Masterful Satellite

I only wanted a quote because I did not have the Dish unit available that day, I had forgotten to pick it up at the old location. He wanted to go ahead and do the work because someone else had canceled their appointment and he was free that afternoon. He assured me that he knew what he was doing and all I would have to do was hook up the box and it would work fine. He gave me a verbal quote of $200 and I agreed to let him do the work. He went to Home Depot to get hardware to mount the Dish to the pole and finished the installation in about 2 hours. He charged me $275 because he had to buy mounting hardware because I did wanted the dish mounted to an existing STURDY pole instead of paying him $35 for a tripod and cinder block. I was not happy, but paid him. The next day when I hooked up the Dish box, it would not work. I tried to call him, but he would not answer or return my calls. When I went up on the roof to look at the satellite, I understood why it would not work. Carl had mounted the dish to the pole using plastic ZIP TIES! I had to call another company to do the work correctly for $75. The second installer was horrified at the poor quality installation.
