Team Bowman

I started with Team Bowman in September 2006 and they were wonderful for the first year. Things declined after that first year when I got dogs and started dabbling in my own landscaping. First of all, the guys often forgot to put the board blocking the gate back in place so that my dogs didn't get out. I got calls at least once a month that the boys were out again. I eventually had to make it a permanent part of the fence, ugly as it was. Second, I have a number of solar garden lights in my yard and had to repeatedly replace them because they were broken during my lawn service. All of this was taken in stride, as I had chalked it up to the hazards of the situation. The straw that finally broke the camel's back was that the quality of my lawn mowing declined to the point that my next door neighbor and I started having drainage problems. It seemed that they were in a hurry to get done as soon as possible and did not take care to make sure drainage paths were mowed in a straight line. This was especially unacceptable to my next door neighbor and led to the final decision to end my relationship with them. The owners are very nice people, but I couldn't let nice override the quality of my relationship with my next door neighbor.

It has been very satisfactory. They perform regularly and have been doing a good job consistently. We have had storm damages and they have been very helpful and timely in dealing with that. We had some trees that had burnt down in the storm and they have helped us clear away the trees. I know that we could get someone who is less expensive but I?m not sure if we will find someone who gives us the same value.
