C T Rugs

Very god job!

Good. We enjoyed his fun personality. He is conveniently located and he picks up and delivers. He was very friendly and wanted to share his tradition of sharing a cup of tea while discussing business. I have no complaints but it did take longer than expected to get our rugs back. His work was excellent. He explained that the CT in his business name was an abbreviation for "Crazy Tom". He seems to love his work.

We have several antique Persian carpets that needed to be cleaned. Tom looked at what we have and suggested we repair them to avoid further deterioration. He also suggested we upgrade our pads to protect such an investment. They came to the house snd picked up half the carpets. It took them a couple weeks to clean them and return them. Then they took the other half and returned them when as promised. The repair work was excellent and the carpets looked great. I was very concerned about getting them cleaned because they are so old and very valuable. After talking to Tom I realized he is an expert about Persian rugs. The project went very smooth and he delivered on all of his promises.

The work has been completed very well - the rug is now clean and the numerous small moth holes have been repaired. The quality of the work is very good. The price is very reasonable considering that this is a very long-haired rug and it's very heavy and hard to handle. It would have been impossible for me to wash this rug myself. Timing lacks a little, although I neglected to follow up. I left the rug in February 2011, When I called about it in May, the work had not been done. When I went to pick it up about 3 weeks later, it was complete. I would recommend that if you need your rug back by a certain time, that you must state so up front and follow up. The owner's custom is to offer a cup of hot spicy tea when bringing in the rug and picking it up. I find this very quaint and lovely! Be sure to allow extra time for the tea. I really like the owner - very personable and friendly.

I dropped off my rug for service ~2/17/11. I went to pick up my rug on 2/27/11. The rug appears to be clean and fresh. CT mailed the appraisal portion of my service to my home address - I received the document the week of 2/28/11. CT appears to be very knowledgeable regarding high end rugs. He was personable and friendly. I will plan to utilize his services again in the future.

My parents purchased this rug used 25 years ago and gave it to use 15 years ago. We did not take proper care of it and it started to show holes that concerned us. The owner is very personable and took the time to explain what he needed to do for the holes and how he was going to clean the rug. In addition to the lesson, he offered a cup of tea and one to go when we were done. I was not in a hurry for the rug's return (we were doing work in the room and didn't need it back soon) so I cannot speak to punctuality. I picked up the rug and had to look hard for the repairs. The padding he recommended made a big difference on how the rug looks and feels in our living room. The padding was expensive but worth it.

It was very good service. It was very unique. He does business more in the eastern style than the western style. He comes and visits you over a cup of tea and there is this presale ceremony and it is very fun and original. He loves his rugs and he calls himself crazy tom because Americans understand that better than his real name. That is what C T stands for. He was crazy and fun and did a good job. Actually he forgot the tea so he stopped and got something from one of the popular coffee shops. He apologized about that and we told him that we didn't need tea but he was serious that we sit down and talk about it. It was fun. His price was fair. Neither of us was punctual but we understood each other; we were not in a hurry.

We delivered our rug to the store and everyone involved was quite friendly and professional. Tom described exactly what was needed to restore the rug and he quoted a very reasonable price. The work was completed right on schedule. We are totally satisfied and would definitely recommend their service.

When they were returned to us they were GLOWING! They did an amazing job and without a doubt knew what they were doing. The owner was quite knowledgeable about his business and easily identified a rug of ours that was more than 100 years old. He is also a pleasure and an "experience" to spend time with!!
