Description of Work: Have used this guy in the past three times, he was very slow, but "got the job done", this is on rental properties, so the quality was not of much concern.This last time, he went out and made a detailed list, to get a property ready to rent. He asked me for $3500.00 up front for materials. I knew he was padding, but was ok with this to a point. He never went and purchased anything! Instead gave me sob stories of his "$2600 speeding ticket" (yes twnety six hundred) for doing 70 in a 55. He supposedly got this ticket, 5 weeks ago, I called Denton where he claimed this occured, and they have never heard of him. At this point I asked him for a receipt of the $3500, I had given him 20 days prior and he had yet to do anythign for me (exept tear up the property while making his list of things to do, and not put back) After demanding to see the reciept for $3500 of material for 5 days, he finaly sent me a reciept, dated the day before. (the receipt was for only $2400 of hardware). I called Home Depot and they informed me he purchased the materials, then 6 minutes later, claimed the customer cancelled, then RETURNED it ALL and got his money......yet, sent ME the receipts NEVER tellimg me he returned anything! When I confronted him, he had MANY reasons "why" he HAD to do this.......NONE of which I beleive. I contacted the DA, and was preparing to file Felony Fraud charges on him, when he "offered" to give me back $2500 of the $3500.....finally settled on $2700. He kept $800.......just becuase. I'm currrenly working on resolving that matter. Borrom line.....well, do I NEED to tell you ? Read above........DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Description of Work: I was going to hire him to fix a handle on the door entrance.

Description of Work: Jason responded promptly to initial call, came out and gave estimate of $325 to install cabinet handles in kitchen and 2 baths as well as towel bars, towel rings, and toilet paper holders in baths. I also wanted a cabinet (purchased online, assemble-it-yourself furniture) assembled; he explained that since it had drawers, he didn't feel he could do it, recommended a cabinet company, said their price would be about $125. Since I had paid only $75 for cabinet, I decided not to do this. Arranged for him to install kitchen and bathroom hardware one week later.

Description of Work: He had to replace weather stripping on our metal doors and put in a new lock on the back door. He was very professional. He came and gave us an estimate of what it would cost and then came back and did the work. Very professional and did a great job!
