Excellent. Both fireplaces cleaned, inspected, and repaired.

He was extremely professional and all business. He checked all components of my fireplace, readjusted my ceramic logs for better flow, and added necessary sand. He noticed my grate was peeling, so he painted it at no charge. Geoff took the time to make sure everything was right with not only the chimney, but all aspects of the fireplace. I was very impressed. He cleaned my dryer vent, even though the appointment was only for the chimney. I definitely feel that I received more than I paid for on this visit.

They did an excellent job, both in cleaning and assessment of the chimney's condition. They offered some improvements - a chimney cap and a heat reflector shield - which we decided to accept. The work was completed at the same time. They will return at a later date to repair a loose brick on the top of the chimney.

Well. Geoff is very thorough and price was very good as compared with other bids received.

It went fine, he left everything clean.

Geoff cleaned one chimney and fireplace, including painting the fire bricks and cleaning the logs. It looks and works great now. He also fixed a leak in another chimney and left everything cleaned up and looking good. He also took care of any problems that showed up as he was working, including replacing a pilot thermocouple that quit while he was here. He re-stacked the logs to make them work better and cleared up the problem of the pilot fumes not going up the flue. We will definitely use him again for any fireplace and chimney work.

Geoff was contacted on short notice, but was able to squeeze me into his schedule. He was running late and called to confirm that a late arrival was workable. There was some discrepancies in the MLS, Sellers Disclosure and fact on exactly what this fireplace and chimney were designed for. Geoff set to work quickly and professionally. A lot was found that helped me immensely in negotiations. There's something to be said for having an Irishman as your Sweep. Any future work will have Geoff at my side and in my chimney.

Geoff was great, timely and thorough. He and his partner explained every step, made sure my wife and I had a complete understanding of the fireplace and left us feeling confident. We will hire him for any and all future fireplace services.

I called for an appointment and got a reply the same day. The business had a cancellation and was able to provide the cleaning on the same day. The business offered tips and pointers to keeping the chimney clean and also provided info on a Chimney cap. They were very professional. I was use them again any time.

They were amazing and friendly. I put my big dog up and left my puppy out and they were great with her. Super friendly and engaging. I also let the person o set the appointment with only that I had a day sleeper in the house and not to ring doorbell. So they called me when they arrived. Amazing service and let me know if possible future problems. I seriously would recommend to all my friends and family that I like ;-). Will continue to use them for my fireplace needs.

Geoff Lowans, the owner, came to my house and was able to get the gas furnace running after many years of not running by the previous owner. He not only is a professional he is also a teacher. He stepped me though the entire process and asked me to start the pilot and the furnace so I would know how to do it in the future. He had all of the equipment to clean the gas furnace, check the outside vent and even checked my dryer vent. I couldn't have asked for a better job in fact I gave him a tip. Excellent work.

Unable to remove dead animal

I called and he came a few days to a week later. He came on time. He completed everything that day. He came prepared with all the necessary parts. He cleaned up very well too

Good price for an inspection and cleaning. Owner was nice and informative. He took pictures of the external portion of my chimney to show possible maintenance issues and shared what could be done to resolve the issues.

Wanted to use this company based on good reviews. But I will not be using this company simply based on the lack of return correspondence.

They did a great job! It was very well priced. Everything is good. I got more service than I would have ever expected from them. It was really good, it was awesome! I got them from Angie's List. They were friendly and on time. There were two of them, one was downstairs and one was outside working on the top of the chimney. They even went down to polishing the glass, casing around the fireplace and the grates and vacuuming everything out. I just did not expect them to do all that. It's not like they really made a mess but we had never used the fireplace since we lived here. They even left a note that the chimney has been inspected. I would take them anywhere I go.

They were very thorough and explained everything in detail and answered all my questions and concerns. We have been concerned about having a fire in the fireplace and they put our mind at ease and assured us it was safe. Then they replaced the embers and painted the back of the fireplace to where it looks really nice. I will be hiring them again next month to add a cap on the top of the chimney! Would definitely recommend them! Very honest and punctual! Showed up the same day and did the work!

I feel much safer having the chimney inspected. It had been several years since we had used it. There was an 80 ft. pine tree a few feet from it and after removing the tree we looked forward to using the fireplace again. These guys did a good job and got it going again. They had to fashion a piece of sheet metal to fit in the flue next to the shutoff where water had seeped in and rusted out a small piece. They told us about the fire-back panels that you can use to direct more heat in to the house. We didn't purchase one at the time, but the price quoted was comparable to ones online. I highly recommend these guys. I will be calling them back next year to check things out again. Thanks Guys.

Geoff came the same day I called for an appointment on a very bad day to travel. He got my gas log fireplace working again at a price lower than an authorized dealer. He knew what he was doing.

The gas fireplace in a "new-to-us" home would not ignite. Geoff resolved the problem in just a couple of minutes! He also cleaned the entire fireplace (including the glass doors) and rearranged the gas logs so they ignited properly - we were not expecting this to be part of his service. He explained how to efficiently use the fireplace. Geoff had an unexpected problem earlier in the day, which caused our appointment to be moved back a bit - he called us with updates on his arrival time. Even though he had a very long day, he was pleasant, efficient and thorough. The fireplace area was spotless when he left. We found him to be honest and fair with his charges - since we had no idea of what was wrong with the ignition switch, he could have told us it was much more serious than a loose wire inside the firebox. Thank you Geoff!! We will definitely call him for any future fireplace issues and will be calling him to clean our dryer vent.

The owner and a technician did a fabulous. What a difference the set-up of the logs and some extra ambers on the right spot can make! Our old fireplaces look spectacular now! The two gentleman are most polite, careful not to drag dirt in or out the house, cover their workspace, clean up after themselves ... EXCELLENT company.

Geoff was great! He had done some work for my neighbor and was prompt, accurate with his month that he had done a few months before and was very thorough with his explanation of all that was done. He also left me with some literature with some tips for wood burning fireplaces like mine.

Everything worked like clockwork. He was very professional and focused on his work. He brought a helper with them, and they both stayed busy the whole time they were here. We were very pleased with their work and with the price.

Great! Geoff was able to come out to my house the day I called him. He is quite, but very nice and professional. Got the job done in a timely manner...and he was VERY neat!!!
