He has been very reliable and very responsible and his workmen are great as well. I plan to use him for carpet work in the future.

Terrible experience. The company promised a relatively easy installation with 2 crews and dust collection equipment and he had one crew and nothing to help with the excessive dust generated from the removal of slate flooring. Every time we expressed concerns, the owner made excuses or ignored our emails and texts. They were consistently late to the job, sometimes 1+ hours past the time they told us to meet them. I am still cleaning up pieces of slate from my flower beds where they piled it upon removal. Calls to the owner, as well as emails and texts went unanswered and I only saw him one time throughout the 5 day process. This company hires subs and relies on supervisors to keep tabs on things, though I never saw the supervisor either. The owner tried to convince us to install new carpeting upstairs while the flooring install was going on down which would have resulted in all the dust getting into the new carpets. When they were asked to come back for touch-up work, they did indeed come, but they left some spots on the floors dull and when we asked them to bring us a sample of the poly so we could touch up ourselves, the owner promised he would, but never did. The owner admitted that the install did not go well and apologized and said it was a "learning experience for him" and that it helped him "know what direction he needed to go to grow his business". He stated that in the future he would bring in a cleaning crew to jobs but did not offer to do this for us and we had to spend 1200.00 to have the air ducts cleaned afterward and we are still trying to get the dust out of the house. The owner admitted that this was the first time they had done an install in a home that is occupied vs. new construction. Had we known that, we would never have hired him for this job. It was an awful experience.
