Went extremely well. They have done work for me in the past. They always do the work in a timely manner.
Description of Work: Installed a new filter for my pool. They evaluated my filter. My sand filter was 33 years old and actually got my monies out of it. Perfect. Was done when said it would be done. Definitely in a timely matter.

They were to replace a blown out light in the pool. The technician was unskilled, damaged the electrical box, improperly installed the light and wiring and after finding paraphernalia in the yard realized he was stoned. The supervisor promised to come out and fix the problems but never did. We had to hire a second company to fix the damaged caused by Ameritex. We were unable to talk with the owner of the company and even after sending a certified letter heard nothing. The office personnel was dishonest when we tried to speak with the owner. They continued to bill us and we finally resolved the problem by paying for the light only, no labor. Through that process the manager threatened to put a lean on the home and was very rude. I would never recommend this company.
