Jack and his team were punctual, very friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I'm so thrilled and pleased with their work that I'm going to hire them again for several more doors.

I bought a new home in April and immediately replaced the carpet with hardwood floors. All was great except for my french patio doors. I knew ahead of time that there would be an issue with the doors opening and closing but the contractors never properly addressed the issue. They tried cutting the doors a quarter of an inch which fixed the draft that was coming in. However, it wasn't a straight line and the threshold couldn't be raised high enough to stop the air coming in the corners. Pro Door cut the door correctly and fixed the threshold. Awesome work and very professional.

They did a very good job. It turned out very well. It's easy to schedule. They're on time. They were professional and courteous when they came out. They'll be the first one we'll call if we ever need to replace any other doors in our house. Their pricing was fair. They're not cheapest but you get what you pay for. We got a very good value out of this door. Their work was pretty good. They did an excellent work.

Front door installation went perfectly and works beautifully. Patio door is amazing, so well built and easy to operate. I've been in the construction industry for forty years and these guys are door experts. I knew it would be a difficult installation and selected Pro Door based on their approach to solving the problem when the estimate was given. The original door was never installed properly when the house was built. It actually hung off the slab. Pro Door looked at the door and told me right away it would need concrete under the door which they would handle. I already knew it needed concrete yet every other contractor we had out for estimates wanted to shim it with wood and refused to do the concrete. We paid another big name box store a $35 dollar fee for one of there installers to come out for an installation estimate and they wanted to install the door just the way the old door was installed. They couldn't come up with any other way to do the job at any price. We decided to just eat the $35 dollar fee. When Pro Door did the estimate told me it would need concrete before I ever asked for concrete. The door has a metal threshold and frame with low E glass and was manufactured to the exact measurements needed for our house. They spent hours making sure the door was installed securely and it slides like butter. I hardly ever bother with reviews unless the work is really bad or really good. Pro Door is not just really good, i think they are excellent. You get what you pay for. My thanks to Jack and Matt.

The contractor responded promptly to my call to repair an outside door that could not be secured. He made an appointment to evaluate the repair that day, arrived promptly and offered to fix the door the next day. The cost of the repair ranged from a "fix" to replacing the door frame and door. Based on a number of factors we decided to do the "fix" and replace the door at a later time. He worked us into his schedule quickly and his team arrived on time to complete the repair. A family member, who was not present during the estimate discussion, supervised the repair. When I arrived home the door was secured, but there were big holes in the wood frame remained. I contacted the contractor to express my concern and he returned to promptly to finish the job to my expectations.

Jack was incredibly professional. He came out right away after hours to help secure our door. He was very reassuring and made my wife and I feel very comfortable. We felt so good about his work that we are having him back to replace the door. Overall a very positive experience.

I called Pro Door Repair because I had three exterior doors that needed new threshold seals, one of which also needed a new threshold. When I asked for an estimate from the owner, Jack Rector, I was told that it would be $85 per man hour for the repairs. That should have scared me away..but it didn't! In talking with Mr. Rector, I began to realize that the repairs would be more involved than I thought and that the hourly labor hour rate may not be all that out of line for the work that was needed. I made an assumption (again my fault for not asking) that Mr. Rector or ONE of his journeyman would be making the repairs. At this point, I agreed to have Pro Door Repair come and make the necessary repairs. When the craftsman and his "helper" arrived, they did not have any of the supplies they needed to make the repairs. They looked at the doors and thresholds and then announced the were going to get the material needed for the repairs. I deemed this to be very unprofessional. After their being gone for about 2.5 hours, I called Mr. Rector and voiced my concerns. Mr. Rector stated that there were many different types of door seals and threshold styles and his men couldn't carry all the different styles in their truck. When they finally returned, it took about 4 hours for the two of them working together to make the repairs. All the repairs made were satisfactory and eliminated all the problems I was experiencing with the doors. I am satisfied with the work quality however the new threshold was not installed squarely to the door frame. That being said, the door now seals when closed as do the other two doors. When the work was completed, I was handed a bill for $875! I was being charged $85 per hour for EACH MAN and I was ALSO charged for the time they took to go and get the materials required to do the job!! Needless to say, I was not happy !!Long story short, I paid the bill with a credit card and then called Mr. Rector and voiced my concerns with the charges. After discussing the issues I had with the way the repairs were handled, Mr. Rector agreed to and did refund $150 to me.Should you decide to use Pro Door Repair, I would suggest that you get a complete estimate for your job BEFORE agreeing to any work!
Description of Work: Replaced the bottom door seals on three exterior doors, install one new threshold and realign the door frame where the new threshold was installed.

I am sorry that the man was not pleased. My men had a hard time finding supplies for his doors on this job. The customer thinks we should carry every type of seals and weatherstripping made on our trucks. That is not possible. His type thy don't even make any moor so we had to mod fie the seals to work. I don't think any one can please this man. I did not have to give him a refund but i did. We are the best in the business and i stand by the name pro door repair. This is the only complaint i have had in over 15 years, So that says a lot for my work and my name.
