I hired this company Feb 3 to replace a mailbox that was destroyed by a hit and run. First quoted me 400.00 dollars on the day he was to start work he stated it would be 800.00 and he needed 400.00 up front for materials. I was hesitant about the situation I agreed since he came from Angies List I felt I could trust him. He emailed me a receipt through their email to make me feel more at ease. It took him 3 days to come back after I called him repeatedly. He got half way finished with the box the requested the other half. I was working out of town so my daughter paid him 400.00 more cash. That afternoon he stated that he needed more materials and he would be back. To say the least, he did not finish, it is nothing that I chose from his pictures. I am so hurt I work as a critical care nurse caring for COVID patients daily and I get treated like this because I wanted to give someone a chance.

very nice job! high quality of material and he knows his wood work!! but here's the story. I HIRED Chris on June 23, 2010 for a job at another residence of our famly, I could write a novel..long story short, the materials were delivered, and no work ever began after numerous attempts to find out why and get him to work...but nothing. So in turn in Nov 2010 we agree'd as he owed me $965 he would replace some wood trim on my home in need of repair. He started in December, due to a day sleeper in my home, I agreed and he also could work an hour or two in the late afternoons at 4pm -530pm and Sunday's..that lasted a week, then he got into something with anothe job?! somewhere ...now remember, I was a customer 7 months ago and still not done!!! Good Grief..At this point if he'll give me the wood he said is and has already been cut weeks ago...I'll put it up. He did have the flu for several days hey I'm understandable about that of course, but saw him today quite active when he could have done something but again, nothing and his is bad at communication. Seems the customer is always calling to find out status, everything...SAVE YOURSELF SOME GRIEF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he does great work but 7 months now and still not done while I have seen him complete new jobs.and blow me off. I feel lied to, taken advantage of and never again. I've been more than patient, I"m sure more than most customers would have been! It's now Jan 22nd, I have no idea what's giong on. I've been sick with the flu again, only seen him once leaving his house. No calls, or messages, nothing, no updates to the status on my house.. yes he had the flu also, but again no communication since the 17th and It is now Officially 7 months ago since I first hired hiim and I'm done. I don't know if he's working other jobs at odd hours or ?? so I am done. He will not even if he shows up, will he do the work left on my home. I"m done, the work he did do was fantastic but then it slowed down to nothing so never again. As they say "Live and Learn" - I did ;-(
