Great. Everything done in 1 day and well runs perfectly, again. The only reason the price is a "B" is because, I would have preferred it to be cheaper, but it was well worth it.
Description of Work: our entire water well had to be pulled and all the piping had to replaced....all 500 feet.

I had many bad experiences with every type of contractor imaginable in the ten years before I started doing business with Kneese Companies. Contractors did shoddy work, were unreliable, told me lies, charged me for work they did not do, and sometimes, did not complete work they were contracted to do. This kind of work ethic is rampant in this part of Texas because there has been so much building growth that anybody with a hammer could get into the business. Since I have been doing business with Bruce Kneese, I will not use anybody else if I can avoid it. Bruce has a whole range of subcontractors who are reliable because he won't let them work for him if the aren't. I cannot say enough good things about Bruce and his associates and employees. I absolutely love the man for the way he conducts his business. Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't even get competing bids anymore, because, even though Bruce MAY charge a little more, It is ultimately cost-effective to get him to do the job just to be sure the work is done right, and on time. I have not heard one bad thing about him from anybody who has ever done business with him or his companies. One thing that Bruce has figured out that is so different from most contractors is that it is best to get on the job and stay until it is finished, instead of sending his men out to work half a day and then send them to try to make another customer happy. NOBODY is happy when they work that way, and the contractor ends up spending a lot of his payroll money to his men for just packing and unpacking tools and equipment, and running up and down the highway. What a refreshing difference in the way Bruce and his associates do the job! They show up with the right materials and equipment and get the job done. Bruce Kneese is a little rough around the edges, speaks straight, and tells you if he can't do something, but I like that in a contractor, because you always know where you stand with him. Another thing I like about Bruce is, that if something comes up, which it occasionally does, (weather, etc), Bruce calls to let me know instead of leaving me wondering if he forgot me, or whatever. I appreciate that, because it then allows me to get on with my day instead of having to hang around to answer questions, etc. On the few occasions I've had an issue with something, Bruce doesn't maker excuses or argue with me. He listens, tells me what he is going to do to make it right, and then sees to it that it gets done to my liking. A few of years ago, Bruce had a young carpenter, son of one of his longtime employees, who built a set of steps for a porch. Bruce was out to check on the job, and when I showed him the steps, we both had a good laugh at the terrible job that had been done. Bruce told me that it was the first set of steps this kid had done, and then he told me that it would be done over, to my liking. The kid did it right the second time. Lesson learned.
Description of Work: Kneese Companies are actually at least 3 different companies. There is Kneese Plumbing, Kneese Metal Buildings, and Kneese & Sons Construction, all of which I have actually done a lot of business with. Bruce Kneese owns all of these businesses, as well as a plumbing and welding supply store, a floor covering store, and a water well repair business, but I have not done any business with the last 3. Over the last several years, Bruce's companies have built a 50'X50' metal barn, a small house currently used as a B&B, a replacement metal staircase, replaced a rotten roof and added all new plumbing to a 100 year old house, and is currently building yet another small house.
