The team that makes up Millworks Visions, LLC has been well honed, and the project was excellence from start to finish. I rank communication and the management of expectation as highly as I do craftsmanship, and I am as impressed by this project’s flow and time management as the beautiful result of the remodel. Millworks Visions, LLC holds the standard of excellence of a time gone by, and I am so grateful to have worked together.

Terry was very responsive to our requests. He also provided numerous suggestions that improved our home, like lighting and redesign of our pantry.. Dustin did outstanding work in a number of areas, but the best was with our fireplace rebuild. Bill provided excellent carpentry work in the area of new baseboards and door trims and new door installation.

This was our second kitchen remodel; the first was in another state. There is simply no comparison between our two experiences. While we were happy with the final product of the previous project, we were intimately involved in every decision made regarding the design of this one. Millwork Visions was recommended to us by our general contractor, who was overseeing the entire project. We were told that Terry (the owner) made custom cabinets, but we saw for ourselves what an understatement that was. Terry is an artist and his team is full of perfectionists. Unbeknownst to us, for example, when Terry dropped to meet with my husband & I the first couple of times (to get a sense of our vision), he was also absorbing the subtle details of the surrounding space. As a result, the cabinet drawer & door fronts tie into the details of the mantel in the adjoining great room AND a Dutch hutch on the far side of the kitchen, that we brought back with us from a tour in Europe. In addition to the design, we were impressed with the quality of the cabinets, the auto-close features, as well as the great care taken to ensure that every single piece was level. Last but not least, we sincerely appreciated Terry's patience, as we tried to find the perfect color for a specific design element. The member of his team who worked on that feature was nothing short of an artist. Our kitchen is stunning & functional. We couldn't be happier, and we SINCERELY appreciate the responsiveness we received from Terry & his team throughout the entire project.

We have used them for several projects and they are always our first choice for cabinetry and closet design. They do excellent work and really good craftsmanship. They are extremely versatile and will pretty much do anything you want - they will make all your dreams come true! We had a complicated custom design idea for a dining table that they built without any issues! I would definitely hire them again - they are the best!

Excellent! Terry worked with me to create a final layout with many custom features to accommodate all of my storage and work space requirements. As design progressed I added additional features which Terry incorporated in his 3-D CAD tool to email me a rendering to make a final decision. The result was beautiful, functional, on schedule, and on budget. Don’t settle for on-line stackable units, Terry can give you customized cabinets for a comparable price.

Terry did my whole house when I tore down and rebuilt. The work was pretty much flawless. All the cabinet doors are recessed and the gap around them is perfect all around. Excellent precise work. Then I needed a bigger opening for a new double oven which involved cutting down the drawer below and also cutting trim around the panty opening next to it. He had to come back several times because the dimensions were critical but he didn’t stop until it was perfect. 5 stars!

I’ve used Millwork visions MANY times primarily for cabinets and doors. They are always very attentive listening to what the project requires even if it’s something a little more unusual or custom work. Pricing is transparent and fair. And all of the team members care about the the quality of the job from the owner Terri Cargill to the employees like Dustin and Manuel. All around great company and I’ll use them again and again.

Beautifully done work, perfectionists, design was perfect and special “in cabinet“ pieces inverted that we didn’t know were even options. We love the owner and always enjoyed his attitude and expertise.

Terry did a wonderful job designing and executing a beautiful piece for us to match one he built in another room in our home several years ago. The job took about a month longer than we'd planned but there were some extenuating circumstances on his end that didn't sound avoidable. It was worth the wait! The piece is beautiful, sturdy and well made.

We first met Terry in late August 2016, and we liked him right away. He's knowledgeable and offered ideas that we appreciated. Initially, things went smoothly. We put down a deposit in mid-September, approved Terry's drawings on 10/3, and had our first round of cabinetry delivered on 10/31. So far, so good. Our first hiccup was indirectly related to Terry's work; he recommended a supplier for quartz countertops, and we trusted him on this. Unfortunately, we later found that supplier to be unresponsive, especially in terms of standing behind their work. That's a subject for another review! Given that our initial experience with cabinetry had been positive, we offered Terry additional work in the form of custom closets, a built-in fireplace mantle, and mouldings/casings for three rooms. He was also to paint several custom doors that we had made by a local manufacturer. We approved his proposal for the additional work on 11/17 and paid for all of the work sans painting (including certain work not yet completed, unfortunately) on 12/13. This is where our experience unraveled. First, a project that we thought would be complete by the holidays came to a grinding halt. We started having trouble reaching Terry, and then he would tell us that he had been sick and/or his guys were either sick or out. Some of that was understandable with the holidays approaching, but we started to see a pattern of excuses develop. For the next few months, we went back and forth. Among the items already paid for, Terry owed us 30 closet shelves, 6 closet rods, an access panel, all hardware related to those items, and 2 sets of lateral file hardware, along with numerous touch-ups. Terry eventually agreed to deliver the closet shelves and rods to us by 2/23/17, but they didn't arrive until 3/17 (and then only because we were ready to accept them unpainted). We never did receive the rods, access panel, or lateral file hardware. We had to adjust the door and drawer hardware on our own, and we learned that the cabinets weren't as cleanly-manufactured as we'd first thought. Doors vary in thickness, openings aren't square, etc. Painting and staining, however, was an area of special concern. When the initial delivery of cabinetry had been made, we saw that a number of touch-ups would be required, and Terry reassured us that these would be no big deal. But his crew had a very difficult time correcting these defects. Even after taking doors back to the shop to be 'completely redone', they would return with damage. On several occasions, I asked Terry if my painter should handle the work, as I was wanting to be fair with Terry and was thinking that he would be losing money. But he expressed confidence in his work and claimed that "it wasn't about the money". In the end, all that this did was cost us a great deal of time. The same was true of staining done to our office casing; this was to be color-matched to our new windows, but the guys were not able to achieve an even finish. In the end, there were so many runs and other defects in the paint and stain work that was performed by Terry's crew that we had to hire our own painter to correct them, where possible, as well as to finish the shelves and other parts. We spent over $5,000 to have another contractor complete the repairs and touch-ups, as well as for us to source, purchase and/or fabricate hardware, e.g. custom closet rods, custom lateral file bars, etc. (not counting our time to do so). The result looks very good, but it was time-consuming and very costly. We believe we were as patient and polite with Terry as we could be throughout this process. When we kicked off this project, we really thought he would be "our cabinet guy" from that point forward. Sadly, that wasn't meant to be, and we found ourselves empathizing with this BBB complainant: [*** Link removed ***] We ultimately reached out to Terry one last time, on 3/23/17, offering him the opportunity to deliver what we had paid for back in December, but we never heard from him again.

We added a master suite and laundry room and every thing was wonderful! From the design phase all the way through completion. Terry and his crew were a pleasure to have in our home and made our dream a reality and better than we even planned!

Disappointed to say the least. Terry answered my request to look at my cabinet project and arrived on the day and time we agreed to. Very punctual. Terry was very professional and I really liked his honesty and time he took to review the project with me. I'm disappointed because there was no follow up! After all that effort for him to come out and take a look at the project then not provide a quote is a bummer. I tried contacting him with a text message 1 week after he came out requesting a cost estimate, then a follow up phone call about 5 days after that. It's been 2.5 weeks since our meeting and no cost estimate. I guess I will be using another person for my project.

Exceptional quality and craftsmanship! Terry replicated the two-decade old design to a T. He also suggested design modifications for a troublesome window...the result exceeded expectations. Even though our job was small, he made us feel like a high priority. We will use him again for windows in our master bedroom.

When we were designing our new country farm home, our architect recommended we talk with Terry Cargill of Millwork Visions about designing and building out our custom cabinets and a custom front door and dining room table. We knew before talking with Terry that Millwork Visions builds with formaldehyde-free materials and this is something we wanted in our new home. In our first meeting with Terry, we were immediately impressed with Terry’s creativity in design and knowledge of the period of time we were wanting to replicate in our home. Long story short, we hired Millwork Visions to design and build out the entire inside of our new home, including cabinets, doors, trim and our front door and dining room table. The resulting work product is much more than we ever imagined. The attention to detail is exceptional and the quality of the workmanship is superior. Millwork Visions’ work inside our new home makes it what it is today. We love it and we can, without reservation, highly recommend Terry Cargill and the team at Millwork Visions.
