Allied Coring & Cutting

Description of Work: In early May of 2012, Allied Coring and Cutting was selected to perform a complete removal of the backyard in ground pool in Farmers Branch. Brian and Steve were nothing but professional and timely. Brian was the point for performing the quote and negotiating the contract details. Steve was the point for performing the work. Watching Steve load and unload that Bobcat earth mover was a sight. He was able to load the Bobcat, drive 100 feet, unload the Bobcat, and drive 100 feet to reload the Bobcat in less than 30 seconds. I have had several projects performed by contractors. In my experience, time frames for meeting, starting and finishing are ball park figures. The typical reasons contractors give for missed timeframes are “. . . the last customer took more time than expected”, or “. . . we hit a snag that will extend the duration”, etc. This was not the case with Brian and Steve. They were on time for the initial estimate, the follow-up meeting, the project start (despite their Bobcat earth mover not working on day one, they quickly got another) and project complete. Allied Corning and Cutting provided an outstanding service for the price. Brian was a joy during the front end of the process. His calm cool, demeanor played a key role in Allied getting the work. They did everything we discussed and agreed on. The quality of both the fill dirt and top soil was high. Since this was the backyard, the decision was made not to purchase sod. Instead, grass seed was sprinkled over the pool site and within a week, grass was sprouting up.
