I first checked Bobette's website and it no longer exists even though it's on Angie's List. Then I called her phone number and left a message. I had also left messages with a number of other stagers. About an hour later I got a text: Unknown Texter: "Where are you located?" Me: "Help me out. Who is this?" Unknown Texter: "Stager" Me: "The house is in Arlington. But to be honest staging is all about image and I would expect a stager who wants my business to introduce themselves." Me: "So who are you?" I heard nothing else. She's either so busy that she doesn't even need to try to get new business or she just doesn't understand the importance of presenting a professional image. Unfortunately, if it's the latter, home staging houses for sale seems like not the right business to be in.
Description of Work: Did not get far enough in the process to engage this stager due to lack of professionalism.

From start to finish the new house kept getting better. While we were working on one room, we would find an item that suddenly I realized I wanted/loved for a room we had already done. Our new home is filled with so many of our furnishings from our "old" house but in different rooms with different accessories. We have the warmth and familiarity yet we have a totally new look. I know we will not be finished because Bobette finds new things or new ways every time I speak to her. I'm anxious to have her input when the holiday season rolls around next year since she worked wonders with our every day things from our previous house. I can't wait to see my familiar decorations in their new setting with Bobette's touch.
Description of Work: Bobette decorated my new house and we couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Bobette showed us how to bring a pop of color into our rooms without overpowering the room. She incorporated our ideas of what we love with the decorators touch giving us rooms which are comfortable, attractive, "decorator show quality" while still retaining that down home comfy feel. Everyone who comes over comments on how attractive the home is and how it feels so comfortable to be in--this is all due to Bobette's sense of style incorporated with what we like. She took our love of all things Southwestern and added a touch here and there to make our collections really stand out.
