+ -1 moreI called this company because they were recommended by a real estate agent. I explained I thought I had carpenter ants in the master bath, but that I do not use pesticides at all. I was assured that they would inspect and it was mentioned that the attic would be checked as well and they could accommodate me. I made an appointment. The person arrived about an hour after he intended and asked why I thought I had carpenter ants. After my description, he said I had them and proceeded to begin spraying the baseboards by my front door! I yelled for him to stop as I had no intention of spraying the entire house and directed him to the bathroom where he sprayed the window area and the bath tub. I then showed him outside where he also wanted to spray the entire perimeter of the house which would kill any bug in the yard! Not what I wanted at all. When I asked about bait, he said he could do that and placed some in the bath which would have been best to begin with since he knew I did not want pesticides. All this and I was charge $80 for a quick spray in and out and three squirts of bait. Worth it just to get him to go away.

+ -1 moreNothing about the experience stood out, good or bad. They did a good job. They had a really big window that they could come out and do the inspection, so punctuality wasn’t even applicable but they were good.
Description of Work: We used Environmental Pest Control. I had pest control inspection in conjunction with the purchase of the house. They just did an inspection and provided the report. There was no evidence of any termite in the report so there was no service required. When we did discover some termites, it was in an area that the inspection could not have covered, it was behind the wall of the shower stall that came up while we were having our bathroom remodeled. They looked up in the attic, crawlspaces and other exposed spaces.

+ -1 moreThey didn’t charge us for it, which I thought was pretty generous of them to not charge because there was no way any termite inspection would discover that. We discovered that because we thought we had termites pouring out of the shower so they couldn’t have caught that when they were here for the termite inspection. They did what they said they would. There was nothing bad about them.
Description of Work: We found some termite mud mounts and some termite damage in one of our bathrooms while remodeling it and we called Environmental Pest Control. They did a local treatment of the area.

+ -1 moreThis company is obviously honest and operates on integrity or they would have charged us for the evaluation. They were prompt, cordial and seemed to care about what they were doing. I plan to have them come back for checkups in the future and they are my company of choice for treatments down the road if I need it.
Description of Work: This environmentally friendly pest control company came to our home to do a termite inspection and evaluation. They found termite evidence but charged us nothing because they said the evidence was all from before and no current treatment was needed.
