crew cuts tree and lawn service

I called Crew Cuts on April 7, 2011, and spoke with Ralph. We made an appointment for Ralph to come by our home at 12:00pm on Saturday, April 9, 2011, when my husband would be home, to give us an estimate for ongoing lawn/yard work. At 12:15pm on the 9th, Ralph had not shown up, so I called him. He informed me -- 15 minutes after the appointment was to start -- that "something had come up" and he would not be able to come by that day at all. He said he would call me on Wednesday, April 13, to arrange another appointment. He never called. Ralph wasted my time. My husband and I waited around the house and planned our Saturday based on that appointment. And if I hadn't called him, I don't think he would have called to let me know that he would not be able come by. Follow-up and punctuality are very important to me, and Ralph failed in both areas. In my opinion, he and his company are completely unprofessional.

They are a great company. The yard looks great.

I first called Ralph to bid on a tree removal. He did not give me the best quote there, but I asked him to take over my lawn service and he has shown not only a great understanding of lawns and service, but also a willingness to learn the peculiarities of our yard and the way my wife wants the work done. Although he has only worked a short time for us, I am very happy with his work.
