The service had been great and I had just referred my parents to this company until the first week in June 2015. I personally told the pool maintence rep in person that I did not want pool service for the 2nd week in June and the 4the week in June. I went on to tell him why. The 2nd week I was having construction in the back yard. The 4th week I had a pet sitter coming and did not want them to have to remember to close the doggy door. He suggested I call the office so I will not be charged for these services for these 2 weeks. I chose not to call the office, since being charged for 2 weeks was not important to me. I did not get service the 3rd week, but forgot to call to see why. I went out of town, and when I got back the following week, the pool was not serviced. I called the company who told me the pool service was on hold. I told them I did not request the hold. Apparently the pool rep put the service on hold, even though I chose not to do this. The next week the pool service was supposed to start back up. But the service did not start back because the pool rep was out on medical leave. So someone else was taking his place and was not on the same time schedule. So this week, the service rep returned to work and when he arrived he let me know he needed to talk to me. I met him in the front yard where he told me he could not service my pool with the pool cover on. The pool cover has been on the entire time and in 6 weeks, if the pool cover was off, I would be putting it back on due to have so many trees in my backyard. I told him I was not taking the pool cover off. I told him I would have to find another alternative for pool chemicals. He brought up the service being on hold. I reminded him that in the beggining of June I told him I did not want service for the 2nd & 4th week only. He first denied being at my house at the first of June. He then confirmed that is what he provided his company. I told him, his company told me, he put the service on hold, which I did not want. He then started to get upset and he then told me I told him I was renovating my pool. I told him I never told him that. Then he tells me I told him my pool pump was broke. Again I told him I never told him this either, because never are true. At this point he got very aggitated and started yelling stating he is not lying. I told him I did not think he was lying, he is just confused. All the while I never once raised my voice. I tried to calm him down by telling him I was not mad, I am just trying to understand how simply requesting only 2 weeks of no pool service could go so wrong. He turned around walked into my backyard collected his equipement and left. I called the company and left a message for the manager to call me. When the manager called me, he did not give me a change to tell him I was not using his serviced anymore and only wanted to give him informaiton I would exect a manager would want to know about how his employee behaved. The manager did not want to hear anything having to due with my experience with his employee. The manager said he was no longer going to provide service to me because the rep can't always make it to my house between 6-7 am, which has never been a problem, the other reason he gave was my dogs. There is only 2 times my dogs were in the yard during 6-7 am, the first being the very first time the service started and I had simply forgotten about service starting and the other time, I was sick and forgot to close the dog door. It is disappointing a company has such good pool service but terrible customer service and no dispute resoluction skills. I will never suggest this company to anyone ever again.

I have had this pool for over 30 year. Off and on, I have hired pool services. I decided to try Metro because even with other pool services, I still had and quot;waterand quot; issues. I am paying far less per month for Metro Pool Chemical and because the water balance is so well maintained, brushing and backwashing are kept to a minimum! My water is so crystal clear, everyone who swims in my pool remarks on how great it looks. Plus, no algae issues thus far and we have had a really hot summer. I also must add that once I was on the schedule, my pool was serviced the same day and same time every week. You never have to guess when they are coming. I had a minor problem today-not having anything to do with the water-and while Metro was there, he said he would take a quick look so I could better explain to a pool equipment company before they came out. Guess what? It was a flipped switch and he put the system back in working order saving me a service call of about $85. Now, that is a company you want to do business with! I would, and have, recommended Metro Pool Chemical to everyone I know who has a pool. Living on a budget, I am so happy I have found a company that is professional, personable, helpful and worth every penny!

I really like this service because I don't have to mess with chemicals and check the water. It makes it easy for me to have a nice looking pool.

Provider checks chemicals weekly and adjusts as necessary (all weeks but 2 per year). In the past 10 years, I've called to complain that my pool had algae growth maybe twice. I think they sent someone back out (not on my regularly weekly day) and adjusted the chemicals at no charge. When I first started receiving service, I was so excited when it rained and my pool did not turn green. Dependable and friendly service. Monthly service is about $50/month.

I hired this company after my own inability to keep the pool free of algea and keep the water balanced. They only provide chemical services, not physical cleaning. All my algea was completely gone after the first application, and so far, the pool is beautiful. They do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, and provide a valuable service. What more can you ask for?

We have used Metro Pool Chemical for the last 2 years to treat our pool every Friday. We are extremely pleased with their service. Our pool is always clear and fresh, with no chlorine or chemical smell. We clean our our filters and do the back flush monthly - Metro provides bags of DE to us as needed for the flush. We would highly recommend their service to anyone with a pool.

Overall great service, friendly and want to make sure we are taken care of. Our pool is in good condition already so hard to say if there is any difference but good to know we have great caretakers!

We continued the service contracted by the former owners of our house when we moved in last October. We have found Metro to be responsive, prompt and reliable--they keep our pool crystal clear.

When I call their office, no matter who answers, I get someone who is courteous and can always answer my questions. They get an A+ from me.

We chose another company as we got a better bid from them. They were okay; we just found a better deal. They were good with answering our questions. They were on time. They were professional.

Metro Pool Chemical resued my pool from almost a pond. It was a mess. In less than a month, my pool was looking so much better. They continue to monitor and maintain the pool. My pool is looking great now! It is by far the best $50 a month I spend.

I have a continued contract with them and they have been coming every Thursday. I have been using them for the past twenty five years. I pay for the whole year in advance which would come to $40 a month. My experience with them has been perfect and satisfactory.

Very little service provided during winter months.

I have had a contract with them for 30 years. They are the only people who have done our pool and they keep the chemicals in perfect balance barring a freak weather turn for the worse.

It was in pretty sad shape when they first came out and within a few days it was looking a whole lot better. The price was okay and they were very responsive from the time that I called them to when they were here. They are also accessible.

It has gone very well. They have been our pool chemical service company for about 25 years. I originally tried to do our chemical adjustments myself, but found that I kept adding too much or too little of the chemicals, and then had to spend too much time and money correcting my mistakes. Their service works out to about $46 per month, year round, which appears to be expensive, but it's worth it to me to have the water always clear and not to have to mess with it. Also, one needs to remember that they're coming to our house every week of the year, checking the chemicals, and adding whatever it takes. So it's only about $11.50 per week for my "house call", which seems reasonable. Also, whenever I call, they are very helpful and responsive. I've had no problems with their work, they have given me advice when needed, and referred me to other firms who do work I've needed, from time to time. Basically just a good company I enjoy working with.
