When I phoned, Saul happened to have just finished a job in my area, and he had a 2-hour time window available. He asked if it would be convenient for him to come and complete my job immediately. I was delighted to be able to get the job done so quickly. He arrived, looked at the ceiling fan and location and quoted a price to me. I agreed to the price. My home is older, constructed in the 1930s. Saul ran into minor issues with the wiring, but quickly installed the fan. Before beginning the job, he suggested that I cover the area below the light fixture to avoid getting it dirty. After the installation, he picked up and disposed of the trash (plastic from the fan parts, etc.) Even though the job took a little longer than expected due to the minor issues noted above, Saul charged me the $135 that we had agreed to. He is friendly and professional. The fan works great and is quiet. He made sure that it was balanced properly. I had expected him to install just the fan, but he also installed the complete light kit and bulbs.

They did not do anything for the amount that they had advertised through Angie's List. They did a wonderful. It's just that it wasn't the rate that he advertised.

I had a concern about a possible electrical issue that was causing a burning smell. Saul explained in-depth what the problems may be and provided a list of possible solutions. He never pressured me to use his services and was completely up-front on what the possible costs would be. The next time I need electrical work, I will be contacting Saul & Jacobs Electrical.

He was prompt in returning calls and explained everything as he went along. When a scheduling conflict arose, he offered to come out to my home a day early, at 4pm, and stayed until well after hours to make sure everything got done.

I was pleasantly surprised that Mr. Flores was willing to come two days before Christmas. We had agreed on a morning appointment, and he texted me when he was on his way. He was very professional and brought a positive, friendly attitude to the job. It had rained earlier that morning, and he showed concern about not muddying my floors. He quickly identified the issue (a damaged power line between the house and garage) and replaced the line. He checked that all outlets, lights, etc. were working before preparing the bill. He explained how he came up with his charges. As he was leaving, he reminded me to close the garage door. He was pulling out of the driveway and saw that the door wasn't working anymore. (It had worked when he finished the job.) He pulled back into the driveway without my asking and fixed the garage door. He didn't make an additional charge.

Overall, very happy. He gave me an up front ball-park estimate over the phone based on what we thought it would require and he explained potential areas where more work might be needed. Saul showed up when he said he would and sent me a text to let me know he was on the way. He was friendly, cleaned up after. Everything was great. I will use this company again if I have any other electrical needs.

My contractor's electrician was unavailable until January, so I asked Saul to come to my house to give me a quote on work that was needed as part of my bathroom remodel project. Not only did Saul give us a very competitive and honest quote but he was able to perform the work the same day he gave us the quote. Saul performed top quality work and suggested creative alternative options that would be cost effective and easier for my wife and I to manage. At the end of the day my wife and I are extremely pleased with Saul's work and our contractor even commented that his work was top quality and very clean. Thank you Saul for all the hard work.

Saul at Jacob's repair arrived at 8:57am for a 9:00am appointment to repair a bathroom light fixture. The problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed in less than 15 minutes. Saul is very friendly and professional. I will definitely use him again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Saul Jacob and his daughter were available a bit earlier than scheduled, which worked great for me. The work was done in a professional manner and for the price on the deal coupon I had purchased from Angie's List. The fan works great as installed; no issues with his work. Saul prefers to provide service to residential customers. He considers a condominium building, such as I live in, as a commercial building rather than a residential building, which surprised me. He honored the coupon but planned to remove it due to confusion over "residential." I checked above that I would not use this provider in the future because of this company's preference to work only in single family residential situations.

We needed someone to install replacement lighting in a rennovated bathroom, and decided to get a few additional electric repairs done as well. I was very impressed with Saul's responsiveness (he called back immediately, scheduled the initial appointment promptly, and the follow up appointment as well). He gives off signals of being a professional with great integrity who does reliable and honest work. I would hire him back without hesitation, and recommend him to friends. I didn't read his ad carefully the first time, to notice that there would be a diagnostic fee (that is, he does not do free estimates), but this is clearly part of his advertised policy, so, seems fair in the end.

Work was perfect. Got emergency service better than I could have hoped for. He has my business forever!

Was concerned about both electrical outlets in the master bath. Noticed a burned spot on one outlet cover. Checked Angie's List and really liked what I read about Saul from Jacob's Electrical Repair. I called and he answered right away. I explained the situation and he said he was just finishing up another call and would come right away. He arrived promptly and worked quickly to diagnose the problem, describing everything he was doing in terms I could easily understand. I was very impressed with his professionalism and expertise. I also thought the price was very fair. Will definitely use him again and will recommend him to others.

I was impressed! They were prompt and professional. After reviewing all the things I wanted completed, they began working on the ceiling fans. They removed the old fans and after installing the first fan they called me in to make sure it was what I wanted. They also went through how the remote worked since this was my first fan of this type. After finishing all fans and cleaning the work areas, they went outside to start on disconnecting the power to the patio that is being renovated. I was very happy with all the work that was completed!

Saul did a fantastic job! He corrected issues into and inside of a secondary breaker panel that was installed incorrectly. It was wired incorrectly and to my understanding, illegally because it violated several code requirements. This was not part of my initial scope of work, but upon discovery of the issue, Saul decided to adjust his schedule to accommodate the repair. His attitude toward quality and workmanship is refreshing to find these days! Had the electricians that wired this house when it was built had similar ethics, Saul's extra services would not have been required. Saul did a great job in hiding the outlets on the plant ledges. Things could not have gone better with my experience with Saul at Jacobs Electrical Repair. He was very professional, always on time, honest, really knew his stuff, and what he quoted me was exactly what I paid and he finished when he said he would. I will use him in the future for sure.

I called Saul on a Saturday because the breaker kept tripping on our hot water heater. He arrived about an hour after I called and diagnosed that the wiring inside the water heater was not installed properly leaving metal wire exposed causing the wire to ark. Saul told me that he normally doesn't work on Saturday, but that this sounded like an emergency. I will definitely use Jacobs Electrical Repairs for all my future electrical needs.

What a terrific company! They were incredibly responsive, very professional when they were conducting the service and also of excellent quality. It's not often you feel as comfortable with a contractor as I did with Jacobs. I would absolutely use them again.

We were having a bridge party for 20 of our neighborhood friends when we realized a few hours before the party that the outside up-lights that provide light on the circle drive and the front of the house were not working. In a panic, I checked Angie's List to see which electricians in Fort Worth, TX were highly rated. I called a firm I was impressed with rating-wise, and immediately got Saul Flores, owner of Jacobs Electrical Repair at 7400 Llano in Fort Worth. Saul promised to come out that day, even though it was already in the early afternoon. He was able to fix the lights temporarily, with the promise that he would be back to finish the large job of tracing what was causing the GFI (Ground Fault Indicator) to trip, cutting off the lights. Saul timely set up a return appointment and found the problem and fixed it, so we no longer worry about a fire hazard. We were so very impressed that we added several items to the work order, and have been very pleased with Saul's work, how easy he is to talk with, how creative he is with lighting ideas, etc. He is wonderful to work with, and very fair with his pricing. I am a registered Interior Designer in Texas and Virginia who has been in the business of dealing with contractors in all the trades for over 40 years. I can honestly say Saul is one of the most professional of all the people I have worked with in the building trades. I highly recommend him and his electrical work!
