 + -1 moreReplacement of 8 of the original windows in my home required the installation of new sensors in the frames and under the window panes. The repair/installation technician, James, came out on two-day notice at no charge to check out the windows while they were being installed to see what kind of sensors were required. He gave a verbal quote of $200 and $65 labor for a new wireless transmitter/receiver with a new window sensor needed on a window which previously had none. There was no additional charge for the sensors replaced in the 7 new windows. He said he could come out the following weekend to complete the installation and showed up as planned. He installed the sensor on the new window, however its original battery wasn't installed correctly which required another service call to replace it the following week. After this service call, at no extra charge, the new wireless unit works well, as do all the other new sensors.
Description of Work: Added wireless transmitter, receiver and sensor to new window. Replaced sensors in frames of 7 newly installed windows.
