DAN DAVIS APPLIANCE REPAIR

First off I noticed the frig not cooling as well, and food in the freezer was defrosting on 12/14/13. Over that next week, I called and called, and emailed, and I left voice messages, I left texts to every appliance repair shop that the Angie's had given me. Only one responded back and he was down with the flu. To this date, I've not gotten any other response. So I finally had to start searching further out. This is when I left a voice message with Dan Davis on Christmas Eve. I did receive a call back within 30 minutes from I believe his name was Mike (I am bad with names, so I hope I got his name right). Long story short, I told him my problem, how it's been going down hill over the last week and he said he thinks he knows the problem, and could come that day to check it out. He called 30 mins out, and arrived within that time. And after having to drive all the way back to his shop for a part, my frig was up and running a few hours later. He was curious, explained all that had happened and why it happened. As a guy I love learning about things I know nothing about. These guys got me out of a bad jam during a time when I guess everyone else was out for the holidays. Nothing against the other shops really, but I just find it hard to accept the fact I called them more than a week before the holiday, and no one other than one sick guy bothered to at least call me back and say they were booked solid, or can't get to me until whenever. So I really appreciated the Dan Davis Appliance repair shop for there above and beyond attitude for this new customer.

embarrassing, but very well, showed up on time. my daughter's dryer, said heat was out, service man pointed out dryer was on fluff!!! He was great, I will deal with my daughter!

After calling, Dan arrived the next day. He was prompt & efficient in actions.No time wasted on the clock! He found a broken agitator, had the replacement part on his truck & was finished in less than 30 mins.

He misdiagnosed the entire problem.

Dan's son Zack checked out a suddenly-noisy dishwasher for us and diagnosed a failing pump/motor assembly. He said he'd call the next day (which he did) with the cost of the replacement part(s) and give us the option of repair or replace with a new dishwasher. We checked out prices for new washers and decided to repair the old one. When we called Zack and told him to go ahead and order the part, he said he would credit the remaining unused time from the original service call, since he only used 10 minutes of the 1/2-hour minimum charge. We set a date and time for the replacement and Dan and Zack took care of the job quickly and without a mess. The total labor cost was reasonable and the washer ran almost quieter after the repair than when new. We noticed a slow drip the next day at the under-sink water cutoff which they had turned off during the repair. I tried tightening up the packing nut several times, but was unable to get the slow leak stopped. Dan came back out after I called and was able to stop the leak.

He was great! I will definitely use him again.

HE'S VERY PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND GETS THE JOB DONE RIGHT. HE'S PERSONABLE AND FRIENDLY. I REALLY LIKE HIM. HE IS VERY RESPONSIVE!

HE WAS VERY PUNCTUAL AND ARRIVED AT ALMOST EXACT TIME HE QUOTED. HE WAS SO KIND AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.
