The price was a little high but that’s how things are out here in Fredericksburg. It’s expensive.
Description of Work: Hill Country Gardens put in all new sods for me and did put in some plants and also some rock work. They are landscapers.

Overall they performed the job but it took significantly longer than we were lead to believe. In addition, the owner was generally not on site and typically did not return calls or emails. Not very responsive to concerns about details that arose after completion of the project.
Description of Work: Removed old lawn, some trees and bushes. Installed new sandstone patio and completely landscaped (xeroscaped) most of the yard including planting bushes, etc.

I always return calls and emails. The completion of some projects is completely dependent upon weather. On this job in particular we moved 2000 lb + blocks into the back yard without tractor access, requiring dry conditions. After this job was completed the client wanted us to return to add a steel border that was not appropriate in the front yard for the intended purpose. In this situation I declined to do that given that we are dedicated to quality, function and visual appeal of what we install. The clients expressed that they were pleased with the job prior to they requested that I do something I was not willing to do.
