I called the Overhead Door company in the morning, and my door was fixed that afternoon. Their employee was very courteous and professional. He was also very skilled and arrived to do this job promptly. That's why I highly recommend this company if you need new garage doors or just repairs.

Went fine but ordered two key fob clickers and the tech didn’t bring them, and then three messages to the sales guy to get them went unanswered. Sure wish we had those. Belt system works great though.

I've had nothing but good things from this company.I thought the price was reasonable.They weren't on time but they let me know they were running late.

Well, however the wait time for a special order panel was quite long.

When our garage door broke at 9 pm, Bart was able to come out on short notice later that night to fix the problem. Not only did he repair the spring cable, he also pointed out prior damage to the door and straightened the track. We appreciate his professionalism and friendliness, especially at that hour!

I am assuming they are good. They are the people that installed my doors and they are the only folks we've used. I didn't shop, I'll put it that way. It was fine. Responsiveness was good. They were very good. Two guys came out to do the work.

A young man was sent over by Overhead Door Co who had neither the training or the tools for the job. A conversation with his "manager" led me to believe this was a company-wide problem - not just an issue with an inexperienced technician. The young man sent by Overhead Door Co "analyzed" the problem and said the sensors at the bottom of the door needed to be replaced. Later, he said he "didn't trust the wires" connecting the sensors to the unit and wanted to replace those as well. I said okay. After testing the door function, there was no change in the behavior. The door would go up but not down. He then said that it was an electrical connector (which he did not have). And then later, he changed his mind and said it was the "circuit board" which he didn't have either. Being very familiar and capable with electronics, I asked if he checked the continuity of the sensor wires. He said yes. I asked how he checked them. He said nothing. I then pressed him and asked if he checked them with a "volt-ohm meter." He said he didn't own one. For those uninitiated to electrical repair, the volt-ohm meter or VOM is the most basic piece of equipment for this type of job. Not having a VOM is like a carpenter who owns no hammers. Among other things, it is the basic tool professionals use to check for broken or shorted out wires. I then asked to speak to his manager. I expressed my disbelief about an electrical technician who didn't own a VOM, He told me that in his 25 years of doing this, HE never used a VOM either. This led me to believe that the problem was not simply an inexperienced technician, but incompetence of the business as a whole. He offered to remove the man from my property and I agreed. When the young man left, he took out the new sensors and did not restore the old sensors. He left the wires bound together to be sure they would not work. It was clear to me that the young man intentionally made sure the garage door opener was worse off than he found it. After retrieving my own VOM, I found that the young man had cut the wire with a staple. If he had the correct tools and training, he would have quickly analyzed and remedied the problem himself. Disgusting. I have used the Overhead Door brand in the past. Never again.

The person who took the call yesterday was courteous and professional. An appointment for early this morning was booked. The technician gave me a courtesy call first about ETA, was punctual, knowledgeable, efficient and professional. Pricing was reasonable. The work was completed within an hour

Called late one afternoon and they were here the next morning right on time. Will was the technician, who was very prompt, professional and courteous.

Installer had truck trouble and had to reschedule. Not his fault. He did a good job. Thought it was a little pricey, but included cost of service call plus material and labor.

It took two weeks long. The guy at first couldn't get it to work. They sent a different gentleman out and he got it right away. It was not a smooth process. The price was a little high.

The service went well. Very professional. It was unfortunate that there was a $50 trip charge because we don't live in the city. Not everyone does this, but we looked at it as a delivery charge.

It was a very good experience. The gentleman doing the work did an excellent job!! Very professional and very helpful in ansereing questions. We would highly recommend Overhead Door and would use them again if needed.

They were professional, on time and I extremely happy with work they provided.

I had used Overhead Door Co. before so I called them today when I suddenly discovered yesterday that my garage door wouldn't close with my clicker or keypad. I had to hold down the actual button until it closed all the way. I called the company this morning around 8:30 am, and I had someone out at my house the same day, on time. Tony took care of the problem in about an hour. Very impressed!

Horribly. The repairman said for me to go to Home Depot & buy the parts & install them myself because he didn't have the safety electric eyes with him. Really??? A garage door repairman doesn't have the safety electric eyes to repair a garage door??? Horrible service

I thought I was buying a brand new garage door from the modern line offered by Overhead Door. As of today, I was sold a garage door from their scratch & dent sale & charged full price without follow-up to correct any issues. On Aug 6 when the door was originally installed, 2 of the glass panes were cracked & there was damage on one of the exterior aluminum slats that runs along the laminate glass. The installer Jason was informative & advised that the glass would be replaced & a new slat installed at a later date. The garage doors function at this time was quiet & smooth. I understand that these things happen & felt that it was not a big deal as long as these repairs were made. On Aug 30 Overhead Door arrived to install the 2 glass panes & replace the damaged aluminum slat. This was performed by two installers that were different from the original install. Due to my work schedule that day, I was unfortunately not able to stay while they completed the work so left my remaining 50% payment due with the installers in good faith & assuming there would be no issues. I returned home anxious to see my "new" garage door only to be left disappointed. . The new glass that was installed appears to be fine. The replaced aluminum slat does not sit flush like the rest of the door & looks terrible. The garage door also no longer has a smooth & quiet operation- it makes a clanking-thud noise when opening & closing. I contacted my salesman Ray regarding my concerns & was told by him that he would check it out the following week. September 10, 2013- Overhead Door came out & made repairs. Garage door is all good. No further issues.

I called this morning and told them my opener broke and needed repair. Will, the repairman came within 2 hours, and said I needed a new opener. He explained why and since the unit was from 1999, I gave him the go ahead. He had unit with him and intalled it. My other garage door opener was running rough so I also had him inspect that one and see if it also needs replacement. He said it was in good shape and just needed some service. That unit was also from 1999 but doesn't get used on a daily basis like the first one. He got it working almost like a new unit and did not charge me extra. I am very pleased with the service, the response and the price and would highly recommend them. Will was great.

The tech was very knowledgeable and professional. The installation went quickly and on schedule.

I went to their office where I purchased what I believed was a builder quality door. When the door was installed, it was a very light door, nothing like the old door. I had to have them come out because it was making a loud noise while going up (Popping sound). Over all I am not happy with the quality of door and installment but if you want cheap, that what you get is cheap.

I emailed Overhead Door Co. the night of 6/16/13, and I got a call the very next morning and was told someone would be out that day (today). I received a call from Tony, giving me a 10-15 minute notice. I waited a good 30 minutes before I called him, to find out he was lost. Once he got to my house, he apologized for being late and got to work, evaluating my garage door and programming/installing the keypad. I printed out the coupon for $95 for Angie's List members, but he said I would have to go to Overhead Door's website to print out their own coupon for $99. Honestly, I was already 30 minutes overdue to return to work, so I told him I didn't have time to go back inside my house to do that. He took my coupon anyways but gave me the $99 price. I told Tony to talk to Angie's List to clarify the validity of the coupon. Overall, they got the job done but with a couple of snags.

There were some issues that we thought would make this a difficult installation. The Installer did a great job of working around these issues.

Overhead garage door not opening correctly. Thought it was the hinges hanging up, Nope, one of the roller springs had broken.
