Very professional job. Very few problems. Took a little bit longer to complete than I liked. But the end result was very good.

They did not send the estimate or show up a 2nd time! Did not go well!

Alex is wonderful. He is very responsive and helpful. The project took much longer than originally anticipated and cost a bit more than originally quoted, but we are very happy with the final product. The scope of the project included enclosing a doorway, moving the refrigerator and refrigerator cabinet, removing shelves and replacing with glass front cabinets, adding new cabinets to match existing, painting to match existing, tiling to match existing, and marble to match existing. There were a few problems with the painting and cabinets, but Alex was right on them and ensured they were corrected as quickly as possible. The major delay came with the marble. We didn't need a full sheet and were wanting to find a partial sheet to avoid extra charges. The marble guys identified the marble as a specific type and that type is what we were seeking for many months, with no luck. Finally, I went to the marble supplier and realized that the type identified by the marble guys did not match the existing marble. I found the one we needed, and also found a partial sheet of it in stock. After that, it did take quite a while for everyone to get on the same page and get it installed. Beyond that, any other problems were minor and readily resolved. Our house is a 1927 Craftsman Bungalow and much of the work needed to be customized to accommodate out of level walls and ceilings (therefore a little more costly than originally quoted). Alex has been a great resource for me, as my husband is overseas and I was trying to get the project completed by myself. I appreciate Alex very much and would recommend him. The finished kitchen is gorgeous and is now the envy of the neighborhood!!

They are very consistent. They always do a good job and we know we can count on them. They respond to our requests very quickly and do what they say they are going to.

Overall the project went exceptionally well. Alex, the general contractor, was very professional, easy to contact, and returned all communications promptly. His quote was detailed and very competitive. The project started on time and progressed with only a minor delay due to weather. Alex has a very hands-on project management style. The subcontractors were neat in appearance, friendly, knowledgeable, and very tidy in performing their tasks. Due to the hands-on oversite by Alex, the final customer inspection and walk-thru did not yield any surprises. As a retired engineer, I was impressed with the skill of all workers and the quality of the finished product.
