Friendswood Firewood was the low bidder. They agreed to do the work on the day I requested. They arrived on schedule, and were done in 2 hours. The stump grinding crew arrived within a few minutes, and completed their work quickly.

Called for estimate. Received estimate same day. Service was complete within the week.

After reviewing Angie's list I selected Friendswood Firewood. Good reports. I called for an estimate and a representative arrived at my door that day. I live in Friendswood so I was glad to see this quick response. The price was fair and the work was scheduled for the following week. The actual date was sort of 'open ended' as they explained they had several jobs stacked, but since it was not necessary for me to be there for access, they would start just as soon as they could. And start they did... I was awoken one day at 7:00 am with the sound of chainsaws !! It was quite remarkable. In a few short hours, the job was complete and EVERYTHING was cleaned up. The crew worked as a team - each knowing exactly what to do. One man climbed high into the trees, 2 helped him from the ground and 2 more were making sure nothing was broken around the yard and tended to the debris removal. A chipper truck was in front of the house to make short work of all the limbs. All and all, I was very pleased with the work and the crew - Most professional.

They do a great job. They clean up the mess behind them. We have used them many times.

I have two trees approximately 9 years old. They have gotten too tall for me to trim myself so I called FF. He went to my house and gave me a quote that I thought was reasonable. So, I told him to go ahead and do the work. He trimmed the trees and shaped them up and cleaned everything before I got home from work. I was very pleased with the job and I'll be calling them next time to do the same.

Work performed while I was away at my job, so I did not see the actions. However, the final state was about what I expected.

They came out and did their work while I was at work. I saw them pulling out with all the limbs and tree parts as I came home from work. Their manager came out and picked up the check the next day. Very professional and courteous.

Wow! Did this company do a great job, or what? They were prompt and efficient. We were quoted $800.00 to do the work that Friendwood Firewood Company did. I love the fact that they mulch the wood that was trimmed from our trees. Talk about Green!

The pruning and cleanup were done well. The men were on time and worked steadily. I am very happy with the tree work. Unfortunately as they dragged the tree limbs out of the backyard they literally smashed down a large bed of impatiens. Many are completely broken. None of the men (including the one in charge) spoke to me about it. When a man showed up to take my check he asked me how the job went, I said- good, but they smashed a bed of impatiens. He said- I'm sorry. He did not even ask to see the damage his crew had done to my landscape. This was completely avoidable. All they had to do was raise the tree limbs up for those few yards.

They came quickly to provide an estimate and did the work in a little over a week. The crew was professional and cleaned up the work site perfectly. We could not have asked for any better service.

He must have done a really good job because all my neighbors remark how beautiful my tree looks. Although, I wouldn't use them again because I think the owner charges way too much.
