DON’T. JUST DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. We hired them for our move from Bedford, Texas to Lubbock, Texas. Granted we did have to change the dates a A lot, and they were very supportive in this. I had never sold the house and had to do a long distance move like this on my own. So they were very patient and very kind with this Offer a military discount. Which was very nice. HOWEVER. With 15 minutes of them, showing up an antique, which was my great grandmother’s, basin, and picture was shattered. That should’ve been my first clue. My father overheard employees talking about smoking pot, and that it was “” beer, 30 somewhere. The rooms were not packed all at once. They were randomly done. I have unpacked boxes that had things from four different rooms in one box. I had $300 coats crammed down inside of a box. My shower curtain was wired up in a box with other bathroom items. I had a blanket that they used to wrapped a glass shadowbox, and then crammed spray bottles of no goop and other cleaning items inside the box that leaked all over the blanket. they crammed Louis Vuitton purses in a box. There were broken figurines, broke a leg on one of my couches. Half of my kitchen was wrapped the other half was not. Breakables half were wrapped the other half or not. Wall hangings crammed in boxes and not anything around them for protection paper, or anything of that nature. This was the saddest, most unprofessional move I’ve ever dealt with. And I was in the military. My dryer was dented. It was a horrible, horrible experience. I’m quite sure there’s more because I’ve got tons of pictures if y’all want to see them. I’ve turned them into the claims department still haven’t heard from them. As much as I’ve spoken to Miss Rhonda on my disbelief of how this went, I would’ve expected a call from James the owner by now. But guess what? James has not even bothered to call me. And poor Miss Rhonda bless her heart. She is an amazing, amazing lady. She is the one that had to take the brunt of all of this. I really do apologize to her because it’s not her fault. But this is ridiculous. And the last week I’ve talked to her maybe three times, James has not bothered to call me one time. I also gave James two weight machines and a chest of drawers. Because we couldn’t take them with us. There were other little items that I offered to the guys that came to pack and load the truck that day, they were More focused within the first 30 minutes of being there on the items that I was giving them then actually starting the job. I bought and paid for lunch both days which ran me about $80. No we did not tip them. After all of this, my husband was like there is no tipping anything for this. It was also a little weird that employees were kind of **** talking the owner as well. No, I do not recommend this moving company. They just crammed stuff in the truck. Granted, we were trying to get all of it into one truck so I didn’t have to pay for another one. But I mean this was ridiculous. I even told them there were things that were not to be packed that were not going with me. They were packed. They were loaded on the truck. And they were deliver to my new home in Lubbock. I even had a contractors bag full of regular trash, empty, food containers Etc. that was delivered to my house in Lubbock. Contractors bags with my husband’s clothes and his ball cap shoved down inside of them. My clothes used to wrap breakable items. You can look at the pictures and get the gist of it. I’m only allowed to upload 10 photos. So you can’t see everything that I talk about. Clocks that weren’t wrapped that the hands were damaged on. It was just a huge mess. I do not and I do repeat do not recommend this company. As I said, I’ve spoken to Miss Rhonda, who is an absolute angel probably three times in the last week, and James the owner, has not bothered to reach out to me one time.
Description of Work: Needed my house packed loaded onto a truck and transported to Lubbock, Texas and unpacked.

The only bright spot with this whole thing has been Rhonda, the gal who sets up moves. She's very nice and I am surprised she's still with this company. There were a couple of nice guys in the moving crew that unloaded us in our new home. As to the rest of our experience, we have not yet submitted our claim but will be as soon as we unpack. We have been told there's "a 21 day process". I am hoping that going public with the facts will expedite our claim. To begin with, they wanted cash only money up front and cash only upon completion of the move. We accommodated both ways. I almost wish now that we'd held the second half hostage. My husband called Easy Moving Company, they admitted they didn't storage but said they knew someone with a warehouse and they had used this facility before without any problems. We were not offered pads and shrink wrap, though I doubt the latter would have mattered. We have been through military moves and storage and pads around televisions and on furniture has always been a given, since they remain with the company at the time of the unloading in our new location. No pads showed up though. Everything was unloaded from the vans bare-pickle. Just as they were when loaded into the van. I wish now I had stopped them, but they already had our cash payment. We were assured though, that everything would be well treated. We also should have stopped them from moving anything when they showed up with two young guys who didn't seem to know what they were doing and ended up dropping our refrigerator onto a concrete back patio. These two young guys (one turned out to be a movers' son) tried to move my french double door, two year old, Whirlpool out the back door. I had already had the handles removed and had secured the glass inside (thank God). If you know anything about moving a fridge on a dolly over a hump, you go BACKWARDS. You do not try to force the dolly forwards! But this kid did and, when I told him to “stop! God backwards!” he didn't listen. Suddenly there was a KATHUMP and the fridge slid off the dolly onto the concrete. I guess it should make me feel better that the kids' father yelled at him. But it doesn't. The fridge is working- for now. But we'll see how things go down the road. Lets begin with a very large, Carolina Furniture dresser and hutch set, shall we? I've had this piece for over 15 years and its been through several military moves. And not ONCE was there as much as a scratch on it. It's pretty hard to scratch solid wood. It takes some effort. I get it back from Easy Moving Company and guess what I find? A very substantial deep scrape (not scratch but scrape) across the top, right in the front. It looks like someone put another item on it and pulled the piece across the top of my dresser. The scrape is around 1/8th inch deep to 1/4 inch. Plus there were numerous nicks and dents into the wood. This was not a "distressed" piece nor was it intended to be so. But I admit that I got quite distressed when I saw it. If you're not familiar with Carolina Furniture, this stuff is SOLID WOOD. Not cheap particle board. The entire unit weighs in excess of 250 pounds. Probably closer to 400 if you take the two pieces together. It's not like you can just use the hutch, either. You can't buy replacements. Next thing on the docket is a forged, cast iron floor lamp. Not only did they crush and skew the part where the light bulb screws in, they somehow managed to break the feet of the stand- which so happens to be made of HORSE SHOES. ****! A horse can't even break those but these bozos managed to! Next comes my $500.00 dining table. We bought it on sale just three years ago at Unclaimed Freight. Its one of those that expands by folding from the inside out and comes with six matching chairs. It's a cute set when its not scratched up and looking like someone set stuff all over it. I should note here that one of the movers, with no shyness whatsoever, tried to cover the moving mistakes with marker and crayon. I know he did because he did it IN FRONT OF ME. It only made things worse. So next on the list is my desk. We were able to fix the problem but I had told those doofuses: DO NOT REMOVE THE DOORS; DO NOT UNSCREW THINGS. For some reason these people tried to remove one door, realized it wasn't going to come off, and left it. My husband was able to fix it. This was apparently the case with a number of pieces where they were told NOT to unscrew or unhinge things. They managed to scratch the heck out of a 1950's encyclopedia Britanica book shelf unit (the two-shelf kind). They broke our son's bed . And the strangest thing of all, somehow they managed to let a log (or some large pole) fall on a box marked EXTREMELY BREAKABLE. I'm scared to open the box. What part of EXTREMELY BREAKABLE could not be understood? A perfectly fine flat screen television now has circuitry damage. We are going to take this in for repairs. For now we have to unplug it and replug it back into the Wally unit to get sound. Also on the permanently gone list is a ceramic carousel horse music box a dear friend made for me many years ago. This is irreplaceable. I cannot begin to put a value on this item and it was so sad that I could not get it repaired. The carousel top was completely torn out of the base. And the horse had its legs busted off. My half moon side table also took it tough. Looks like they piled things on and around it. Scraped the heck out of it, too. Cute little table now looks distressed- just like me! They als managed to take a small bite out of my cedar chest top as well and to put nicks into our brand new, bought this year, coffee table. The last thing was my sewing table. Admittedly it wasn't the sturdiest piece to begin with. I got it off of lakeside. But they managed to totally break a leg and, when we opened it up, it fell completely apart. I'm not even finished unpacking and frankly, I am scared to look. Contained within my belongings, including badly dented boxes, are some antique dresses in shadow boxes. These go back to my grandmother and came from my mother, who just passed away at age 98. Also carefully packed by me (wrapped in a thick blanked then boxed) is my father and mothers' wedding cake topper dating to 1943. It was made of sugar and I encased it in a large, thick bell jar. I am very scared to look inside the dented boxes to see what damage has been done. I have not submitted a claim as yet because I am not sure the extent of the damage (as if the above isn't enough?) All I can say is that this has been the worst move we have ever had and we have had plenty of moves over 22 years in the Navy.

Not only is "Easy Moving Company" the absolute nightmare of anyone moving, they are honestly the worst "business" of ANY type that I have ever dealt with! Completely crooked, dishonest and non caring. They will absolutely lie to your face. The sites that show them to have good reviews are crooked and governed by the moving company itself so believe these reviews over others you may see. This dishonest business refuses to even deal with the Better Business Bureau that I reported them to! There are plenty of movers to transport your valuable items---don't make the horrible mistake of using this one!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! The movers look like thugs, they broke several things, and after I paid for 2 days worth of service, the movers got to the new location and told the other person there that they needed to get paid cash, even though I just wrote them a check. The next moving day, they were suppose to be at our office to move the rest of the stuff between 3-5pm. At 5:15 I called and they said they were behind on a job, but unloading in Arlington and would be at my office in an hour. At 6:30, after no one was there still, I called and was told that they were finishing a job in Ft Worth, even though an hour and a half before they said they were in Arlington. Finally at 7:30 pm I called again and the lady told me that they were unable to make it and, "that's what happens when you book the last apt of the day." Unprofessional, dishonest crooks.
Description of Work: We were suppose to be moving offices between a 2 day period, but had to hire another moving company after the first day.

The crew called and was able to get there early, though they were 45 minutes later than they thought they would be (which was still more than an hour earlier than the scheduled time). The team was efficient and took care to wrap delicate furniture for the most part, but in the end, they shattered a (relatively inexpensive) floor length mirror. The move required the crew to unload my belongings from the Uhaul to a third floor apartment, and I didn't hear a single complaint. They booked it and managed to do it all in the allotted two hour time window. Overall, it was a positive experience, and I would use them again.
Description of Work: I hired Easy Movers to load/unload my Uhaul truck for an in-town move. They were iffy on scheduling me for my requested time because they had an earlier move and were unsure if they would finish on time, but they offered to call me if they finished earlier.

Description of Work: This was the biggest cluster mistake ever. Nothing was packed the way it was supposed to be they hired out two other companies. They were rude they wanted cash and packers took $500 in cash more than they were supposed to and the movers would not come back for last load and unload into a public facility which they had originally said was theirs. Until I paid them in cash. It was horrible there was not one good thing about them.

This was the worst moving experience I have ever had. The movers showed up in the late afternoon/early evening 2 hours after my given time window. None of my furniture was wrapped or given care. By 10:00 PM the movers still had another trip to do. They said they were tired and would come back first thing in the morning at 8:00 AM to finish our moves. I had noticed they weren't being gentle with my furniture and thought it would be for the best if they came back fresh so they would be more patient and careful with my belongings. They never showed up the next day. After many phone calls to the main line and having to argue with the woman operating the phones, I was able to have the crew come back and complete the move. They arrived a little after 3:00 PM. The crew was rude and told me that my husband was easy going and I was uptight. I wanted to argue that I'm only uptight when I'm getting screwed over by somebody, but in fear of having more items broken, I didn't say anything. After the move I noticed that literally every major piece of furniture I own (beds, cribs, armoirs, bookshelves, entertainment centers, dressers) was damaged. They almost dropped an armoir down the stairs and put a huge gash in the sheetrock. I photographed everything and sent a detailed report to their claims department. Within a few days, without being called or had anyone come out to look at the damage, I was told my claim was denied and was sent a 20.00 check for them being late. The next night I happened to be watching the local news on Channel 11, and saw there was a news investigation being done on them. I have filed a report with the state and am working with an investigator currently. This is a horrible company that shouldn't be in business. Recently I got another letter from them saying I had overpaid by $50.00 for an unauthorized travel charge that was placed on my account. But, instead of getting $50.00 they subtracted the $20.00 I was given for my "claim" and gave me a check for $30.00. There is also a video of this company on you tube posted by someone who had surveillance footage of a moving crew's recklessness.
