Veterans Mobile Lawnmower Repair Service

How this guy stays in business is beyond me. Harold specifically told me that if I had any problems with my mower, that he guanteed his work and would return if I had any problems. The very next time I started the mower, it was back exactly the way it was before he and quot;fixedand quot; it. I called him and he returned to fix the mower. After about 5 minutes he announced that I had a bad solenoid and that he would order it and have it delivered directly to my house. After 2 weeks with no part and no mower I called him and he agreed to come out the next day and fix the mower. He never showed up. After numerous calls I finally got in touch with him and he said that he had been and quot;sickand quot;. No call to say he would not be able to make the appt. He agreed to come out the next morning and fix the mower. He never showed up. Now he will not return any of my calls.

When I contacted the company and spoke with the owner we set an appointment. The appointment was not kept by the company and no call was made to inform me that they were unable to keep the appointment. After several attempts, I was able to speak to the owner again and was simply told and quot;they couldn't make it.and quot;

I called the company's answering service which promises and quot;next day service.and quot; I received a phone call later that day advising that he would be unable to provide next day service due to him already having a job scheduled. We scheduled the time for the following Saturday (today) and he never showed. I called his answering machine after half an hour and asked him to contact me if for some reason he was not going to make his appointment. He has yet to contact me and it has been almost an hour and a half. I will take my business elsewhere.

Mr. Lyons showed up on time and promptly identified what needed to be done to complete servicing the lawnmower. He advised against having him attempt to repair my weedeater - something I truly appreciate because the parts were going to cost more than a new model.

Mr. Lyons arrived a day later, replaced the switch, and made sure I tested it out. He's quick and dependable--and kind.

The technician was a little hard to understand over the phone and he had to come back once, but the overall experience was positive. He showed up on time (both the first and second times) and was professional. He even gave me some tips (that were not in the owners manual) on maintaining my mower. Price and punctuality were MUCH better than Sears.

Excellent, and he provided a 30 day warranty.

This is great! I didn't have to load up the chipper/shredder and haul it to and from a repair shop. He came and did the repair the next day. No waiting weeeeeeeeeeks for the repair shop to get to it. I called and it was ready to work again within days. Fantastic.

I called when they were 35 minutes late and was told they would be here soon. At one hour late and at two hours late, I called and left voice messages, and never heard from them at all (it is now 5 hours past the appt time, but no call). Disappointing, as other reviews say how nice and capable they are here, but if you don't show up at all, that's not good.

Called them this morning and left a message. He called within an hour, was at my house in less than a hour and completed the work on my lawnmower in thirty minutes. Can't beat that kind of service

Left message Sunday at Noon. Received a response a few hours later. Set an appointment for the following Wednesday morning. Arrived early and started working immediately. Finished in an hour or so and had recommendations for maintenance going forward. About as good as it gets for me.

We made the appointment on a Friday for the next day at 10 am. He did not show...did not call to cancel. I called about an hour after his appointment time (that he set) and got no answer. I left a message, but never received a call back. Considering that I cancelled a pick up for my lawnmawer becuase he was going to work on it sooner, I think it was very rude and unprofessional to not even call to explain and possibly set a new time.

They were very good. They would come to your house to repair lawn mowers.

They didn't show up.

I called and left a message for Harold on 4/22. He called a few hours later and said he would be out to fix on 4/24 at 11:00AM. My wife was home waiting for him to show. No show, no call. She left another message, but no response. I'm so fed up with these service people in Texas who can't even bother to call if they're not going to show up. This has happened on many occasions with other services-just very frustrating. He was very pleasant when I did talk to him though. Business must be too good-or they don't need the money

My mower had not been used in several years and wouldn't start. After trying everything I knew to get it going, I called Mr. Lyons of Veteran's Mobile Lawnmower. He came out the next day and had the mower going in less than thirty minutes. The best part was I didn't have to take the mower somewhere for repairs!

Overall I would use Harold again. The price was right and he really knows his stuff. I will agree with the last review and say it took him awhile to call me back after my initial call (3 days) but other than that he showed up when schedule and even a little early.

I placed my original call to Harold at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 8, 2010 and left a message telling him I needed his services. Harold did not return the call. I called Harold again on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 12:10 p.m. and left another message saying I needed his services. I received a return call from Harold mid-morning on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 saying he would be out on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. I arranged to have someone be at the house all day to meet Harold in case he was running late. As of 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2010 Harold has not shown up or called.

The service was completed in a timely manner (30 minutes) and my mower runs like a champ. Harold filled the gas tank up, evne though we did not mow.

Our riding mower has been down for about 2 years. Transporting it is expensive and a pain so I wanted to find someone to come to my home and get it running again. The man works out of his home and uses a panel truck. He looks a bit scruffy, but he really knows his stuff and that is what is important. After taking some items off the mower and doing some cleaning, adjusting and spraying, he got it started. He rode it out to his truck and up a makeship ramp to the back of the truck. Then he put air in the tires, sharpened the blades, and changed the oil. Finally, he gave me some recommendations for the type of oil to use and told me to trash the stuff I had. He also told me to use 89 octane gas and not 87. We have 1/3 acre and immediately mowed it. The machine ran fine. But when I went to trim where that mower couldn't reach, my small push mower let out with a grinding sound. I thought I'd dislodged a bearing and called him. He was back the next day and fixed it within an hour. Considering that he got both jobs done the first time and saved me the three months that other mower repair places tell me I'll have to wait, I was definitely satisfied.
