Pete was punctual, fast, and meticulous. He went above and beyond , by doing a lot of extra things that I didn't even request. He worked me into his busy schedule earlier than we had anticipated and he stayed late and finished the job, all in the same day for us. We would definitely use him again, and will be recommending him to our friends and neighbors.

Pete came by exactly when he said he would to bid the job. He gave me an exact bid for labor and said he would bring the receipt for the cost of materials. He then set up a time/day for the job. He was exactly on time and did a great job with great efficiency. I plan on using him for anything that we need in the future.

He had a few small things to do. He did not hold me to an 8 hour contract. Some handymen companies want you to have 8 hours worth of work. He did the specific job that I needed to have done and he had no problem. His price was excellent.

Overall rating for this job: Excellent. Details: Pete had to postpone the original appointment time due to unexpected rain delaying other jobs. He contacted me and we were able to work out a new time, no problems. He was punctual, and did what we had agreed over the phone, for the quoted cost. Pete did an extra task as part of the job, at no extra cost: There was a large wall mirror over the vanity top, and I did not know the mirror was supported by the vanity. Pete had to remove and set-aside the mirror to remove the vanity. After he removed the vanity, Pete took extra time to safely prop-up the mirror against the wall so it wouldn't fall over and break.

Pete did a great job. I was a first time customer and called based on Angie's list. We had a relative attempt to do this and fail, so I was concerned. I hovered the entire time and Pete explained everything, installed the new vent and cleaned-up. We will use him again!

I'm a first-time customer. Pete was booked for the next 12 days. But he answered my call, reviewed the job, gave me an estimate, and did the work, all in one day. Because HOA was on my case to fix it, Pete worked me in and got it done. Work was good, price was good, handled the services very professionally, and his quick response was exceptional. I would use him again.

My husband was having a hard time getting to some things around the house, so I contacted Pete. Pete came out and was able to complete these for a very reasonable price. We will definitely be calling him again in the future. Pete installed 2 light fixtures, a shelf, 2 curtain rods, and a small bathroom fixture. He only charged $75, but I paid him $115, for the amount of work he did and his time on a Sunday. Thanks Pete!
