I highly recommend Nate Riley for Riding Lawn Mower Repair. He does excellent work at an excellent price. .I was thinking of replacing my mower before I spoke with Nate about the repairs. (My mower is difficult to work on due to an automatic transmission and a total of 3 belts.) Nate is a true professional. He explained the needed work, then loaded and took my mower back to his shop. He completed every repair then cleaned and delivered my mower back on time. My mower now runs like it did 15 years ago.

All was great, he was prompt and very thorough. He followed up when I had some additional questions. Explained everything well.

The spark plug kept fouling on my 8 HP Briggs&Stratton Snapper riding mower. I had to put in a new plug after each use. A Snapper dealer said I needed to get the engine rebuilt (which almost cost the same as a new engine). Mr. Riley said that he thought he knew what the problem was. For less than $200 he put in a new head gasket, rebuilt the carburetor, and did some other refurbishments. Most importantly, he advised me to throttle the mower way back and run it for about 10 seconds before shutting it off. Two full mowing seasons later my Snapper is still starting up and running like a champ!

It was high season for the trade and I knew it would be a while before I could cut my lawn. Turned out to be about 5 weeks during this period. It's been hot and dry and there was not that much to cut or as frequently. When I did my first cutting, I immediately noticed that it did not use that much gas. New spark plug, gas filter, and oil change makes a difference! My 14-year-old mower is like new. Helps that it was built by John Deere.

Mr. Riley was extremely accommodating with the drop off and pick up time. The mower was ready to go in three days. It runs like a champ. The cost was extremely reasonable. He did great work and is a really genuine, friendly, honest person. I highly recommend him for any small engine repair.

I spoke with the provider once to schedule a time to pick up my lawn mower for repair, he scheduled for the provider to come 2 weeks from the call, he never showed up or called to reschedule, I will never try and hire this provider again.

Nate was awesome! I called and was able to drop my mower off to him within a day or so and the turn around was quick. It only took him a couple of days to fix it and get it back to me. I had never had the mower serviced and he showed me how to drain the existing oil (what was left of it anyway) and then how to check it. He also told me how often to get it serviced and being new to Texas answered my questions about how the care for the mower differs from what we used back in the northeast. After picking up my mower Nate and I chatted for a little while about family and about our travels around the country. He was very friendly and I am not going to hesitate to give him a call next fall to service our Toro push mower.

Nate was very accomodating with drop off and pick up times. Very polite and friendly. Nate explained the problem well and saved me a bunch of money by repairing parts that I expected to be replaced. Mower runs great.

I had a top notch experience all the way across the board with Nate Riley's Care and Repair of Small Engines. It was like stepping back in time. The guy was just very personable. The prices were excellent. The work is outstanding. I can't say enough good things about the guy.

He is most polite and responsible. I wished he fixed other items. I would use him again.

Nate determined the problems with my Toro mower within 15 minutes, discussed the needed repairs and options and gave me a price and date of completion. He completed the work within the estimated timeframe and did it for less than the estimated cost!

Nate was very pleasant and helpful. He quickly troubleshot the problem and made a quick repair for little cost. Plus he educated me on what I should/should not do in the future. I will definitely be a return customer if need be.

As a new subscriber, our first experience with Angie's List was successful. After signing up, started to search for a Lawn Mower Repair Service and after viewing 3-4, selected Nate Riley's Service. My husband phoned him and took the lawn mower to him on Friday, 4/13/12 explaining we would like it returned for our normal lawn service the following Thursday. Nate called Monday morning and said it was ready and for a very reasonable price. Our first experience with both Angie's List and Nate Riley's services encourages me to use this venue for future services. I would recommend using Nate Riley's Services.
