Budget Landscaping

We have used Jeff multiple times for landscaping homes and business. He truly has an "eye" for placement of plants and trees. His crew is exceptional. They are courteous, respectful and they clean the workplace daily. Jeff is on-site every day and is very responsive to our needs and wants.

Great experience with Jeff. He is very responsive, and listened to what I wanted done in my yard. He had great suggestions. Final product was just what I wanted. Fair price.

We have been using Budget Landscaping for a number of years now. They completely re-landscaped our front beds, and we now have them come in to clean up and mulch everything for us. Courteous and professional. Great price.

Everything went well. The men worked quickly. Edging stones look like brand new.

I called and spoke with Jeff about the need of front and backyard landscaping, including a new patio and sprinkler system. He said that they do flagstone patios often and that helps with the cost of the landscaping job. I told him that I didn't want a flagstone patio because of my budget, and he said that was fine, we could look at other options. We scheduled a time to meet, and I took time off from work. When he came to my door, he brought flagstone samples for patios. I again told him that was not what I wanted. We went around my yard, discussing plant ideas, the size and shape of the patio, other options for patio materials, and pricing of those patio options. I said that I would email the short notes of plants that I like and dislike as well as a copy the plot survey with dimensions. I emailed those things to him that evening. I never heard from Jeff, again. In my opinion, this demonstrates that Jeff did not listen to me, and his lack of response demonstrates unprofessionalism as well as poor communication skills.

Found Budget Landscaping on Angie's List and went to the company's website. Submitted electronic contact form and within hours Jeff, the owner, contacted me. He was very professional and was even willing to come out the next day (which was a Saturday no less) to provide a quote. He thoroughly explained what work was necessary and even provided some suggestions - like placing river rock with flagstone steps (easier on bare feet) around the pool equipment pad so that no mowing is required. When it was time to start work, his crew showed up in the morning and had completed all of the work by late afternoon. During the entire process he provided frequent updates. A complete pleasure to work with! Total services: installation of 3 pallets of sod with proper ground preparation; edging with ~4 wheelbarrows of river rock around pool equipment pad; extended pool overflow drain (approx 30' run)

I have been using Budget Landscaping since 2003. The owner of the company (Jeff) is fantastic to work with!!!! He personally comes out and will give you a bid on what you are needing done to your yard. He is very knowledgeable in the field and helps me determine what items are best for my yard. We moved to a new house and he was nice enough to walk around my yard and point out what we had, the names of the plants, and how to take care of them. He is super fantastic. And his employees are WONDERFUL! He has been using the same guys for the 10 years I have had him doing our landscaping. The employees are courteous, respectful (they don't leave trash in the yard), and I never have to worry about them being at my house. On several occasions Budget Landscaping was able to squeeze me in for a clean up right before a big event we were holding at our house. He goes WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND! I cannot say enough good things about this company and their employees. They get an A+++++ in my book. Now I gave them a B on price (although I think they really deserve like an A-) because they cost a little more than other companies. But you get what you pay for. I have tried those companies that charge half what he charges only to find that I have to call him to fix the mess they made. Then I end up paying more in the long run. I am willing to pay a little more with Budget Landscaping for excellent services and the piece of mind that I don't have to be at the house and babysit them. They know what to do and get it done right...the first time.

Budget did a great job with the design. They stayed within budget. They kept their timeline for the installation of the landscaping. They did great on the work but a little less on getting back with the estimates.
