 + -1 moreService Squad Plumbing, specifically Jakeob and Nathan are rockstars. This was a big job at a single-family home on a slab that needed the cast iron pipes replaced under the slab. From day one, Jakeob did a great job giving the initial assessment and explaining the options that were available for the circumstances. A few plumbing companies were contacted for estimates but Service Squad Plumbing, Jakeob, did the best job communicating what needed to be done. The great communication continued throughout the process while the work was being done. The job was completed within the estimated time frame that was initially given. Jakeob and Nathan kept it professional the whole time as they fought against the Texas weather. There were so many days of rain during this project, it was constant battle against the rain entering the tunnels under the slab, the steamy sauna feeling of the air when the sun would come out and the swarm of mosquitoes that apparently also enjoyed the tunnels. They did a great job and I’ll be contacting them again if I have any future plumbing needs.

Description of Work: We were in need of a new water heater after 24 years of service she finally passed away. In our search for a replacement, we contacted a number of companies (7 to be exact), after intense research and finally choosing one my wife and I can honestly say we are happy in our choice in going with Service Squad Plumbing of Fort Worth, this is a company I can honestly say did not attempt to over, charge us, upgrade us or underrate any of the companies we were looking at, they quickly send one of their technician’s name Grant (who I believe is their best) he quickly yet thoroughly accessed the situation, our concerns and directly answered all my questions, as well as gave me his advice and choice as to which model and size would be bested fitted in the space the previous one was in, the previous unit was 50gl and not planning ahead we had a customed cabinet tightly built around it, Grant immediately sized up the situation and recommended we go with a smaller 40gl, which is perfectly ok since it’s only my wife and I now living in the house. Upon setting up an installation date Grant and his apprentice, Cory showed up on time and immediately started the process of removing my old unit and installation of the new unit (note it started to rain yet Grant and Cory continued working), I felt so comfortable and trusting of them that I allowed them to move all their needed equipment into my garage instead of them needing to go back and forward to their truck in the rain. Grant & Cory was very respectful and tidy, they actually were cleaning as they worked, rarely done by most companies, in my opinion if these two technicians are any indication as to the people Service Squad Plumbing hires I could honestly state this is a caring company that is trustworthy and dependable, as well as an indication of their professionalism, was from awarding them our business till completion of the job one of their office worker’s (Wendy) kept in contact with me in answering before as well as after questions and billing concerning. My thanks to Service Squad Plumbing of Fort Worth and all those involved in making this a smooth installation and purchase. Final Note: Upon loading the old unit in the truck Grant let me take a final picture of her before she when off to Hot Water Heater’s Heaven.

 + -1 moreHonest and great at their craft - I cannot recommend Service Squad more highly! We had multiple quotes from other plumbers saying we needed extensive work (almost $10k) to address our issue. We were skeptical and saw Service Squad has a great reputation so gave them a call, and I'm so glad we did. They were honest and transparent and were able to solve the issue right away! They knew every other company quoted us a huge job but still solved it as affordably and quickly and possible. They gained my trust with that, and I will always use them going forward.
Description of Work: We had a clog in our sewer. They were able to snake it out the clog and remove it without digging a trench and doing other extensive work. Everything is back to normal.

 + -1 moreI called them out to replace a hose bib that was older and tended to drip a bit. They came out and told me that it was tied directly to the water main with galvanized pipe and they would have to replace that whole part. They also send a had a leak. Keep in mind, I’d had no issues with any plumbing or leaks prior to their arrival. They leave and I turn on the water at the street (they had shut it off) and the meter is spinning very fast - indicating a major issue. I went and explored and found a pool of water, once I drained the water I found a dime sized hole in a pipe tied to the water main. I tried calling the company as well as the technician, left messages and texts, and no one got back to me. So now my family and I are without water and I had to get another company to come out on a Friday evening to diagnose the issue and schedule a repair. These guys are either incompetent or unethical. I do not fault them for creating the hole - the pipe was old and it happens - but to completely bail and not answer calls is insane. Picture 1 - that is the amount of water that accumulated in the 3 minutes I had the water on. Picture 2 is after I drained the water and looked at the pipe.
