ELIZABETH ANNA'S OLD WORLD GARDEN

Elizabeth is a talented and passionate landscape designer--her methods are all organic and environmentally sound--and she likes to do things her way! I don't have a problem with this as our ideas and philosophies are very similar, but I can see where it might work against Elizabeth Anna's, the business! We had a very hard-working crew at our house for a couple of weeks, on and off, including Elizabeth's son and husband. When a retrofit of our front "pond" was still resulting in a leak, they spent many additional hours working on it, without charging us more than the quoted contract. This was in the fall, and now that it is spring, the fruits of this endeavor are really beginning to show. We receive so many compliments from neighbors, and others who come to our door. A few of the plants have not done very well, and I will be visiting the garden center to see about replacements (they do guarantee their plants for 30 days, but I have a feeling that they will work with me, as one of this grouping died in the fall). Our neighbors are now enlisting Elizabeth Anna's after seeing our yard and asking us for a referral.

The overall plan was very good, but the workmanship was very shoddy, and the response to our questions was rudeness and not professional. Most of the plants died within 6 months of being planted, due to too much fertilizer in the beds, or other poor planting methods. We were very disappointed in this company.

Worst contract experience of my life and I have had many contractors over the years. Poor to none on going communication, flimsy contract (my fault for accepting it), vague details, didn't stand behind their work or their subs when things went wrong, nothing was ever their fault. I could go on.

We got great compost material for our yard and it really was appreciated. The 'Texas Tea' included cow caca and other organic materials. Our lawn perked right up. We would love to work with them again.
