+ -1 moreQuite well in general. The workman did not get my instructions right about one area and some retiling was done in a way I do not like. If he was unsure about how I wanted it done, I wish he would have asked before proceeding and doing something that coulc not be reversed.

+ 1 moreKendra and Kurtis, the owner, were very helpful on the phone when I called to find out if their restorative colorant/sealant could assist me with my flooring needs. Kurtis explained in detail how their product would work. The next day James came to my house to show me the product applied in a test area. It looked great! Two professional technicians came out a few weeks later and applied the colorant/sealant to most of the flooring in my house. The color looks good and the restoration colorant/sealer even comes with a warranty.

Joe arrived on time for each appointment and was very professional and did an excellent job. + -1 moreJoseph did a great job from start to finish. He was punctual, professional and easy to work with. At the end he wanted me to inspect the work to make sure it was done to my satisfaction. It was, but when he came back to finish he felt there was a few spots that weren't to his satisfaction so he came back again to fix them. I was very impressed! It would have been easy to ignore them. I would definately call this company again in the future.
Description of Work: Replace 2 broken ceramic tiles, repaired and glued one that had come up, replaced grout in spots that were damaged, cleaned all grout and tile and resealed all grout in kitchen and entry way.

He is professional in his manner, listens to your concerns and requests, communicates well during all phases of the project and is willing to take the time to get the project completed as requested. I will definitely hire him again for any future projects.

+ 1 moreIt went really smooth I was expecting a mess to clean up but when the guys left I did not have to do one thing...except stay out of the shower for a few days (which was the hardest part) because I'm not a tub soaker like my husband.
Description of Work: Groutsmith sealed all my new tile on the floors in 2 bathrooms ,walls in showers in 2 bathrooms, wall around tub in 1 bathroom,Sealed my new granite countertops, Sealed my fireplace and Sealed my new subway tile on 2 walls in the kitchen.

+ 0 moreJoseph was responsive to my inquiry and provided an estimate after I sent him pictures of the area to be worked on. He was punctual and did the work efficiently and quickly. He was pleasant to have in our home. The area he worked on was caulking around the tub where it meet with the tile wall. After years of use, it needed to be removed and replaced, and that is what he did. It took about 1 1/2 hours.
Description of Work: Joseph removed old caulk around a tub with tile walls and replaced with new.

Description of Work: Joseph Sepin, the Area manager did the work himself. He was pleasant and polite and a hard worker. He restored and cleaned my walk-in shower. We are not first owners and another owner had tried to do some additional water sealing but the result wasn't looking great. Then I neglected it. Joe really restored walls, ceiling and floor. Great job!

He was very friendly, thorough, and non-judgemental; my shower was awful looking, so I really appreciate that part! :) He completely cleaned up our sad-looking grout, and re-caulked both shower and tub. They look fabulous! He also took it upon himself to clean up our messy shower-head, and this is the best it has EVER worked! We highly recommend Joe from Groutsmith of Twin Cities.

He recommended a cleaner for grout maintenance. The tile and grout looked like new when he was done. I would defenately recommend him grout and tile cleaning.

Description of Work: After buying the big deal I immediately tried to contact them by the given phone number they emailed me. It did not appear to be working. I called Angies List and they gave me some alternative phone numbers outside of Minnesota where I live. They must have contacted Groutsmith themselves ad I finally got a call from Kurtis and we set up an apt for him to assess the work I needed done. He scheduled it for Wed., 9/3/14 @ 5:30 pm. I made sure I was home from work in time for the assessment and waited. Around 8:30 pm I finally called and got a voice mail on which I left a message. I got a call back that night and he said he would meet me on Wed., 9/10/14 @ 5:30 pm. I agreed. Again on that Wed. I got home from work in time for the assessment and waited and waited. I never did hear from Kurtis. At this point I decided I did not want this company doing any work in my house. That is why I am asking for a refund on the Big Deal. Brett Wagner

Description of Work: Not well. The Big Deal was advertised as $125 for grout cleaning and sealing for a 3-walled enclosed bathtub shower. While I knew that the costs would be higher for a shower, I never expected the bid to come in at $590 - an amount that was well outside our budget parameters. We refused to follow through with the work in light of the cost.

+ 1 moreJoe was prompt and did a great job on the initial visit explaining the process. I initially purchased an Angie's List big deal, then added the bathroom floor after the initial demonstration. I am looking forward to no more "on my knees" cleaning. I just purchased the house and it is really nice to eliminate the ground in dirt and stains.
Description of Work: I dealt with Joe in the Twin Cities, MN. Excellent service. The tile walls and floors in the bath look great.
