+ -1 moreAngel reupholstered a 1942 Duncan Phyfe sofa for us. He replaced all of the foam padding, made new cushions, and matching throw pillows. Added piping was a very nice touch. Fantastic workmanship! Better than anything I have seen new in furniture stored. Could not be more pleased with the quality of the work. Angel is also very personable and made some great recommendations on how to do the work. I highly recommend him.

Description of Work: We hired Angel's to refurbish a chair. Their general lack of responsiveness once hired culminated in their not picking up the chair at the scheduled time and not bothering to communicate with us. When we called them, there was an excuse about a broken down truck. This was hours after the scheduled pickup. We ended up having someone else do the work.

+ -1 moreHe gave me an estimate for the job by phone ($1350.) Made an agreement with him to collect my furniture and perform upholstery based on estimate. Upon arrival, he loaded my furniture in his truck and proceeded to increase the estimate by almost double($2700)! Paid his competitor to do the same work for slightly more than his original quote ($1500.) That's just dishonest to me. I will never work with him nor will I recommend anyone work with him.

+ 0 moreI was concerned about getting the end result based on a photo and a poor hand drawing of the bed skirt, and was so surprised and delighted with the end result!
Description of Work: I purchased some silk taffeta for window treatments and a bed skirt. I had some pictures from a magazine and knew what I wanted. I contacted Angel and he worked with his seamstress to create what I wanted. I made a drawing of the bed skirt and they created it beautifully! Angel took 2 weeks to the day as committed and installed the window treatments and put the bed skirt on. They brought all the tools, removed their shoes while working in the master bedroom. He said it would take 1 1/2 to 2 hours and it was very accurate on the completion time. I am incredibly pleased with the end result!

Description of Work: Angel reupholstered our couch, throw pillows, ottoman, a large chair, an armchair and dining chair seats. He also made slip covers for the ottoman, large chair and couch. The fabric and trims used were expensive so that went into a lot of the cost.
