Lon Smith was professional and very responsive the whole way through the process. They worked within the insurance quote and provided pictures as needed so we could ensure everything was covered. They cleaned up at the end of each day. This is the 2nd roof we've had Lon Smith replace in 15 years, and we will use them again.

Our experience with Lon Smith was Awesome!!! Great company to work with they gave us options and did some upgrade in our Roof at no extra cost. Our Salesperson was fantastic he explained every detailed of the procedure and aswered all of our questions and concerns. I had a GREAT experience with Lon Smith roofing. Every department (Sales, Scheduling, Install Team, Inspector, Roofing Supervisor) was very professional. Scheduling was convenient and easy. I was kept informed at each process of my roof replacement and was given suggestions on how to better ventilate my attic. The Inspector came out several times during the installation and checked if I had any questions and to update me on the work. Once completed, the inspector and I went through their inspection list together and helped gather the information for my insurance claim. The Team did a great job cleaning up after the work was done. I highly recommend Lon Smith roofing for their superior work!

Lon Smith Roofing removed old roof and replaced 36 squares of CerTainTeed Class 4 shingle. The seller Robbie H. was excellent and provided several different options and other advice. In fact the advice was so valuable, I did not even consider other roofing companies. When you receive really good advice, you know it is the right option. The crew stripped the roof and replaced it in one day. They came back the next morning to cleanup and did a really nice job. The roof looks great, and the color option suggested was the right choice. The inspector Keith came back later and reviewed everything with me to make sure everything was done correctly. This roofing company knows what they are doing, and I would use them again without question.

GREAT!!!!! This company was Stellar from beginning to end. I receieved a great price and a wonderful job. The installers were very good on the install of new asphalt shingles and protected the areas around the house during demo of the old asphalt roof shingles. Their inspectors came around the project daily, and I had their contact numbers if they're was a problem. Hats off to David Grassman for being on site to make sure all went smooth>. D. A 3 day job became a month long ordeal. The roofing crew did a very poor job. Numerous areas where no felt/tar paper installed. I personally had to point it out to the inspector. Several return repairs had to be made some requiring the entire day. Flashing around my chimney had to be completely redone. Never was there a follow up from the Lon Smith sales persons. Additionally there was considerable damage to landscaping and front yard.

3 day job took a month to finish/repair very poor workmanship. I personally had to find, point out defects.

Lon Smith Roofing did an excellent job with our roof replacement. Our sales representative was so easy to work with- very professional and knowledgeable explaining every step of the process and working very closely with our insurance company– saving us lots of time!! The company’s employees from the sales rep (Alan Kinnaird) to the roofers and inspector (David Grassmann) were all very professional and respectful of our property – the clean-up job they did was amazing!! We are very pleased with quality and look of our new roof. I highly recommend Lon Smith Roofing company to anyone considering roof repairs or replacements.

From start to finish, working with Lon Smith Roofing was a pleasure. They embody total customer satisfaction beginning with the initial contract, throughout the actual roofing, the cleanup, and follow up inspections. Throughout the process, all of my questions or concerns were handled promptly and professionally---and to my full satisfaction. I was able to easily contact the salesman, supervisor, or inspector when necessary. When I wasn't sure who to contact, I would call the main office support staff and they would address my questions immediately. I have had negative experiences with other roofing contractors in the past; especially after the sale. Plants and shrubs were not protected and nails and fragments of old and new shingles were found in my landscaping and yard for months after the job was "done". This wasn't the case with Lon Smith Roofing. No damage to landscaping and no leftover shingles and nails I could find! I would not hesitate to use Lon Smith Roofing in the future and fully recommend them to others.

This is the second time I used Lon Smith Roofing to replace my hail damage roof. The second time they upgraded the shingles and included additional venting. They obtained the City Permit and inspector came out about three days later to check the work. They also contacted the City to complete the building inspection. They notified me the delivery date of the roofing material and started couple of days later. Great Job

Lon Smith’s professional estimator was onsite during the Insurance inspection as the roof was evaluated for damages and insurance claim review. Working on our behalf with the insurance claims professional all areas of the roof were thoroughly inspected and all damaged acknowledged. Lon Smith provided a comprehensive roof replacement estimate that was easy to understand. The work was completed timely and the roof looks great. I will absolutely recommend Lon Smith Roofing to any family member and any friend that has a roofing repair or replacement need.

They worked well with my insurance company to ensure all my gutters were replaced as well. Very pleased with their work.

Texas weather is erratic at best. LSR kept abreast as to the weather here in Northern Texas and when the weather was to be comfortable LSR arrived ready to aggressively replace my damaged roof. Communication was prompt and the schooling about roofs was very educational. My only suggestion is to use a magnet on wheels to compliment the roof techs use of a hand held magnet used for picking up nails and other metal roofing cuttings for more complete removal of. Nevertheless positive kudos for Lon Smith Roofing.

Lon Smith Roofing did a fantastic job replacing our roof. Our Estimator/Contact, Garrett, was helpful from Day 1. He was professional, knowledgeable and always responded quickly. We had some unique problems with our roof, and Garrett worked closely with our insurance company to resolve any outstanding issues. In spite of the terrible weather conditions, the crew stayed on schedule and remained on the job until the work was complete. They went above and beyond what was expected. When the roofers arrived they took care to cover everything that might get damaged. They started early in the morning and worked tirelessly into the evening to get the job done in a timely manner….only stopping for the inevitable rain showers they had to endure almost every day. They were always pleasant and courteous. Lon Smith’s teams did not consider the job complete simply because the new roof was installed. Workers thoroughly cleaned our yard and amazingly left no nails and no trash. A few days later they came back to install the gutters and finalize the job. We love the material and the color of our roof. We have already received several compliments on the roof from friends and neighbors. We might have been able to save a little money by using a different company but LSR's cost was competitive. And, several times over the last 30 years we have replaced roofs due to hail damage and have never been as satisfied with a company as we were with Lon Smith Roofing. They simply were outstanding in all aspects of the job from beginning to end. We had a great experience using Lon Smith to replace our roof after a hail storm. We initially had another company come out and look at our roof and once we filed our claim they would not provide us with a quote unless we told them how much the insurance company was going to give us. I thought this was very shady and decided to try another roofing company "Lon Smith" that was recommended by a friend. Trent came out for the initial inspection of the roof and he spent a solid hour to write everything up to make sure it was all documented. Once the insurance company came out and told us how much they would pay for the roof replacement, Lon Smith worked on my behalf to negotiating with the insurance company on why the replacement of the roof was more then originally quoted by the insurance company. It was nice to not have to do this part on my own. Trent did let us know that our roof did not have adequate ventilation according to today's standards/code. At no cost to us, they installed more ventilation and also upgrade the previous ventilation that was used. The actual replacement of the roof went as well as I would think a roof replacement could go. They showed up right on time in the morning, and began bright and early. I went to work, while my wife stayed home during the installation, and by the time I returned from work at 5 they were completely done. They did a wonderful job laying out tarps to catch nails and debris. They also performed a thorough cleanup. One thing that separated Lon Smith from the rest besides everything that I previously mentioned was, they have an employee come by a few days later to inspect the work that was completed to make sure everything was installed correctly. They also asked if we had any concerns, which we mentioned a few minor things like we could see some finger prints on the siding of the house, which he took care of. So to sum it up, I would say it was a pleasure to work with Lon Smith, and they really did a great job on our roof.

Each representative I encountered was pleasant and extremely professional, from the estimator to the final inspector. They took great care to protect my property and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards. My new roof looks great! I highly recommend this company.

We had a complex claim due to storm damage and damage caused when chimney stack was replaced (not by Lon Smith). Lon Smith was easy to work with and went out of their way to keep cost within claim limit without compromising on quality.

Roof started and was completed on time. Miguel the inspector did an awesome job. Crew was fast and did a great clean up job.

During some heavy rain in August, what turned out to be a multi-year leak in my roof caused a portion of the ceiling in a bedroom to collapse, allowing water to drip on furniture. I called as soon as I discovered it. Even though it was after regular business hours, they sent someone to patch the roof within an hour. I turned to them again to do the work prescribed by the insurance adjuster and am very pleased with the results. Everyone with whom I dealt was professional, courteous, and thorough. This was not my first experience with this company, and I will continue to call in them when needed.

If asked if I would recommend Lon Smith Roofing to a family member or close friend, the answer would be a definite YES! The crew was professional and always showed up either on time or early. I was impressed with how hard everyone worked even though it was so hot outside. Each day the crew stayed well past what would qualify as a long day. Finally, the job was done well and on time!
